It seems like a lot of the worst performances were a result of them tensing up in the final 40m, shows how important confidence is in sprinting
Confidence has nothing to do with that lmao
@@kylitrixgames4980 Then how did Asafa Powell only run 9.95 and finish 5th in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and then run a 9.72 less than a month later in a Golden League race. Pressure, nerves, and confidence on race day makes a huge difference for people like Powell, who struggled under high pressure championship races. Such pressure can throw off race mechanics and execution.
@@onekidband5211 it has nothing to do with confidence, nor with pressure or stress. Them tensing up in the last 40m has to do with the great desire of winning and by the big competition running next to him. When Powell sees Usain Bolt almost passing him in the last 40m, he tries to 'push even harder', which will only slow you down even faster in those last 30 meters. And thus, the only fault here is powell's training, as he did not learn to focus on himself only and lost to his own mind of minding his own race.
@@kylitrixgames4980 The example you gave demonstrated that it was pressure and stress of Bolt (or Gay in this video) that caused Powell to tense up. Better focus and relaxation are just the solutions to the aforementioned problems.
love your videos man
Gatlin's progress from 2011 to 2012 was absurd
That’s when he got caught right?
No less ridiculous than his Jamaican counterparts
@@JuanSanchez-qt1ueno he was coming back from ban and getting into shape
@@JuanSanchez-qt1ueno thats when he came back inna sport after a ban
Blake is the second best sprinter in world history. I can't take anything from him. He was a special athlete. I wish he had that durability like Gatlin but that is sports for you. Injury derails you.
Good video. You can make your video more interesting by not sounding so bored. Use some tone changes in your voice. Watch some Total running production video for example.
2007年から2008年にかけてのボルトの進歩はばかげていた
What about Maurice Greene?
this was the top 5 fastest men
I think Blake’s 19.26 200m is his best race but I guess this is only 100 meter races so 🤷♂️
If you pause the video when they cross it he time is way faster
wasn’t bolt injured in that 2010 race vs gay tho?
Dunno why people assume gay was 100 percent healthy
He wasn’t injured. He was healthy in the 2010 season
Gay was the one with injury/problems
I tanik I just wasted my time
2017年のボルトはボルトじゃない
