Wow didn't expect Bolt and Blake as such a prime 30m starters matching Su and Coleman in this matter, thought they were only closing the race exceptionally cuz whenever they met Coleman or Su they were left in dushes in face to face clashes

bolt only faced coleman in his last year of competing when he was struggling to break 10 seconds, so thats not a good indicator, and no bolt didnt really get "left in dushes" against su unless youre talking about that 1 specific race where he stumbled coming out of the blocks, other than that hes always matched him pretty much, though su has never been at his peak while facing bolt either

Nah I think Christian Coleman is the greatest starter of all time because not only he is the 60m world record holder but also I have never seen anyone being ahead of him in the first 30 meters let alone Su Bingtian and Coleman has even even beaten Su Bingtian in 60m indoor race.

Absoultely. Coleman is the greatest ever because of his consistency. There is not a single race in which he came second to anyone in first 20m. He has mastered the technique in true sense. Others are good somedays and bad most days. But not Coleman

I think in my opinion If we talk about sprinter at their best su Bingtian is the best. I do like Coleman, he is super fast out the start where nobody could not catch him. Su bingtian is the top 1 best starter when it comes to their personal best. I could see why people think Coleman can be at a top 1 spot since we seen him plenty of times where nobody could catch him. And Su only had his fastest start only once. And Coleman has shown his a lot while Su only show his fastest start once. Wish Su had time to show more of his fastest start but since he is at the age where his limit is not reachable to him.
In my opinion Su has to be the greatest starter because of his time in the 30m and 60m of 3.73 30m 6.29 in the 60m.
The question is how long can 3.73 30m split 6.29 seconds 60m split be broken?

I agree. However, today they run on harder tracks that return energy sooner. So they can really push from the beginning. The 1980s tracks were softer, and so you had to wait for the speed to build - by comparison. Charlie Francis mentioned this.
Plus shoes are lighter with carbon plate spikes.
I think a prime Ben Johnson on a hard track could beat any of these 30m and 60m times.

Ben Johnson was dirty. Period. He was proven to be juicing. Where was Yohan Blake on your list? 2nd fastest 100/200 of all time. Also, none of those splits and measurements are scientific or official in any way. That said it's fun to speculate. The proven best starter is obviously Christian Coleman - WR 60m, WR 40y in a one off - I bet he could even do better. Coleman's the best.
