Erin, promise us something. That you'll NEVER lose your southern charm. There's too many California UA-camr's that do everything the same and you're unique. Also, thanks for the small history lesson in some of your videos :)
I have s cherry blossom tree outside my door I loooovvve. It blooms for only a week or two and they're beautiful 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸. I'm going to make these tomorrow xo
I'm a GA girl too! Loving your videos...you and Josh are so genuine. I feel like I have seen or met you before! I may have, I used to frequent Macon pretty often. Cool to see people from my area have success on UA-cam. Looking forward to more videos!
My mom used to make these all the time! But we just called them cake mix cookies, and we usually made them in lemon or chocolate flavor. I think she always used the whole container of cool whip and only one egg though. And she found it easier to let it chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour and it helped make them more solid. Just some tips for if you make these again. But they look so pretty! And I'm sure they're fantastic 😁 Love the videos! 😘
Oooo! Cherry blossom trees are so beautiful. I live about an hour or so north of Macon, but I've never gotten to experience the cherry blossom festival. My pollen allergies pretty much keep me inside most of the day during this time of year, but I bet the festival is so much fun!
Erin, I grew up in Forsyth and went to college at Mercer in Macon, so I love your recipe! I miss the Cherry Blossom and Forsythia festivals. :) I will definitely try your cookies - I have tried similar ones that were lemon.
I'm live in Warner Robins and have never heard an accent like yours. It's so cute and unique. I thought maybe you were from north GA. It's almost cherry blossom festival time again. The pollen is killing us!
Erin with you being from the South as I am I know your Momma has to have an amazing sausage gravy recipe. Will you PLEASE make sausage gravy next week for me??? My Momma's is amazing and I have tried and tried but I have not been successful at making a good batch of sausage gravy. It's embarrassing to tell people that at 39 I still can't make it. I love you so much and your videos are the sweetest. 💗
Thank you for sharing this recipe girl. The cookies look amazing! Can't wait to make them. Oh, and I must add, Adam, you've lost weight, you're looking good. Keep it up!
A friend of mine made these at Christmas time but used vanilla cake mix. They're so good. The texture is...idk how to explain it but so soft and fluffy and mmmmmmm
Don't forget about the Deep Roots Festival in Milledgeville! And the Cherry Blossom Festival is this week! One of my best friends lives downtown and is having a blast! ☺
My Step-Mother and I make cookies simpler to these with chocolate cake mix, but she calls them Crackle cookies 😄 they're SO good! I've never tried them with strawberry cake mix, I'm gonna try these out! 🙂🤗❤
If you let the dough chill overnight it becomes much easier to roll the dough into balls. I've made cookies similar to this but they were a chocolate version but they had the same cracks on top with the powdered sugar.❤
Try the cherry cake mix would be good. Try red velvet cake mix at Christmas time. And could put Christmas design sprinkles on them. I have had them with chocolate cake mix. They are really good. Light and fluffy
I had NO CLUE there were cherry blossoms in the South!!! Macon is only 5 hours away... veerrryyyy tempted. Maybe on the 28th on Sakura's birthday... hmmmm...
Hi Erin, you should try this easy biscuits and gravy: 1 can of buttermilk biscuits (bake them according to instructions). 1 lb of breakfast sausage (mild or spicy depending on your preference), 2-3 cups of milk, 2-4 tablespoons of regular flour. I start the oven for the biscuits when I start browning the sausage. After you brown it, add 2-3 TB of flour. When it's all mixed, add two cups of milk and stir until you get the desired thickness for the gravy. Add more milk or more flour (dioluted with a little milk) depending on what thickness you want. I like adding pepper at the end. Then pour it over the biscuits and eat it!
I'd never heard of putting cool whip in a baked good before, so I googled similar recipes, and it looks like they beat the eggs and cool whip together first, then mix in the cake mix. I wonder if that would've helped with the thickness of the dough? Love your cooking videos, Erin!
Erin, if you like small town festivals like that, you and Adam (and Pippin and Noodle!), should road trip up to the Bay Area for the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival in October :)
I make them a lot but I call them cool whip cookies try 1 egg and all the cool whip and your favorite box mix and when bakeing do 350 and look when it looks dry on top.
Favourite part of the week is when Erin uploads her weekly cooking video!! Love you Erin xoxoxo

Erin, promise us something. That you'll NEVER lose your southern charm. There's too many California UA-camr's that do everything the same and you're unique. Also, thanks for the small history lesson in some of your videos :)
Try putting the mixed dough in the frig for 10-15 mins and use a small cookie/ice cream scoop to plop into powered sugar bowl. Idk might be easier.
I'm so happy you made your own channel! So sweet and so genuine! Keep up the videos :) and I hope Josh and the rest of your family are doing well.

Those look yummy!!! I bet you could use any flavor cake mix you would want to use. I'm thinking lemon cake mix might be awesome.
Mary Allison you totally can. I have done this with several different flavors. Red velvet with some white chocolate chips added is the best!
Mary Allison I was just scrolling the comments to see if anyone else and this thought! I totally want to try it with lemon.

These look great. We don't have cool whip in Australia though. What is it? And what could I use instead??
I love an egg noodle casserole! it has egg noodles, cheese, and cream of mushroom, with cheese and bread crumbs on top👅😀 please consider making it
Erin, if you like small town festivals like that, you and Adam (and Pippin and Noodle!), should road trip up to the Bay Area for the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival in October :)
You made me miss Japan 😢😢
I make them a lot but I call them cool whip cookies try 1 egg and all the cool whip and your favorite box mix and when bakeing do 350 and look when it looks dry on top.
This looks so simple and easy. I might just make them. Do they taste like cake?
There is cherry cake mix that is pink too. So, you could potentially make them cheery flavored.
Where did you get your dress? It's so pretty!❤️
It's from Old Navy. I recognized it right away because I bought a shirt made of the same material.
EARLY SQUAD WHERE YOU AT? ❤️💜❤️
