@@thelanavishnuorchestra better yet are helm and vital (only if you have a newer computer, it doesn't work well on my win10 computer) . don't get me wrong, surge is great. for $39, Synthmaster One is especially good. a couple other amazing cheap synths , if you find them on sale, are AIR products like Hybrid, Xpand and Vacuum Pro (I got them for $19 ea) or "loom' another cheap, but amazing synth. surge is also highly recommended, of course.
I just wanted to remind myself what it souded like. It was the big deal back than. But now I feel the price is still not attractive considering there is other synths that came out and took the spotlight.

that is not the content creator's fault. it's on your end. try an adblocker. or a raspberry pi ad blocker. or just do something else during the ads. yeah, that one. i used adblocker for a decade, until it stopped working. ads are okay. great opportunity to get away from the damned computer and get a life. lol

Better synth for less -- SurgeXT open source, free, VST and CLAP, Mac/Win/Linux. Oh, and it's multi-timbral, like a Jupiter 8 or the CS80.

Bit expensive for how dated it is in design imo.
