This song is so special to me. My only son passed at age 27. He loved crosses. I had one made about seven feet tall with three stairs surrounding it. I was talking to him at the cemetery asking if he wanted our names inscribed. I drove home and in my driveway I started crying begging him to let me know what he wanted on the three stairs then Stairway to Heaven came on. The rest is history and his cross and stairs are beautiful and so is this song.
My dad claimed ALL his life when he first heard it in 1972 that it was one of the best songs ever made. I didn't believe him, until I listened to it. Timeless majestic masterpiece!
