Our pittyboo was so sweet and tender with our kids she never roughhoused with them even sten our son got older and wanted to play rough she was like no you're one of the babies. We lost her this past November she was almost 17 but she got to watch our kids grow up I believe she made them better human beings growing up with her. I miss her so much

As someone who's been in the recieving end of that back paw kick from kitties... it's no joke and Gemma just taking it and continuing to be sweet is a testament to how patient and understanding she is
Your unconditional love and your baby's love are the true prayers.
Gemma was even more loving, attentive, and protective of Elliott than we hope our kids' human siblings would be. Boops joining the family was a blessing, especially in providing her with the companionship she craved, when Elliott started school.

@Kevin Michaud You see how I wrote, "called" nanny dogs? People did call them that and still do to this day. They called them that because they were loyal and were very good with children. They didn't technically DO any nanny jobs but yes, they were and still are called that even though they weren't used for that purpose.. Always read a sentence so you get what the person was writing. I didn't say they ARE nanny dogs.. I said called..

Ch May Day , Ch Jeep, Turtlebuster, Gr Ch Nigerino. Those are real pit bulls. All those dogs are old fighting dogs. Go look them up and that’s your pit bull.

When I was a toddler we had this dog (borzoi for those interested) that was my best friend. Here are some stories:
Apparently we broke around 5 things together in the house and were a mischievous duo.
Whenever I was playing outside with a neighbors kid and we were messing around, he would look out the window and when ever we were roughhousing in front of it, and he would growl because he thought I was getting hurt.

What a great duo! In particular when the dog is play biting the cat. She could really do harm but you see totally how bonded they are. Got a winner of a dog and cat there!
It was so nice to see that Gemma was being a dear friend to Elliott but when they introduced that kitten and Gemma was trying to be playful Boops was definitely not happy until she finally did warm up to Gemma but at the end of this when Elliott said Boops way his favorite Mom had to correct him because Gemma looked very sad. Great story.
I had an orange Maine Coon named Boops. He was with me for 17 years. I still miss him.

Please start leaving your home for longer and longer intervals, at least two weeks before the start day, so it's not a massive and shocking routing to their system. Oh, and same with the kids, going to school!

it`s shows that pitbulls can be loving animals towards kids and kittens they`re not mean animals just misunderstand.
My cat that we had for 17 years passed away last September and my dog who is 15 years old had a tough time with it. He went through a period where he wouldn’t eat. I brought home a stray cat a few weeks ago and the turn around for the dog has been amazing.
Thats really cool to hear i thought about getting a cat and a dog but not sure how it would turn out better let it be haha.

Bulls, as I like to affectionately call them, are wonderful with kids. They are so full of love and patients. In my humble opinion they are the perfect family dog and great couch potatoes.
