  • This video gives you a small overview of how The Paracord Weaver ends a 4 Strand Round Braid Bracelet.
Thank You, Kyorenofounder for asking about this How To ending a 4 strand round braid using a buckle on a bracelet.
Please leave your comments, feedback or ideas for other videos below.
Because we don't need the strength like we do on a leash we can change our technic up and finish it off a little cleaner. We have done this technic thru trial and error over time and this seems to be the cleanest. If you know of someone that has used this technic on UA-cam prior, Please let us know and we will mention them here in the description.

I've been doing 65" dog leashes. Do you have any pointers or tricks on untangling the working ends as you go?

Hi Bob808Knight, I have a couple of videos:
    1. An overview of the Slatt's rescue weave belt
    2. How to start the Slatt's rescue weave
    3. How to end the Slatt's rescue weave
The Paracord Weaver: Slatt's Rescue Belt
How To - Starting the Slatt's Rescue Weave Part 1 of 2
How To - Ending the Slatt's Rescue Weave Part 2 of 2
I'll be remaking the Part 1, I have found a better way to start it so it is even more cleaner.

Hi millsvfd2003, thanks for taking time to view and comment, I appreciate! My leashes normally have a 50 inch lead section, tied to the 18 inch looped handle.
What type of weave are you using?
I assume a 4SRB, if so the easiest way that I have found and works for me is to weave 3-4 knots then pull only one strand free from the tangle, then another, the other two untangle themselves. Other than stopping and untangling every 3-4 knots, I don't of any other way.

I'm thinking about using the same finishing technique on a lanyard. Would it be sturdy enough to do so?

Hello, I am making a really short leash for my training dog and have made the handle and braided it back to that part that it is going to have the clip to attach back to the dogs' collar. However, I do not know how to attach the clip to the leash and have a finished product can you provide some advice please.

Hi Stephen, there are many ways to accomplish that. I have 2 different video series on creating dog leashes.
My preferred method is the Two Piece leash, very strong and easier to create than the single cord method, from my point of view.
You may want to view this video, which talks about just what you are attempting to do.

Hi, thank you for your video, I am making a dog collar using the 4 strand round braid, would this method of finishing off be strong enough or could you please suggest something that would be better? Thanks, Pauline

    • @TheParacordWeaver
      @TheParacordWeaver  10 років тому +1

Hi Pauline, if you are creating a collar for a Small dog then it Might be ok, I would Not finish the 4SRB on a collar for a medium to large dog. I would double back and weave back down the 4SRB for better strength.
Again on a small collar, use caution and make sure that you singe a fair amount of nylon on the two strands to give you a better chance of it holding together in that application.

What type of nipper are you using there? Also, did you have to sharpen it? Seems to slice right through the cord rather well. I am using sharp scissors but still getting a lot of fraying.

Hi RomersterOne, Do you you mean the Paracord Fids? I make my own Fids so that I can have different size needles and holes to hold the paracord. You can get them on my Etsy store.
