I can do a Facebook ad test with you to figure out if it will be a good source of leads for your company. No long-term committments. Just a test. I promise you'll learn a ton about marketing and your business. Go here to find out more. www.adaptdigitalsolutions.com/contractor-marketing
This is the best video about ads for contractors (and not only...) because it shows you the process by which you can understand what could really work, by doing tests about it, so you have a method to follow when your ad doesn't work as you expected.
Unfortunately this requires creativity and willingness to think outside the box to entice your customers. Only you as the business owner can decide what you can offer your customers. I try to think about it as if I were the person seeing my ad. "What is an offer that I would not turn away from?" If you can come up with something like that, try it! Ideas: - we'll paint your living room for free (explain that they must pay for 4 and get 1 room free) - free paint if you hire us to paint your interior (make a deal with a local paint store) - huge savings if you schedule your exterior paint job at least 3 months out (take a deposit) None of these ideas are perfect but I hope you get the point. If you can find something enticing that you can somehow do and still make your profit, you'll have an offer that you. canuse in ads, referrals, flyers, mailers, etc. A good offer sells itself a lot of the time. If you're offering the same thing people can get anywhere, it's gonna be challenging.
Off topic question-my page was getting all this traffic, more than I have ever gotten since I got verified. This morning I wake up to my page getting suspended . No reason for it or anything .. is this common ? Was I just one of the unlucky ones? Is this the end of my page after I worked really hard to get 30 5star reviews and comments?
Contact Google support and they'll tell you what they need to reinstate your listing. They are getting very serious about blocking fake accounts and you must have triggered something. Just be relentless emailing them and I'm sure you'll get it back quickly. The last time I did this it took 3 weeks and about 20 emails..
@@ramonahigh No, in fact they combined a few listings together and combined all the reviews. Just insist that they reinstate it and do whatever they ask as far as proving your identity.
@@chuckthecontractor You said that painting contractors are booked for 2, 3 months... We do marketing to bring new clients and if we are booked why would we do that?
@@ahmedallali5327 oh I see. If you’re booked then you can pull back on advertising and invest in organic means of attracting customers. You might also book customers further out or expand your operations capacity so you can handle the load and get more work done. There’s no general answer for all situations. It depends on your business and what you’re trying to do. Thx for the comment.
@@chuckthecontractor Thank you for your time. One more question if you don't: what is the average cost of a lead in the painting industry using Facebook ads?
@@ahmedallali5327 I see leads range from 20 to 200+ depending on the competition and how well the offer is positioned in the market. That's a fancy way of saying "how much people want what you're selling".

Thanks Billy. i try to make things simple because they are simple. Don't listen to people that make this stuff seem like a brain operation.
Keep up . Love your channel
Make it really simple.
Hey chuck, what’s the average CPL nowadays for Painters?
Any other painting offers that have been successful besides "immediate openings"?

Thanks for the helpful information, makes sense, even I can probably do this...lol
I'm sure you can!
On your ad campaign do you focus on lead generation or conversion?
It depends. The important part is tracking the thing you want the AI to optimize for.
So you think painting companies now don't need to market their services?
Everyone needs to market their services. Not sure where you got that from.
