+The Desert Misfits - Hello Desert Misfits. If you want to access the river, start at the South Fork Trailhead where Highway 38 crosses over the Santa Ana River. Stay south of Hwy 38. The road the other way is the campground. The paved road is 7 Oaks Road which parallels the river. It meets up with Forest Road 1N04 about a mile down. The start of 1NO4 is just a bit due east of 7 Oaks Road/South Fork and it is a dirt road. (there is a big turnout there) Have a great time when you get to go.

That would be the perfect spot for that. It's always nice to have the sound of running water close by.

You are exactly right. That waterfall is just below Hwy 38 on a dirt road coming up out of Seven Oaks.
