We've got some half priced cracked ice, miles and miles of carpet tiles, TV's, deep freeze and David Bowie LP's, Pool games, gold chains, wosnames and at a push some tasty Webley air guns from a mush in Shepherds Bush ......
Just got mine (legally from licenced supplier) What a great bit of kit right out of the box, just as you alluded to! My first Co2 rifle/carbine. feels really substantial although very light in weight. Just need those small critters from the adjoining fields to show their snouts in my back garden for a rodent apocalypse!!! awesome plinker! Thanks for your great reviews!!!
Ratting, I have a tX200 with a night sight ... weighs a lot! Have lots of shotguns etc. This gun? Got one, it weighs nothing, and yes it's a cheaper scope ... but don't over bling them, their beauty is in their lightness. Very practical. Quiet for squirrels. Never thought I'd ever own a CO2 rifle, they get a lot of bad press... turns out to be very unjustified. My son got one and fell in love so I got one as well. They are a load of fun, very accurate. A fine gun.
Bought one of these packages Feb 2024 new from a proper gun shop and initially very impressed. I was just about to buy a bulk supply of CO2 when around 200 pellets / two weeks from new something failed inside and as soon as you screwed the gas in it gushed straight out! Unfortunately no diagrams in the manual or on the Webley website, which also had no information about making a warranty claim! The dealer has taken it back and I’ve upgraded to a British made pcp instead. Disappointed as I have Webley springer pistols from the 1970’s and 80’s that are still working fine.
I had two of these rifles, one second hand, and one brand new. Had the same problem as you with both of them. Maybe a bad batch. I too got a full refund and went for an entry level pcp instead.
Morning Andy that webley is a great little rifle ,my whole experience with webley is good in 177 having had a raider12 quantum using the same pellets ,pellet on pellet at 45yrds
I am not one for CO2 rifles but this is a good contender for introducing the younglings to the joys of air rifles. Nice review and very interested in the upcoming pellets test. Please try them in a hw97 :)
I have this. Thoroughly recommended shot about 500 shots so far and it’s great. Only comment is to go for smaller pellets eg Webley accupell. I tried some jsb jumbos first and they were getting stuck, hard to load etc.
When you reviewed the Nemesis pistol, the .22 version suffered from gas leaks I recall. I have heard some gripes about the Nemesis X leaking, have these been resolved?
My .177 leaked after 4 co2's and it's been in the repair shop since mid-December so I can't recommend it based on my experience. I was thinking about getting the X but I have a feeling I'd have the same problem. The thing I hate the most is the inability to work on it myself because it looks difficult to tear down and parts are hard to find, even the shop is having problems sourcing parts.
"blowing a gail" but the trees reflected in the glass door and windows arent moving ! lol, anyway, love the webley styling ,more L1A1 than the over used AR styles or even the ALIENS sci fi styles. at last a gun for hunting targets not monsters that wont look out of place next to my mossen nagant replica

There are some regulated hpa air cylinders designed for paintball use which would fit these, they're set to the same pressure as CO2 so should work with them, would still like to see a carbine version, I can't see any legal reason for the barrel to be that long so it must be just for the power.
@@vogonpoet5860 That has been proven to be false in the past- in air rifles specifically. From memory, the barrel doesn't even need to be fully rifled as it is only the last inch or so that determine the final rotation/stability.
@@vogonpoet5860 I have two BSA Lightnings with 10" barrels, a Gunpower Stealth with a 12" barrel and a Webley Alecto pistol with a 7" barrel, to name a few of the short barrelled airguns I have, all are accurate. Long barrels on airguns can reduce accuracy as they increase lock-time, especially in a spring gun. Theoben were the first to make an ultra-carbine for exactly that reason, the less time a relatively slow moving pellet is in the barrel the better, as our human failings (heart beat, muscle movement and breathing) have less time to cause a disruption to the shot cycle. A CO2 rifle needs a longer barrel to generate power due to the larger molecules and lower pressure of CO2 (850 psi).

Hi Andy, great review as always , we been using the QYS pellets in our vixen for quite a while..and it loves em, can't wait for your vlog on them soon. Andrew
One awesome video! I just love this one already! Dunno if I'd be more excited about this one or the UX Fusion2... Maybe this Nemesis rifle though.. Would love to buy one. And will - if getting a chance someday. Plastics never put me off. The UX 3X Morph rifle is an awesome example as it is incredibly light - and shoots hard as a sob! Never really minded the Nemesis pistol - because I do not care for bolt action on pistols. But this rifle version looks amazing! I love the overall looks, decent handguard, a 3-9 scope and a seemingly nice trigger. Magazine and single shot tray. The UK price at least was not bad at all for what you get.. And that 2x 12g adapter is a must-have! I'd probably put the 3-9 scope on my Sig Virtus and use the adapter for my Sig co2 MCX though...🤣
Get a hpa bottle and adapter from best fittings and turn it to a pcp rifle shooting at 12ftp That's what I have done to mine and it's brilliant. Good review 👍
@Kieran Ridgway i top mine up to 2000psi and it never leaks, the rifle was designed for co2 so the o-rings inside the rifle are not strong enough for 3000psi but you can always upgrade the o-rings. If you don't want to do anything then just top the bottle to 2000psi or 150bar and it won't Leake. From time to time you should put some co2 through the rifle to lubricate the seals inside. Let me know how you get on
Looks great but my 22 pistol version broke straight away and started venting gas. Crawley surplus where I bought it from were great and repaired it, sending it back to me. However shortly afterward it started to vent CO2 again, and I can't be bothered to send it back to them again at ££ cost to me. I'd hope Webley sort the Quality control on this one.
Are the sight-mounts also adaptable for night-vision scopes too? If so which ones are recommended for this particular Webley model (The Nemesis X Combo)? Thanks 🙏🏼
Have you seen the PCP version yet? I converted mine a month ago but saw that Webley have released their new version - WEBLEY NEMESIS X PCP just recently, with purportedly .177 - 11.5ft/lbs, 800fps, 15 Joules and .22 - 11.5ft/lbs, 600fps, 15 Joules. Also it looks like P-e-l-l-p-a-x have released their own (non Webley) branded CO2 version called the Phantom. Any thoughts?
I’m in the market for an inexpensive rifle for occasional pest control and this looks perfect, although I was surprised to see it so low on power. New QYS pellets??? Andy, I've been using the awesome QYS pellets since mid 2019, in particular the QYS Streamlined Heavies and they blow all over JSB or H&N pellets, especially in Brocock rifles. I've tested them against at least 20 different pellets, and they are a winner. Of course they only come in .177 though!
Hi mate.. just got my new Webley nemesis X rifle..can I ask you a question.... when I fit the 88g bulb.. do I have to fit some kind of adapter into the back of the rifle before I Insert the 88g C02 bulb? I have screwed the bulb into the rifle but it's not piercing the bulb..so I'm thinking there should be some kind of adapter should be fitted...can you please advise me... thanks...
Excellent video as always 👍🏻 I have a rodent problem in my garden and am asking would this be a good choice to help with culling ? I own a gamo camo maxxim X10 but that's like shooting a canon at shortish ranges 15-25 yds. and just as loud would this be alot quieter and more garden friendly ? Keep up the brilliant videos 👍🏻👍🏻
Just get one. They are very quiet vs my main critter tool which is a .22 12lb springer. I have rats in the garden daily also, they are a big problem, shoot 10 - 15 a week when they infest and find a home. They burrow under anything and destroyed my shed. I back onto fields so , well, they are there. Scope that comes with it is fine for rats out to 25 depending on your eyesight. There is no correction on the sight provided if you wear glasses but you can move it easy with all those rails. I've just ordered a little cheap bipod for mine to make it stable as it's so light weight.
@@somebawldy3789 I'd say no to pheasants, they deserve a shotgun. Rabbits sure if you're accurate. Always shoot to kill nit to injure, even for rats. I got a 12g canister thingy for mine, get around 60 shots and much cheaper to run especially if your not going to shoot off 300 or so.

Andy can I ask why they can't get co2 rifles up close to the 12flb limit and co2 pistols up close to the 6lb limit too, it seems ridicules to me!
They can do that but CO2 guns are more temperature sensitive than PCPs and might wander over 12ft/lbs on warm days.

As always a fantastic review thank you. I can see that in my collection soon lol.
I'd wondered who nicked all those Webley rifles...
Don't worry Andy, we won't tell anyone.... 👍
That is sexy! I wonder if there is a kral version. I have the kral np02 over the webley
I'm hoping to see these in the us
They stopped the co2 leak that was always a fault with pistol????
New QYS pellets??? Andy, I've been using the awesome QYS pellets since mid 2019, in particular the QYS Streamlined Heavies and they blow all over JSB or H&N pellets, especially in Brocock rifles. I've tested them against at least 20 different pellets, and they are a winner. Of course they only come in .177 though!
Awsome gun,superb videos,entertainment garanteed,
Any chance of you giving the chrono results in the first paragraph of your script?
Is the a way of refilling 88gram CO2 canister, Andy ?
Hi mate.. just got my new Webley nemesis X rifle..can I ask you a question.... when I fit the 88g bulb.. do I have to fit some kind of adapter into the back of the rifle before I Insert the 88g C02 bulb?

@@black5f is it any good for pheasants and rabbits
@@somebawldy3789 I'd say no to pheasants, they deserve a shotgun. Rabbits sure if you're accurate. Always shoot to kill nit to injure, even for rats. I got a 12g canister thingy for mine, get around 60 shots and much cheaper to run especially if your not going to shoot off 300 or so.
I have allways wondered why not anybody has made a AR15 look PCP rifle? The pressure tank could be in the foregrip..
