I tried your tips, and was able to play IN TUNE tonight with the other flutes. Your video helped me determine the “sweet spot” for the tuning on the two pieces that I have to play for our concert. I’m having fun playing piccolo again, thanks to you!
Could you make a video in which you introduce your earplugs (customs and the foam one) in great detail? In which you cover: 1. What does someone have to pay attention to when inserting earplugs? 2. Why do wear hearing protection In the first place? 3. Since when are you protecting your hearing when playing the piccolo? 4. Why do you sometimes switch between the custom and the foam one in your right ear and in your right ear only? 5. Why do you only use hearing protection when playing the piccolo (when practicing alone) 6. Did you try any other earplugs before you began wearing the custom ones? That would be really great if you could do a video covering all these points because I am planning on acquiring a pair of custom earplugs too. Thank you
