WELL DONE VERY THOROUGH VERY MUCH APPRECIATED SO MANY YAHOO'S THAT PUT OUT VIDEOS THAT JUST WANT TO HEAR THEMSELVES TALK AND SKIP PROCEDURES THANKS AGAIN GOOD JOB
Sir are you able to make a video for beginners showing how to use a floor jack to jack up a 2003 Dodge Caravan in the correct jacking points and where to place jack stands in the correct jacking points, please? I have to install new front strut assemblies.
If you are asking where and how to jack up a vehicle, perhaps replacing strut assemblies is beyond your capabilities. They are critical suspension items for both drivability and safety. They are not exactly easy things to replace and get them correct. I would suggest taking it to a shop to have done.
Supposedly disconnecting the axle nut, rotor, and brake caliper; these could have been left intact with the knuckle. Simply unbolt those two bolts holding the top knuckle into the strut, as you done here. Then remove the 2 bolts at each end of the control arm where the bushings are. Finally just get a ball separator tool and remove the knuckle from the ball joint. The knuckle will swing down and out. The guy who did that, had a lift, so you may have been better off doing it your way, due to your height limitations. I just wanted to answer your question, I appreciate the channel and the various videos you post.
