Bob, First of all I love the tracing the historic pieces concept. From what I have heard is some of these ancient blades were based of a the curves of animals that they had scene. I was thinking to myself, how cool would it be to come up with a shape design for knife based off a native North American Animal? If we could find a pose of an animal and build a functional useful knife overlaid the same way you did here, but over an animal and show the transition of photos to completion, bet it would turn out to be a great video!!

The best shapes are always found in nature! I find most of the blades refined their shape from some useful purpose. Be it short for close quarters, long curved Calvary blades, bludgeoning blades, piercing, etc. I know when I build a blade, I typically name them. That name quite often comes from an animal. Venom for the heartbeat spike in the Damascus, Cobra from fangs on the guard, a dragons claw. So I think you absolutely right. Might have to look around.

Bob, you are just killing it on pushing out new content. Do you have the paid version of knife print? I know you have told me before I just can’t remember.
