    Thank you so much for mentioning the embarrassing part about not knowing where to plug the power into on the brick… been fumbling with my laptop/monitor setup for 10 minutes going through manuals when I saw this and everything worked immediately. Great video

    I was here saying all kinds of not so nice things about my IT department because it made no sense why I had to plug battery power into the laptop because it doesn't plug into the port 😂😂. Thank you this definitely helped.

    Please is it possible to use this(HP thunderbolt G2) to extend display on 2 monitors with a PC which has no USB-C entry point?

      Yes, you can use it with USB-A, but the USB-A port you are connecting to needs to support DisplayPort alternate mode, this dock comes with a USB-C/A adapter

      Not that I recall. Check out HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 on Amazon as that has a couple USB-C ports.

      Yes. I call DisplayPort Cables D-Cables. It looks like a D to me. I say a lot of weird things.
