No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A pleasant stroll along the Peak Forest Canal. The Marple Aqueduct is situated in Marple, a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Built in the late 18th century as part of the Peak Forest Canal, it was designed by engineer Benjamin Outram and completed in 1800. The aqueduct carries the canal over the River Goyt and the railway. We begin the walk at the top of the Marple Lock Flight, also known as the "Sixteen," consisting of 16 locks that raise the canal significantly. This flight is a notable feature of the canal, adding to the historic and industrial character of the area. A beautiful autumn walk! Do enjoy. :)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to UA-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Attention Dogs Grrrr bark woof - 😂😂😂 Too funny! Weird seeing that size boat on the canal. These boats- are they just lived in on the canal/river? That stairway down towards the river looked interesting! I love the view of the bridges. It was picture postcard worthy!!Thank you for exploring it for us!

Marple is a very nice quiet community and I enjoyed the walk along the canal and the aqueduct with the beautiful houses and buildings on each side as well as the beautiful scenery of course and another great walk in a very nice place

Had a look online and I don't believe that there is any link between the two.
When I saw the title I got my wires crossed for a moment, I thought this was in St. Mary Mead :)
oh so beautiful. makes me want to move to England. We have a beautiful places here in Ireland, but I feel you guys have more walks and trails, more freedom of movement. Everything is private land here in Ireland and fenced ;-(
What time of year is it? My guess would be second week of October. The narrow boaters must find this stretch absolutely grueling with lock after lock. Is this unusual or is this sort of lock stretch common? Do boaters have a way to avoid it? Do they tend to take a lunch break or stay the night halfway through? So may locks must be exhausting.
It was 18th November when this was filmed, we had a really late Autumn last year! Locks can be fairly common, depends where around the country they are some counts are flatter than others. It can easily take a full day though when crossing a section like this, and I don't believe there is any way round it. Though exhausting, I assume they enjoy it to some degree.
At 7:42 kind of dangerous someone fall there by accident or an animal.
Would be difficult to extricate oneself.
