Legends, I live in Melbourne AU now but listening to 3 Northerners chat through life makes me smile. Even if you are all from the wrong side of the Pennines 🤣
Just visited your farm shop all the way from Worcester, rarely missed a video and what an experience just to be able to see it all! And got a strawberry milkshake for the next leg of the road trip!
Hi Tom, I led the team that designed both the NAV900 and the GFX, both are products I'm very proud of - hope to see them more in future videos. Good luck with the maize.
Hell yeah well done a relief off you now get your dad back into bed so he can rest the older generation find it hard to stop working enjoy watching ya crops grow nice one tom
nothing wrong with that power harrow of yours , worth looking after now she worked , some of us would be glad to have that , and it saved so much time , can see your excited to have seed in the ground now and the forecast for the coming 10 days or so is very good , so you will have the heat and moisture that maize will take off fast in these conditions and you will soon forget it was a few days later going in , some down here are planting now so you will be fine
Can hardly wait to see the maize growing! Absolutely love your videos and drone footage. Can’t believe all the improvements and the growth your farm is doing. You and your dad are an awesome team and you have wonderful workers around you. ❤❤
Its amazing how much the fields have dried out in such a short space of time, I know there are some places where they are still sticky but they look really good. Your dad is just like me with my back, my kids and wife keep telling me off when they think I've done to much. Me in my head I'm still 18 and have the body to go with it, I'm not in my 60's with my spine falling apart and a boby riddled with arthritis. 😂🤣👍
Tell me about your body falling apart- in dairying over 34 yrs, managing herds, not worked now 6 yrs and I'm 60 soon, 1 hip replacement, waiting for the other to be done and both knees totally shot to bits. On crutches to just get about now, plus lower back not good. Dairy farming isn't a good prospect for long term health, but did I enjoy it? Yep, wouldn't have swapped for anything!!!
Hi Tom, your having the same Trimble set up as I had fitted to my New Holland T5 a few years ago to run a new Amazone Sprayer, once set up its quite easy to use . I always said " I've been tractor for 50 odd years and managed quite well with out it " Now I use it for every thing 😁
Glad the ginge is doing well. Now you’re a part time cereal farmer. Talk about diversification. 😁 Looking forward to see how your first maize crop turns out. Also, nice Katie is interested in learning to power harrow. 👍👍
You got GPS that was sneaky to keep it a secret Tom. You are certainly getting the best out of those two girls you hired. Also great that you are giving them training on the job.
Love the moment when the 3 lads were standing in the field planning out the work and the banter about get it in the ear from the missus about staying out. Moments to remember
I love watching these kinds of videos. It’s like instant gratification seeing the till lines go from large-medium-fine. Do the seagulls eat the seed when you put it down? And LOL at The Ginger Warrior “How much trouble I’m in…” 😂
Agree with the remark about Anna and Katie on the screen lol missed them not being in the video always good content glad the ginger guy is recovering nice to see him how’s your little one doing growing fast
78th! Happy TACO TUESDAY Tom,Luke,Hiedie,Hanna, and the ginger warrior with a mustache, and a repaired back. Aren’t nettles fun?! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Just a helpful tip with the grease gun. When you need to replace the tube and the old one won’t come out pull back on the plunger and just let it go quickly and it should pop the end out enough to grab.
The time slips back-and-forth are always funny. Looking forward to the Maze videos. Also the GPS looks interesting. Everyone happy cows. Be well be you.
I know they say six weeks rest but that's like a year to a farmer. I know your dad was itching to get back to it. I think Mrs Ginger Warrior did a great job getting him to rest at all.
wow thats smooth enough to put grass back down corn dont need it that smooth corn is cut around10 inches off the ground but i like how easy it is to get it that smooth clasic harrows would take 3-6 passes
we run three GPS tractors, one on a 60 ft. seeder, another on a 90 ft disc , personally I don't like it on smaller fields, on the bigger ones where you run maybe 5 miles in a run they have their use, did it all without it for many years
Fields are looking good, fingers crossed for the weather. Have you seen Crawfords farm, his last video was called How does the Farm Contract Work, this doesn't apply to you guys but he spoke about an App he uses called Green Light Grower or Muddy Boots and it seemed great for recording costs for individual fields/projects etc. put in costs and amounts used and it calculates everything for you. Might be worth a look to cost out crops and see how much the real cost of everything is.
I have a question, no idea about ploughing and power harrowing, but the two pass, is this why people just use discs to break it up and dry it out for the power harrow going over to seed bed it?
Brilliant 👌🏻Glad you went for that Case, come into its own with the work load you give it. I’d definitely look into a front weight though.. Tidy M18 grease gun TP, glad I’m not the only one that struggles to get the empty cartridge out 😂
Don't know what trimble cost but alot of places I work at run starfire and the savings made are so small you've got to be running a decent acreage to justify the costs
Hi Tom, dairy farmer from Wisconsin,us and I really enjoy watching your videos every week seeing how you do things over there! Just curious, why aren’t skid loaders more popular in your area with the tight yards and hard to get to places?
I power harrow before spreading the fert- I think spreading it first ends up burying the fert to deep and the roots can’t reach it until they’re long enough.everyone does it differently
Great video as always 👍 Try not to leave your tractor out overnight with the GPS on as they're highly nickable, sad to say 😢 and they're an expensive item to lose.
GPS i shandy for you piloting the drone. I personally don't like the look of any of the GPS steering wheels and prefer the original, would be cool of you could use the stock steering wheel with GPS though.😅 Me prioritzing aesthetics over functionality😂.
Fantastic video, your dad looks a bit excited to be growing maize again. But double power harrowing, aren't you concerned about compaction of the seed bed? Top work Tom
I wish you would slow down, I feel knackered after watching your videos.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Tom Pemberton with GPS you couldn't make it up. Well done all that hard work will pay off when you come to harvest the maize.
WOW a great video.... like watching a thriller.... since we hanging on for the next part soo much 😊😂 I'm just dieing to find out out if it under plastic/film or not AND wondered about maize fertiliser 🤔🤔
Hi tom i just wounderd if you needed any music for any of your videos would love for you to include one size boots by amy rowbottom if not its ok thankyou and keep up the good work getting the word out about how hard farming is and the real life struggles farmers are having
LOve the writing on the front windscreen of the tractor "Anna + Katie" with two hearts
A dairy farmer may not need GPS, a drone pilot on a tractor needs it for sure.
Exciting times, enthusiasm boiling over😂 Tom boys and their toys always makes me smile.
I was so happy to get going’s 😂
This maize series is spot on, bringing back loads of memories of people from my youth
Thanks Andy ☺️
I laughed at the " how much trouble will I be in"
Everyone married knows that situation.
Hope the ginger warrior didnt get in to too much trouble 😂😂
💯💯😂

That's great to see the ginger warrior back looking healthy and very happy...Just try not to over do it we need you around for a long time
Wonderful to see the ginger warrior I missed him, but take care of yourself you gotta heal.
Amazing how getting the job done can 'lift' everyone. Well done.
I enjoyed your video!!! So glad your able to upgrade and make farming easier.!!! Gives you family time !! Love you all !!!
Love an appearance from moon at the end!! ☺️
Hell yeah well done a relief off you now get your dad back into bed so he can rest the older generation find it hard to stop working enjoy watching ya crops grow nice one tom
When you're working for a lifetime it's hard to just sit down. My Grandpa is like this.
He’s not that old!
@@nicolad8822 My Grandpa is 64.
Great video Tom good to see your dad looks like he’s getting better

Finally. Every farmer who does field work should have GPS somewhere. The save in time is massive.
It’s just incredible 🙌
Glad the ginge is doing well.

Good to see the GInge back in full action. Just don't over do it.
Glad to see andrew up and about but take it easy 😊
Cole the corn star would approve! Way to go Tom . Good job 👍
great video good to see ginger warrior enjoying himself
Great job on the maize prep. Hope you and Moon have a GREAT day!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Always interesting and entertaining. Wishing you and your family the best.
Hello from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Canada great videos thanks for sharing with all of us 😊
I love watching these kinds of videos. It’s like instant gratification seeing the till lines go from large-medium-fine. Do the seagulls eat the seed when you put it down?
And LOL at The Ginger Warrior “How much trouble I’m in…” 😂
We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land.....❤👍Cheers! Stephen.

What a teaserclip in the end :) Your dad seems happy putting the old powerharrow to use again :)
🙈🙈

Well done, Tom, looks like you and the crew have thing in hand the soil looks good. I hope it is a wonderful crop!

Thank you Tom & Dad 😊❤
Well done Tom
It's a beautiful thing!! Well done!
Great video would love to see longer videos 😊
Girl power on the tractors!
Such a well prepared seed bed, the crop will be a maize ing
I got to drive a case this week! First time ever driving a tractor and it was ace! Kept thinking, this is what Tom drives 😂
Love a bit of crop field work! The Ginge super excited to use the harrow❤❤
Love and prayers 😇💜
Look at him go.....21st century Tom!!!
That is a fantasticly smooth seed bed!
Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t even have GPS on his tractor. Good on ya Tom👍👍
Good point. Poor Lambo… GPS deficient. Jeremy should consider it. May help with those terrible tram lines. 😂
Great video Tom and looking like a real arable farmer now as well as a dairy farmer the fields look completely different now 👍👍
12:21 😂 brilliant.
wow thats smooth enough to put grass back down corn dont need it that smooth corn is cut around10 inches off the ground but i like how easy it is to get it that smooth clasic harrows would take 3-6 passes
Hedge-row special, always handy
arrrgh I have to wait for drilling maize - Tom I could watch for hours. Love it
Nice dot of the green farm👍😄
Nice to see you doing ‘proper farming’ 😇😎
gps is essential on a fishing boat Tom, get it you wont regret it.
Fun fact, sort of. Trimble is no longer the Gps CNH using. They got into some sort of trouble, so the new stuff will have Raven.
we run three GPS tractors, one on a 60 ft. seeder, another on a 90 ft disc , personally I don't like it on smaller fields, on the bigger ones where you run maybe 5 miles in a run they have their use, did it all without it for many years
5 miles!! 🙈🙈🙈
5 fucking miles!!!! That's our next town..
Another fantastic video Tom.
Fair bit of craic boys. Cheers from Texas
Music 👍👍 those bouncy seats can not be good for Ging's back. Great video Tom 👍👍👍💛💛

I agree about the app. It seemed an easy way to keep an eye on costs

Loved it Tom. Automation giving Zach a run for his money now.
Brilliant 👌🏻Glad you went for that Case, come into its own with the work load you give it. I’d definitely look into a front weight though.. Tidy M18 grease gun TP, glad I’m not the only one that struggles to get the empty cartridge out 😂
Enjoyed the video ✔️
Thank you for your fantastic videos and how is joeann and your family SWEETIE 💕
Doing well thank you ☺️
Top Job 🤘
FarmIdeas workshop miracle which loosens rusted parts - bolts, shafts, sprockets, pulleys etc. Heat and candle wax. Very effective!
Great video Tom

Bit light on the front end 😜There was a tad more care being taken on the corners than normal!
👀🙄🐾👍It's good to see Andrew back in harness are you planting the maize under plastic?
Was starting to panic that there wasn't going to be a Tuesday video!
We were out shopping me and dad and the signal went for the upload 🙈
What have you both been buying young Tom
Fantastic video, your dad looks a bit excited to be growing maize again. But double power harrowing, aren't you concerned about compaction of the seed bed? Top work Tom
Needed the two runs really 🤷♂️
Lyra….. great music👍🏻great video on
I wish you would slow down, I feel knackered after watching your videos.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tom Pemberton with GPS you couldn't make it up. Well done all that hard work will pay off when you come to harvest the maize.
Moving light years ahead Tom. The maize will enhance your cows diets as well. Good stuff! Drink more milk!
Thanks for the video Tom.
It’s Ah Mazing how much corn your going to plant.
Great video Tom. There's no stopping your dad, did he get told off much
