He seemed to be three overs ahead of the game and without doubt he is the best tactical captain Australia has had since I. M. Chappell mind, they both had the firepower and cattle to back them up. Tubby comes across as a pretty down-to-earth country boy who doesn't have his head up his 'lemon 'n sarss'. Some feedback if I may, and perhaps it was due to time but, why didn't you ask him: - to elaborate on the Saleem 'the rat' Malik's bribery attempt. - what Tubby thought he got wrong as captain, and - the future of Test cricket. Great stuff... keep that sort of gear coming...
Fun Fact about that Shield Final Tubby talked about (1989/90 Final), He actually made TWIN Hundreds in that game He made 127 in the First Innings Then made an even 100 in the Second Innings
