This was a brilliant video, very well made. Currently an F2 doctor and was considering a career in radiology and it's actually so useful and interesting to see the actual day in the life of a consultant
Really thankful for this video. I’m a doctor who wants to be a radiologist in UK as my future career. I’ve been searching for a UK version and here it is. You seems so energetic and lovely too 💕 Please show us more!
Excellent. Thank you for taking us with you through your day. For ultrasound, I am doing them standing for 3 years now and feel way better regarding back aches. It is good that you get all the half day to prepare for your MDT , unfortunately, where I work we don’t have time for that , so either you discover the cases on the MDT or you stay after 18h to check the exams .
Currently a medical officer in radiology in South Africa, I recently passed my part one exams and am interviewing for registrar posts. The information you share is SO VALUABLE and not easily accessed so thank you so so much. I'm inspired to do the same in journey to attract more interest in this beautiful field. Let me know if I could contact you privately for advice on MMed research topics Everything of the best to you on your endeavors going forth and please continue to share it with us
Hi Gugu I'm also interested in Radiology, can I ask if you had exposure to Radiology prior to getting the MO post? Will be applying for Comm Serve later on this year and I'm trying to figure out which hospitals will enable me to get exposure in Radiology
Loved your video! I'm a final year med student and want to do Radiology. Would love to see more videos about your experiences/vlogs as a radiologist. Thanks!
Gd evening mam ,That's very nice and informative video,,,i am doctor from Asia ,,wann do my post graduation in the UK as a radiologist ,,,, please keep posting ur daily vlogs , lifestyle, and personal- professional life balance
Hi can you explain this radiologist terminology. Does "short intact hip abductors" in the impression on hip mri study mean the tissue has actually shortened or its just referring to the abductor and rotator muscles? Do you know which muscles?
Dear doctor, in the lower left corner of my lung x-ray it says 92kVp 25mA 4mAs. Does this mean that during the recording I received a dose of radiation of up to 4 mAs?
Hi there! Loved the video, very informative. I'd just like to ask you if you report X-rays and cross-sectional imaging as well. Is your position restricted to ultrasounds, or do you have special days where you report other modalities (only asking as they're not mentioned in the video). Thank you!
Hi there. Thanks for watching. As a radiologist you report both plain film and cross sectional imaging and, do US +/- intervention, participate in MDTs, fluroscopy etc. Not restricted to only ultrasound.
IOM UK TB test results i had the report Negative TB and only chest x ray abnormal. short bandlike opacity in the left lung base. i had IGRA test is Negative. could i apply work visa for UK please tell me?
Hello ..uhm I'm Paballo from South Africa and I recently started following and watching your videos....If I may ask ..how were you able to become a radiologist...what did it take to become one ...and what were the requirements ?what would it take for an international student to study radiology in UK? I am intending to study radiology when I get to varsity(currently in the 10th grade)
Hello Dr,that was a very nice video. But may i ask something very basic? If an IMG clears FRCR exam( without plab), is he eligible to work in uk as a radiologist?
To my knowledge, no. You need the PLAB exam in order to be registered with the GMC and you cannot work as a Doctor in the UK if you are not registered with the GMC.
Can you please tell me...... I am Completed my Diploma in X-ray Technician..... And I won't to do Advance Diploma and Master's from UK .... So Which Speciality I choose... And which Speciality is demanding right know in UK....

Would you consider working as an radiologiat overwhelming as compared to being an obstetrician?
Im a medical officer in Ghana.
Solo ultrasonido consume mucho tiempo 😢, yo medio día dedico a la ultra , en la tarde intervención y resonancia y enseñar a los residentes 😊

I have a doubt
If I do Msc in medical imagaing and write PLAB will it help me to get into radiology training easing
Hi. Honestly, I don't think the MSC would improve your chances. I wouldn't advise it if the only reason to do so is to get into Radiology.
@@thesavvydoctor6729 it would be nice to make a video about this subject.
No idea what any of this means, but the on thing that is non-negationable is an MD or equivalent
