Hello peeps 🥰✨ So as most of you know, UA-cam and Instagram isn’t my full time job! I’m a diagnostic radiographer! A lot of people don’t actually understand our role or what we do, so I thought I’d film a video to explain it 🥰 we play such an important role in a hospital setting with all the other disciplines! Hope you enjoyed today’s upload ❤️✨ hope you allll have a lovely week ahead! Xoxox
hello leila this side Piyush I am from India and I have completed my graduation in Medical Imaging Technology from tata institute of social science how can I work as a radiographer in the UK please request please guide me about it
Honestly amazed that you juggle being a radiographer with being a UA-camr - respect! As someone who works in the NHS I found this super interesting, thank you 😊
literally doing research rn on what work field i should go into and i NEED a job that allows time for the gym. it’s a big part of my life so ty for showing this
I graduated from a "radiology assistant" (that's what our profession is called in the Czech Republic) at CTU in Prague and I was surprised at how we have the same job here and in London! It works a little differently for us, we study at university for three years, we get a bachelor's degree and we can work on diagnostics, radiotherapy or nuclear medicine, so we can choose after our studies. I really liked the video, it's interesting to have a comparison :) thank you!

Hi Leilaaa! ! I'm Brazilian and i'm finishing my radiology college and I LOVED getting to know your channel! I already signed up and i intend to follow you! Thanks for showing what work is like in London!
It was such a informative, interesting and enjoyable video Lelia ( I am a bit of a science geek). I didn't know much about radiography and what is involved. Hopefully the patient's appreciate your role in their healthcare. Thanks for this video and no i am not getting bored of Lelia enjoying Biscoff and even if I were(it will never happen) you do what suits you.
Stunningly edited intro. Skillful edit at 4:45. Loved the monochromatic outro plus funky music. Great day-in-the-life! I know how challenging it is to edit for YT plus work full-time. Props to you Leila because you do it seamlessly! Peace and love❤️ from NY.
I absolutely loved this video! I always think your job sounds so interesting! It always leaves me in shock how you balance your job, UA-cam and all your other social media. You are a true inspiration Leila, never forget it❤️❤️
I love this! Please make more videos like this, follow you along your daily work routine 🤗 I’m studying diagnostic ultrasound sonography so these videos are super interesting to me on how to set a productive routine 😊
You're such an inspiration 😍 If only I had 10% of your organization skills I would be an entirely new person lol anyways, love this types of videos, can't wait to see more of them in the future💕🌸

Did you notice a difference at work when you started to eat more / fuel yourself properly? Like did you find that you had more energy and enjoyed the work more? Or was there no difference at all xxx
I noticed a big difference! My brain was more switched on, able to focus more! More willing to do more work and work as a team! Felt a sense of work ethic along with my team rather than being left out! Able to run around more 🤣 which is what we have to do most of the day!! ✨
Hi Leila! Thank you for the video! 😍 I just wanted to ask you whether you struggled when you started waking up early in the morning (I don't know what time you usually wake up but it seems like it's really early) and whether you keep the same time for waking up in the weekend. Thanks in advance for your answer ☺️
Heya girl! It’s not something I struggle with because I get enough sleep! I make sure I get 7-8 hours sleep a night! And I’ve been doing it since I was 16, so it’s pretty much a routine for me that I’m use to! It fits perfectly within my schedule and allows me to do plenty throughout the day! It’s the same for the weekend unless I get home late from plans with friends and family xox
Is there any admin or paperwork required in your field? Ie. Are you required to make detailed patient notes, taking a history and symptoms, recording your findings and making referrals etc?
Absolutely love this particular video Leila💕..... I'm a Diagnostic Radiographer myself and I feel seen after watching this🤗. Looking forward to more amazing videos from you

Hi Leila, I liked this video, very in depth. I am a senior in high school researching possible careers and radiography is popping out at me. I've been doing some reading around, and some radiographers say the job can be hard on your body, especially your lower back. Do you find this to be an issue at all?
Oh Leila! I had a dream last night that you were in Greece for vacation, I suddenly see you and I scream to you “LEILA LOOK I HAVE BISCOFF BISCUITS, do you want one????” And I gave you one 🥺 I took the biscoff situation on another level 😂 I loved the dream and I loved your video as ALWAYS 💖🧚🏻
Thank you for such a realistic video of what a radiographer does! Im planning to get another degree (I'm Australian) after finishing this one so I can become a radiographer :) I was wondering what dose your dose dosimeter badge typically measures a month? And even with wearing a lead jacket are you worried about the parts of your body at are exposed? e.g hands, face etc
Aww amazing! 🥰🥰 wishing you the best of luck! I’m not sure on the exact numbers but I never exceed the dose! And those less radiosensitive areas like hands and feet are less of a risk xx
