Hey Jeff, also in the picture, Peter Gotti can be seen. I remember Peter was in jail on federal charges when John passed away, so it could've been an another occasion.
Domenico is probably the most interesting mobster ever. Starts off with Tranfacante in Florida then moves to New York during the forming of the commission in the 30s then becomes a captain during the Anastasia era. This should be made into a series. Good job Jeff
Another excellently researched and well done podcast Jeff. One can only imagine if Jimmy Brown & Joe Arcuri took over the family and also kept Joe N. Gallo in his long kept spot where the family's direction would have went.
I love the way you truly said it stay in line play the game dont make no waves and just continue paying up and nobody will bother you..another great video keep these videos coming ...
Great content Jeff! Your research and storytelling is second to none! Love stories about the old time guys, they are what kept stirring the drink of the mafia. Trafficante family has always been interesting to me, need to learn more about Frank Diecidue, thanks for peaking my interest! Great job!!!
Jeff man you continue to put out bangers! Football is back, Jeff drips another great video, starting to feel like fall, and I went golfing. How can this day get better man lol
Excellent as always Jeff. Under the radar big style, making big moves healthy style!!! Father and Son both Heavyweight's for sure. Thanks for the knowledge my man.
Brilliant show. Very nicely done. Underrated mobster I never heard about. The Gambinos is probably the most powerful family right now since handed over to the Sicilian Faction. The future of crime looks good for the Gambinos Lol
Yes! I’ve been waiting for someone to do something on Joe. Such a fascinating character. We all know about the Carl Gambino and Joe Batters not ever going to prison but there have to be so many more given how many people were inducted over time. I think you could do a whole fucking show on those old timers that flew under the radar and made millions. Thanks for this one Jeff. This kinda shit keeps us coming back!
arcuri's definitely dont get enough recognition that they should, i put them on the level of jimmy brown, just a bunch of cagey under-the-radar gangsters. great episode jeff.
@@EFL4952 I've been in Tampa my entire life, and you are correct that the Tribune used the moniker when writing about Frank, but them coming up with it I doubt, they have never been that creative. However, I'm an old friend of Vince LoScalzo's nephew Angelo, and he calls him Daddy Frank when mentioning him, so it was/is used by some in the Ybor/West Tampa community.
I agree Jeff people need remember guys like the Acruri's, the Failia's and the Zappi's because they were the silent cogs in the family machine that made money. Have a good weekend
Hi Jeff. I like your videos. I was wondering if you could clear something up. Since the five New York families existed before the formation of the commission in 1931, do you know which families were under Joe Masseria and which were under Salvatore Maranzano during the Castellamarese war? I know Joe Bonanno was with Maranzano during that war and later replaced him as boss after Maranzano was killed and the commission was formed. Was Maranzano the head of just one single family that Joe Bonanno was part of and were the other four families with Joe Masseria during the Castellamarese war (or even before the war)? I'm of course talking about before Lucky Luciano pretended to switch sides from Masseria to Maranzano in his plot take them both out. Thanks.
I am so happy to click on of Jeff's videos and not hear about EG Vodka.🤮 Lot's of Guys never do a day in jail and you will never hear about them. Just cuz the Admistration of a Borgata is chaotic there are still many day to day Made Men avoiding the limelight and making money. Thanks for another excellent video!!
Great video bro another hit so the guy got made in 2 families or made in Florida than transferred to the mangano/gambino family???? Or is it possible but obviously a long shot he’s a Florida guy operating in NY ON BEHALF OF TRAFFICANTE???? I don’t know only 2 times in history guys got made twice 1. Ralph Natale lolll but seriously 2. The time the 5 guys from south Philly newark crew got made in 94 than COMMISION made them get remade in 95….. LOVE FROM TRENTON NJ
Crazy I never heard of this dude. Like you said this is one of the guys will never hear about but made The Mafia run. The vast amount of wealth this man must have created is insane. He didn't have any kids or anything no next in line? Or did did the fortune turn legitimate like so many families we don't know of.
you ever heard of john Roberts he says his real name is john Riccobono, he says his uncle was Joseph Riccobono. He was in the documentary cocain cowboys, bur before the drug smuggling he said he was an associate of the gambino family. just wanted to see if you ever heard of him as an associate I don't believe he was made
I dont like how John Gotti was always on TV and in $2000 suits. He was too arrogant. Also he took the top spot by killing the boss. He broke all the rules. Bad bad bad !
Blah blah blah. Carlo gambino killed a Boss Lucky luciano killed a Boss Albert anastasia killed a Boss Vito Genoves tried to kill a Boss Always on TV? Al capone? Please!
Only small date correction. I meant to say 2002 not 1992 in the death of John Gotti. Thanks for watching.
Hey Jeff, also in the picture, Peter Gotti can be seen. I remember Peter was in jail on federal
charges when John passed away, so it could've been an another occasion.
The real ones wat you meant Jeff you still the goat! 💯

Hey Jeff,
Once again you hit it out of the park !
Domenico is probably the most interesting mobster ever. Starts off with Tranfacante in Florida then moves to New York during the forming of the commission in the 30s then becomes a captain during the Anastasia era. This should be made into a series. Good job Jeff
Amen to that
Another excellently researched and well done podcast Jeff. One can only imagine if Jimmy Brown & Joe Arcuri took over the family and also kept Joe N. Gallo in his long kept spot where the family's direction would have went.
thanks for watching
In my opinion gallo still would have gotten that indictment so he would have went behind the wall. It’s still a interesting topic though
I love the way you truly said it stay in line play the game dont make no waves and just continue paying up and nobody will bother you..another great video keep these videos coming ...

We never did hear who the other CI was at the Ravenite. Mikey Scars said in the past he would give his idea of who it was but hasn’t as of yet.
"Daddy" Frank Diecidue progressed to Underboss of the Trafficante Family. He held a lot of influence and had a very interesting history.
i mentioned that
Michael, you should do a segment on Diecidue and show his grave, like how you did your Trafficante segment.
“Daddy “ was something that Tampa Tribune came up with. Nobody called him that, but you are correct.

@@Mob_Chats I will be doing more segments out at the L'Unione Italiana, and I'll certainly include the Diecidue's.
Thanks Jeff very enjoyable As. always more superlatives on the way 4 u can't wait 4. My next helping in the 5 families soap opera

I agree Jeff people need remember guys like the Acruri's, the Failia's and the Zappi's because they were the silent cogs in the family machine that made money. Have a good weekend

Mr Arcuri had Two Children a son Michael was never involved in anything and had a sister as well
Sweet
Interesting fact about Joe Arcuri..The gambinos represented the trafficantes and Joe Arcuri was the liaison between them
Tampa Bay is a strong strong area
