I came of age with this show. I was an adolescent when it first aired and if I really think back it provided an excellent reading list. Unfortunately it also created a false hope for what society could be. That town was a utopia, a jeweled city on a hill. I’ve been looking for it ever since
Great show. But like Kenny Rogers said, "you have to know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em". Don't do the last season. Wrap it up after Joel goes back to NY. Scrubs did the exact same thing and it's too bad to leave that taste in your mouth about shows that could have ended nicely. It's goofy to bring in characters that you try and get us to enjoy in a couple of episodes. On a sad note, Morrow wanted to leave or get a better contract, and at that point do what you did , ship him out to NY and end the show. It was a show about a NY doctor coming to Alaska to work as a doctor, leave it at that and end it.
I think it would have lasted at least 2 more years if Doctor Capra and his wife would have of been introduced and developed earlier. Instead the characters were thrown into the series as a Doctor Fleischman bickering duo.
Aww. Even the outtakes are fun to watch after all these years. Love all the characters, especially Marilyn.
That was such a great show.
Never imagined John Corbett was so goofy. Here he had a hard time staying in character.
My all-time favorite TV show.

I loved this video and I wish I could see it now
Great stuff! More please. Such a good show. Though the ending....
Shelly had the hardest acting part and was very good
It was a good time.
When TV was actually good, before the Dark Times, before Reality tv.

Excatley
John Corbett. Such a cutie 💓
"Unexposed footage" - in the lab? Or just previously unseen by most?
I think it would have lasted at least 2 more years if Doctor Capra and his wife would have of been introduced and developed earlier. Instead the characters were thrown into the series as a Doctor Fleischman bickering duo.
omg I forgot how HOT John Corbett is/was lol
He is married to "10's" Bo Derek, so I guess she recommended his cuteness.
I liked Mike Monroe. But I also liked Joel. Great show, the best!
@@CC-sunshine I agree with your take on the Mike Monroe character. To me, he didn’t fit the “vibe” of Cicely and I found him to be very annoying.
Damn
“Annette benning ? What you think ? “
Unexposed footage is a contradiction in terms.
Still in the camera or in the bin, right?
They’re mispronouncing Swarthmore.
Does it sound like Swarthmore?
LOL! Swarthmore is exclusively an undergraduate college. There are no grad students. Probably too much of an elitest joke.
Why was he flirting with the dr ? GoSh he was a dollnm.then. I was dissapointed to learn he,s really.not.smart like the D.J. he played
It's a character, the intelligence is a reflection of the writers, which is why I respect them so much for creating this gem of a show
