I loved to know there is a brand called “Sol de Janeiro “.

You describe scents very well.
Some words:
Cheirosa -> a girl that smells good, fragrant girl
Sol de Janeiro-> january sun
Beija-flor->hummingbird
Leite de coco-> coconut milk
Pipoca-> popcorn
Cheiro doce-> sweet smell
Água de coco-> coconut Water
“Água de Coco” was launched in november because it is almost summer in Brazil
I figured Cheirosa meant that. Thank you that makes so much sense. A girl that smelled good in that year that was encountered possibly? I think that might be somewhat the idea with the years. And I almost forgot those parts of the world are flipped on months that are summer and winter. That explains so much. Thank you.

I did some research because I was intrigued as well, but I read that : “Cheirosa ’62’ because 1962 was a big year for Brazil. The song “The Girl from Ipanema” was released, Brazil won the FIFA World Cup, the famed Havaianas launched and Bossa Nova hit the world stage. “ I guess it’s the same for the other numbers 🤭

39 is SO underrated. it got reformulated which im happy about bc i didnt like the popcorn note in the previous version but now it just smells like sweet amazing coconut milk!

I bought no 68 because of your review in one of your recent videos and I freaking luvvvv it. Sprayed it in Sephora and I kept getting whiffs of it everywhere I went omg it’s divine. I ordered the big bottle online immediately! I can’t wait for it to get here !!!

Yeah I agree about the 71 smelling like a total snack!?? The 71 and 39 are the best most sweet dessert smelling scents from the line!!! Im obsessed with them both and honestly feel like 39 may even be a bit MORE sweet and dessert like ....oh man it's so addictive!!!
I didn't read the comments before leaving mine so excuse me if I'm stating something that was already said, but the numbers on the body sprays are supposed to represent a monumental year in Brazil. There's Some type of significance in those years to Brazil / Brazilians
My obsession just started. I got 62 two weeks ago and just got Anitta and 68 today. It's been an hour of wearing Anitta and I'm getting that delicious vanilla bean right now. This is perfect. I don't typically like vanilla perfumes because they're too cloying on me but all of these body sprays have been great and I'm probably going to pick up more soon.

I am obsessed with Cheirosa 40. It’s pretty much become a top ‘can’t live without’ fragrance to me. Perfect combo of fruity/woody/vanilla. Layers with Valentino Donna Born in Roma like a dream! Also it smells just like 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods but I think it has even more longevity and sillage for a fraction of the cost! ✨
The 40 is my top favourite too, will be wearing it a LOT this coming autumn and winter

Cheirosa 39 is coconut 🌴 coconut 🥥 and coconuts! I love it, but I know many hate it…coz it smells like natural authentic coconut. It’s a very blended and non-synthetic smell. I highly recommend.

I trust your nose because your scent descriptions are really on point. although I wish you had described cheirosa 68 more. I've never smelt baccarat rouge or know what its notes are tbh!

Hi! I’m watching all of your videos and loving it! Something you said about the Anitta that came out in winter, I guess it’s because here in Brazil it was basically summer. So that propably is the explanation. Another thing is that its a line so good and its inspired in Brazil, but sadly here is very difficult to find any of those to buy. The 62 and de creams came for us to buy not so long ago. But all of this other ones you talk about, we can’t find then to buy, its really sad.

Sol de Janeiro make bomb fragrances and I get complimented almost every time I wear them. Every time I wear the Anitta spray, a random guy always ask what I’m wearing. The Sea & Sol (blue) gets a lot of male attention too. ‘62, ‘68, and ‘71 gets the most compliments from women.
I love cheirosa 39 ♥️♥️ it is absolutely delicious !!! It used to be my signature scent. When I started buying only cruelty free makeup, skincare and perfumes, I didn’t have many perfume option out there. Sol de janeiro body mist were one of the few option and at the time I didn’t like the original scent, I preferred the 39. Now I like them both but still prefer the 39, I got lots of compliments when I’m wearing it.

Cheirosa 39 is really good. It smells very coconutty, so if you like beachy, coconut scents, you'll like it. It's similar to Thank u Next but without the raspberry and rose notes. It is also very creamy.
You are so right about 40! It’s a gorgeous vanilla scent and the dry down is similar to a Dua Vanille Overload which is a dupe of Spiritueuse Double Vanille🥰😍

I was thinking about the summery smelling collab that came out in Dec -- that in the Southern Hemisphere that is their summer so that is probably why :-) Love your content -- keep it coming! PS my current Sol be Janeiro love is Tan Lines :-)
I also wear 62 in the winter, too. It smells absolutely gourmand and because of the pistachio it reminds me of sweets, and so I think it’s a good scent for fall and winter as well. 😊

obsessed with Cheirosa '71 🍪 i love wearing it in the F/W as well . i pair it with BBW Coconut Cream Pie & a teensy bit ( literally a spray or two ) of VS Amber Romance 🤤 especially around Thanksgiving time . its sooo so delicious . but definately heavy & sweet 🍪🍮🍯🌰🥧

I love the '39 but I am a coconut stan lol. I know a lot of people aren't a huge fan of that one, but also I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, especially when I wear the body cream. It smells like a coconut snack, so sweet.
I bought the 39, but couldn't get over the popcorn smell gave it to key daughter she's 24 she loves it!

Favourite is still the OG Cheirosa 62'. Next is 40' and then 71'... hoping to test 68' soon coz i tried and loved the cream.
I currently have 39 (the green one) and 62. I love them both! I just bought 71, Sea & Sol and Tan Lines off their website. Still waiting for them to get here, but definitely you should get 39- it’s one of the best imo.
After 1 YEAR I had your same experience but decided to macerate it and now… im in love! You have to give it time. Incomparable vanilla 🙏🏼🙏🏼 try it out! I hated it and burned my nose the first months.

Like you, I only bought the ‘68 Beija Flor body cream because I already own a couple of perfumes similar to BR 540. Ariana Grande Cloud and Banana Republic Rosewood Amor. The Banana Republic version is almost identical smelling to the Beija Flor cream.
P.S., I LOVE Tropical Nights. There’s a certain note to it that really gets me. I also enjoy layering it with ‘62, ‘39, or both.

I only had the classic Brazilian BumBum Cream (not the fragrance mist just the cream) and the Copacabana cream…..both smelled amazing but I prefer the Copacabana one…the regular one smelled like popcorn to me, and I’m not the only one who thinks that to. It’s not a bad smell, but I wouldn’t wanna just straight up smell like popcorn.
I have them all...71 and 68 are my favorites. But for a quick spritz any of them work with my body chemistry, thanks for your thorough review..

cheirosa 40 is literally the best thing i have ever smelled. it’s really sweet, but also not too sweet to still smell amazing. it’s good for any time of the year, and the scent lasts so long😍

I have the cherosa 39, to me it’s a coco butter, coconut but in a beautiful way. The dry down softens up to a bit deeper scent, I get compliments every time I wear it. It’s amazing mixing a couple of the different scents together too. To me the body butter in this has such an Amazing feel.some people say they smell popcorn with this scent , but I don’t at all. Love this video I’ve been curious about the other scents, I of Course love the original too🥰

Hi Ksenja! I'd really reccomend the coconut 39 one! I got it last week and I am literally obsessed. It's sweet, I also smell the praline a lot, it's warm but fresh at the same time(?), like a summer paradise beach; to me it's mouthwatering and perfect for summer! Love your videos, you make me buy so many perfumes and I am not even mad at it ahahah Love xx

It might be that the Anitta one came out in winter for you guys (assuming you're in the US) because it's summer for us in the south hemisphere.
39 smells like coconut butter popcorn I can't stand it! Man I was excited about tropical nights...but I've heard to many people say they don't like it. I'm still going to smell it but I've lowered my expectations. My favorite is 40!
i got the 40 and it smells so good so sweet and warm. it also last really long, i only spray it on my hair for once and 2 days later i can still smell it

For me Cheirosa 39 smells Like coconut macaroons. It's a traditional Christmas Cookie here in Germany. It's very very sweet and smells a little bit like caramellized coconut. So, Like Cheirosa 71, you will smell like a walking snack. I can only wear it in the winter and even than I have to be in the mood for it. Love your Videos and the detailed descriptions of your perfumes and bodymists. 🥰

I fell in love with the one in collaboration with Anitta but I realized that it was a limited edition only too late. Do you know if I can buy it somewhere online? ( I’m from Italy) That is one of my favorite fragrances and I would be happy to find even another bottle more somewhere.
40 is my favorite…sometimes I mix it with Chloe and i get so many compliments…I have 39…I also love that so scent but you have to really coconut…it’s like a sweet coconut smell…some people say they also smell popcorn in it but that might be the old formulation however I smelled both and they both smell similar and I pick up a little bit of a popcorn smell too which I personally love…it’s mainly a sweet creamy coconut scent
I’m a true coconut lover and the coco cabana smelled like parsley and disgusting. I was so happy buying it. Gave me headaches and had to return 😞.
@@valerief5810 I definitely don’t smell any parsley at all…I recently picked up the bbq coconut cream pie and that coconut smell gives me a headache and I’m not sure what exactly why but everyone seems to like that one
They reformulated it to get rid of the popcorn

About two weeks ago went to Sephora just to smell everything on this brand. I have never but one product from this line. Don’t know where to start but I am guessing right now after watching your video I think I am going to get Brazilian crush the original great video by the way.

The Brazilian crush lotion and body mist actually smell pretty different, The lotion is more sweeter, But the mist is more settle. Ethier way they are great scents and i cant wait to start 8th grade wearing this perfume all day 😩

I'm a HUGE gourmand lover; the cheirosa 71 is nice but just a TAD cloying for me. I think it's the white chocolate which I've never been a huge fan of. It's kinda nauseating at times, especially when it's hot. It's still nice I just gotta be careful because I get migraines and I deal with chronic nausea because of my stomach issues. The Tropical Nights one REALLY disappointed me *BIG TIME* . I didn't get nearly as much Vanilla as I was hoping for and promised.

I have some questions:
1.Are they only for the body like body mists or can you also use them for clothes like a perfume?
2.Does the 62 stay long? I saw some people say that it lasts all day and some other say that it doesn't last long
I think they’ve only collaborated with Anitta because she is Brazilian ! But i do think it would be cool if they collaborated with more artists
Which one is the best long last mist for summer? I love vanilla, coconut and just creamy scents in general but sometimes with the heat it can just be too much and I don't want to asphyxiate people

I just Cheirosa 62 when I was looking for a good pistachio fragrance. I loved it so much I spent $80 on the actual perfume. And omg it lasts forever. Even on skin. I wish the perfume came in all the different scents. It's one of the best longest lasting I've ever used. Literally two sprays and I can still smell it on myself the next morning
I just blight ordered tropical nights bc of the hype. I hope I enjoy it! We seem to like the same types of fragrances so now I’m nervous haha

Anitta is from Brazil, which is mostly in the southern hemisphere so they might've been in summer or at least in a warmer spot than the northern hemisphere was
