Thank you. This was the clearest and easiest to understand video on this I've seen... And Ive been watching videos for like 3 days trying to learn and get the confidence to do my own nails since my natural nails are a disaster
Thank you so much for your kind words! Your encouragement inspires us to create more videos like these. 😊 Feel free to watch as many of our videos as you like on our channel, and don't forget to follow our social media pages. We offer lots of tutorials and useful information there too :)
This video has awesome information. My problem is if you don't get the sidewalls completely covered your nails come out misshaped. Then I have to add more polygel and freehand form. You do this so well!
I'm gonna tell you something cause this. Is my first time ever trying? And I'm gonna literally order it. I was gonna say. I very much appreciate all the details you've given clear step-by-step process detailed. The only thing is I did not hear you say anything about using the filer. Which I think is important, they say. To dry up the nail along with alcohol
At the 7:09 mark, you say, "This is what the nail should look like after it has been cured. As you can see, the sidewalls are clean, and the cuticle area is neat." Except in that shot, you can very clearly see the polygel has cured (very cleanly, but it's still there) onto the cuticle. And then in the next shot at 7:12, you show how it should look after filing, shaping, and applying top coat. I so wish you had shown how you cleaned this up as perfectly as you did, because that is where I am currently struggling. I have an e-file gettng delivered today that I think should help, but for the sake of learning, can you share how you so *perfectly* cleaned up the cured spillage? It really is lovely; you've done an amazing job.
Thank you for watching! The shot at 7:12 shows the polygel fresh off the dual form, without any filing or shaping yet. If you'd like to see how we buff the polygel after removing it from the dual form, you can watch it here - ua-cam.com/video/sKoO5gRhtQU/v-deo.htmlsi=50gBDcHcyNM24_ct&t=542 and ua-cam.com/video/7YsvbG-sDLM/v-deo.htmlsi=Ze2oIRTZ9Z7HcJkH&t=383 . Hi, I love this video and it helped me do my set successful for the first time. I did have a problem with my thumb. All of my dual forms are too small and I tired to bend it but it didn't work. Any suggestions? Can you also do a video on what to do if you forgot to smooth out the underside? I forgot on two nails and I filed them down but I just want to make sure that was ok and I did it the right way. Thanks
Thank you for watching! I'm so happy to hear you had success on your first try. If a dual form is too small, you can still use it by applying poly gel directly to your nail as usual, then filling in the gaps with another layer of poly gel. I’ll be making a video on this soon. As for smoothing out the underside, it's best to use an electric file with a needle bit. Remember, it's much easier to clean up before the gel cures, so try to smooth it out beforehand. I hope this helps! Be sure to check out our next video, where I'll explain everything in more detail :)

I just did a set for the first time yesterday and I applied it as thin as she did and all my tips starting snapping off the next day how do you avoid this without making the nail too thick ?
Hi, we're here to help. Could you let us know if you are using dual forms to create the extensions? If they snap off, it might be due to using too little product. Are you making your nails longer than shown in the video? Longer nails require more product to hold the extension properly. As this is your first time, it's normal for it not to be perfect. Don't worry! Keep practicing until you find the right amount of product for your desired length. We've created another video for beginners that might be helpful: ua-cam.com/video/sKoO5gRhtQU/v-deo.html
@@glowtipsofficial yes dual forms , and no actually a little shorter than this , I can't seem to get the amount right on the apex in one application I'm having to go back and add extra to the nail after the form comes offb
@@Truckerbabe89 Don't be discouraged! It's perfectly fine to go back and add a little more product to your nail. Nail technicians do this all the time, so don't worry if you need to revisit your nail to add more product. Keep trying and add a little more gel each time on the dual form until you find the sweet spot of product used. The goal is to get enough product on your nail to ensure it lasts for 2-3 weeks. Getting the perfect amount of polygel the first time isn't the priority right now; with more practice, you'll get there eventually. Keep trying! 💪

Hi, to properly wash a nail brush, start by wiping off any excess product using a lint-free wipe or paper towel. Next, dip the brush into a brush cleaner or 70-90% isopropyl alcohol/ slip solution and gently swirl it around to dissolve the product. After cleaning, rinse the brush with lukewarm water to remove any remaining cleaner or alcohol. Once rinsed, gently reshape the bristles with your fingers to ensure they maintain their shape. Lay the brush flat on a clean paper towel or lint-free cloth to air dry, avoiding standing it upright to prevent water from seeping into the handle and causing damage. Finally, once the brush is dry, store it with a protective cap or in a brush holder to keep the bristles in good condition. Regular cleaning will extend the life of your nail brush and ensure optimal performance. Hope this helps :)

Did it manage to dry properly in the end? As long as it dries well, even if it takes longer, it's not wrong. If it doesn't cause lifting or breakage, then you're on the right track.
