    A few things that have stuck with me for years.
    1. Stop worrying about the long term goals. There are far too many variables to be able to produce a clear outcome. Set lots of short term goals, it will keep you motivated in the now and you will feel like you have failed if you don't reach your daily/weekly goals. This is huge advice if you're a procrastinator like me where you can just shove off long term goals because there's, "plenty of time"
    2. Don't set your goals based on your physical appearance. Ever. Set them based on consistency in your training. For example, set a goal for the week to be AT THE GYM EVERY DAY NO MATTER WHAT. Sit on your phone, jog on the treadmill. It doesn't matter. Just be in the gym and start building the routine. Routine is KEY.
    and lastly this quote:
    "Stop trying to perfect a habit you haven't even started yet."
    Stop trying to min/max your workouts. Some days will be awesome and some days will suck. If you go into your nutrition/training like it's a waste unless you are being 110% efficient you are wrong. You need to enjoy the good days and embrace the bad days. No one in the history of body building had perfect days every day at the gym. Get there. Train your best. Eat what you CAN. Build that routine. Consistency. Is. Key.
    Love yall, keep it up.

    That was excellent advice Noel. I would add this, unless you plan to be on a competition stage leave the PED's to those can do it and compete because of their genetics. Just lift, grow and be happy your are improving your health, and setting a great example for your kids and to be a better & longer living husband for the wife/girlfiend

      Are there natural competitions?

    • @wt8213
      @wt8213 2 роки тому +6

      There should be no bad stigma around PED's. People need to man up and be honest and open about it. As long as your not using to to cheat in a sport or competition I see no reason to shame anyone. You should be able to make your own decisions with your own body. Now obviously get educated and understand the irreversible side effects as it's no joke what these things do to your body. But on that note nothing is truly natural anymore. Going to the gym isn't natural. It's a simulation to grown muscle that doesn't exist in the natural world. With modern day science why not utilize what we have at our disposal?

      @WilliamB0878 2 роки тому

      @@amartya9034 There are natural bodybuilding competitions where use of PEDs is monitored and prohibited. You can look these up, and also look up the off-competition physique of the competitors. This should give you a good idea of what is naturally attainable, but you have to remember you'll be looking at the best genetics as well, so most natural results will trend lower.

    I've been lifting since 2009. Game changers I've learnt over the years are, moderate or even light weights at ridiculous amounts of reps is many times more efficient at building muscle size. It also trains the tendon and joint strength much better and drastically reduces risk of injury.
    Try what I call Epic Pyramid sets (EP sets), you would do 1, 2 at most in a workout. Starting at a super light weight you can do for 50 reps. Eg. Bicep Curls:
    5 Pounds - 50 reps (No rest between ramp-up sets, just a few deep breaths)
    10 pounds - 40 reps
    15 pounds - 30 reps
    20 pounds - 20 reps
    25 pounds - 10 reps
    (1-2 minute rest)
    20 pounds - 20 reps (No rest between ramp-down sets, just a few deep breaths)
    15 pounds - 30 reps
    10 pounds - 40 reps
    5 pounds - 50 reps
    On the supplement side the game changers for me are DHEA 5 mg twice per day, Pregnenolone 100mg twice per week. These are prohormones, technically PEDS, do not recommend anyone to take without serious research and consideration.
    And then the most game changer supplement for me, mega dose Thiamine (B1) 1.5-2gm per day along with a standard B complex.

    I followed a lot of fitness guys back in the day and unfollowed them all when I started to see what they were actually doing: selling "natural" dreams while taking gear. Noel is the only guy I recently discovered and that I follow, because he keeps it real.

    The it "takes time"-advice is the most important, dont think months, think years! Even if you are genetically gifted, it will take years to look build.
    There really are no shortcuts, if someone gains a lot of lean mass in a span of 3-6months, be veeery sceptic.

    I hope I can grow up as a man to one day be just as you mentally with my character because I may not get as buff as you but the teachings shall stay with me
    You're the true definition of positive masculinity

    Noel is the nicest and most down to earth person I have ever, and probably ever will, meet. The fact that he creates so much helpful, impactful and enjoyable content is so great but sadly so rare to find these days.
    He is doing everything perfectly, from the kind of content he makes, to the way he interacts with his followers.
    I aspire to one day have only a fraction of your influence and mindset Noel!
    Cheers

    I wish I had found your channel 2 years ago. It would have helped me so much. I have come quite far with very little support, and I wish I had support or at least guidance like this when I started my health and fitness path.

    Great stuff man. I think you are one of the few that say the real stuff and doesn't try and sell us something! The fact that you say before buying diets and programs do your own research, says it all about the person you are! 🙏🙌Well done. You make the videos short but very valuable.
