I appreciate it! 😁
Any plugin with a "Doom" paremeter is a win in my book.
Instant win.
I could tell immediately that it was a binging with babish reference, perfectly captured the energy. Nice one dude!!
I rarely laugh, but that opening was hilarious. Thinking about how small group overlaps audio/food nerds makes it even more hilarious. BTW both channels are awesome!
Thanks to tutorials like these, I've been able to push out 40+ sample packs and won't be stopping anytime soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
Damn that's awesome. Happy to be of service!
Is that literally just self promo?
@@noname-ng6sj Nope, just stating a fact. Not linking or spamming anybody.
@@noname-ng6sj Could it be figurative self-promo?
@@noname-ng6sj I think self promotion is noble if you’ve actually done something :)
That rhythmic texture was so good! really cool technique!! I will combine this with vocal chops to see how it'll sound
Oh! That's a good idea!
I’ve recently discovered your channel and want to compliment you on your excellent videos. Your sound design processes and workflow are so completely different than how I typically work and your videos provide so much value. Thank you
I love how you took the sample and made it into something really special. The texture at 8 minutes is amazing would be perfect for a breakdown or intro to ambient or Psytrance.
i CACKLED @ "reverb w/ babish" Definitely worth a subscription
"What we're doing here is hitting the random button until we get good results" - my new answer to people asking me how life is going
Good stuff man, wasn't aware of their plugins!
A solid motto.
Love your sound design tips. I recently started programming basses in vital and enjoying it. Might try some of these tips with samples. I always love random buttons.
These always line up perfectly with Monday morning break, thanks!
Once again a great video and also very interesting plugins! Good job venus theory and noise engineering! 👏
Thanks so much for your great videos Cameron! Wishing you all the best!
Super cool techniques here. Thanks for the awesome tutorials you do!
That sounds SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! I made something like this in a song last year, lost the project, and couldn't remember how I did it because I was randomly playing around in Ableton and forgot to save the rack lol. But nevermind, this sounds so much better than the version I did, gotta get these plugins cause they seem very interesting
Beautiful. Love the experimentations.
We’ve been looking for these sounds especially the rhythmic texture design. You have pleased us
Wow. Thanks so much for this
thank you so much
you helped me a lot of with this video
I feel like you just put my sound design skills on another level
Man thank u for your tips , that help me to think outside of the box and to change my vision ! Great video
Awesome video! Thank you so much for going through your process of creating these cool sounds.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The rhythmic texture design especially, so great
Great video! Thanks for this.
Yes indeed, Homemade soundpacks on the horizon. Thanks for the Gems (especially the tip about the limiter when randomizing for new sounds).
Pro tip from one too many "and let's hear it....HWHEJFEKFIIFKRJFIFKE" incidents.
WONDERFULL ! This video is another gift u are giving to us.
So ... THANKS firstly. And, a😀 lot of new knowledgement here, too.
Great stuff man
Awesome video, i am trying these asap.. cheers fella,
love yer channel man
Howdy ! I tumbled over you today and I have a lot of fun due to your megadry style to presentate your content - wich is awesome !!
I think that I can learn a lot from your channel ... Thanks for being here ! Kind Regards from Germany, Dude
Brilliant video !!
Thank you very much!
That final sound really reminds me of Skateboard wheels on rough conrete. Perhaps a Skater tune!
Enjoyed this one. Had to follow suit.
Some good ideas man cheers 👌😁☮
Love your videos! Very inspiring content :) Thanks!
Glad to be of service!
Thanks!
You sir are a genius thank you🙏🏾
Pure gold🙏🙏
My 'Watch Later' playlist is filled with your videos lol keep them coming, greatly appreciated! 🙏
10/10 content! Inspiring and helpful! Those plugins sound great btw! Any tips for the noise engineering oscillators on the Microfreak?
That rhythmic texture @7:50 is awesome!
Even better when fed through some granular stuff!
very cool plugins!
Any videos that describe your audio vocal chain? Best I’ve heard!
Whaa?! So damn awesome thank you
Man I just love your videos so much, they inspire me to create a masterpiece every single time
Unfortunately, havent done one like ever, but one day it'll be good!
Sometimes it's a matter of learning how to not make one a thousand times first!
Genius!!
I learned something new 😁
This guy is on a different level !
Hell Yeah..thats cool
Fricking insane dude lol
I wish I found this channel earlier
10:27 the final wavetable just sounded like my coffee machine :D
Very nice and very inspiring video - thanks!
can we get a mastering tutorial with psp plugins?
Finally someone mentioning PSP, they're underrated but I use them a lot, still, after all these years.
You give so much motivation to create sounds, time and time again. One question, how to run these plugins in Reason since, whenever we present vst3 plugins into the daw, Reason decides to kiss the sky. Why?
Thanks, Really like the rhythmic texture idea! Could you share where this idea comes from? I would like to dig a bit more into the subject.
will watch later thanks as always
Man, that rhythmic texture was amazing! I was wondering what exactly you were doing on the keyboard at @7:04 though - I assume just playing random notes at a slow-ish pace and letting the sampler run through the sample? Great video, gave me loads of ideas!
Cakewalk/Sonar allows the user to randomize any plug-in. Whatever parameters the plug-in exposes to automation can be randomized
7:36 oh my goood the level up
7:43 is so rad, damn!
Bro yoru got the Nicest voice of all
interesting VT..The sound at13:20 reminds me of a setting I used with my Ensoniq ASR10 efx section..I ran live signals though it or ran signals through my analog synth..I am curious to see what can happen with VCV, BUZZ, and other software like you use, mixed with synths/samplers..
The way you are able to manipulate the drums in that plugin is nothing like I've ever seen, Is there any other plugins that do that as well? 😲😲😲
Holy shit that second granular verb wash thing is beautiful.
Have you by chance made a video showing/explaining techniques of how to cut and create drum/percussion/rhythm loops?
Fyi, i have a good bit of experience with engineering and recording but almost entirely with capturing and processing live instruments (electric and acoustic). No midi, grid, or programming experience.
Cursus makes it look like you are working on a pip boy :)
I do a lot of randomization on the HG Fortune synths, which are already much too complex and unexplained to use like a regular synth
13:00 "I just hit random a couple times and got this..."
a synth that sounds better than anything I've ever made
MeldaProduction FreeFX Bundle in tha house!
the carnage meme never gets old xD
Nice nice
Seeing you work with these plugins makes me want to try to get over my problem with DAWs. I find that if I introduce a computer into my workflow, it completely kills my creative momentum. It's not any specific software, I get this with Ableton, VCVRack, even recording with Audacity can just stop me dead. I'm not even sure what it is, maybe it's because I work with computers all day. I love my modular but damn I could save a ton of money if I could just use plugins.
wow. its amazing what you can do with just some random sounds.
What oscilloscope vst is that? That's exactly what I've been looking for!
Reverb tips. The Plateu reverb from VCV Rack (paid plugin yes) is available for free in Cardinal (an open source fork of VCV that runs as a plugin in a DAW) and sounds absolutely gorgeous.
Also Cardinal. Free open source version of VCV rack that is cross platform and runs as a plugin.
Plateau is a free module anyway, so it's already completely free if you use the standalone version of VCV.
@@VirtualModular Sure, but my point was that the VCV VST version is not free, whereas Cardinal is a free vst version of Rack. (if you only want to run plateu as a send effect in your daw for example)
@@cholst1 ah yes, that's true. I bought the Pro version to support the developers and mainly still use standalone anyway. But Plateau is well worth running as a VST send FX so that's a fair point.
How does one know what synths to get if they can all have the ability to make the same sounds. or is it all about the presets. Thank You.
Good God. There's more plugins now than actual songs.
What sampler is that you are using?
The intro is a vibe LMAO
How do you bounce that quick in Ableton?
The new Korg Wavestation is rather amazing.
Okay, would really appreciate any tips on creating something similar to what was randomized at 13:06. If you have videos on this already, feel free to link them.
What was the name of the tuner you used?
13:27 I have an idea for an entire track based on this already
Omg you should be on radio. That voice.
My favorite part was at 12:26 when you accidentally started communicating with the 9 hells.
using ruina all the time at the moment
I'm convinced that You're insane🤣💛
Well....probably.
Ableton has a max device that can randomize any midi cc message as well as detect and list those messages without manually putting them in. you can turn off randomization to any parameter such as volume, which, to me, is why I think its pretty gosh damn sweet.
also sick sick tips dog
You have inadvertently may have shown the intelligent ones who poke around here, how to effectively communicate a resonant vibrational sound pending approval of said client, into a great start to a well tuned and tasteful production starter. Id love to express, somehow exactly what I mean more contextually, this video just might inspire a video of mine to further elaborate exactly what I mean! Great stuff buddy, love your work.
You have inadvertently may have
@@ziegev5864 yikes, thank you
Just use "experienced" instead of "intelligent", otherwise it comes off as super pompous.
I literally was watching the Razer memes right before this video. KINDA creepy to see it pop up but funny to see that we aren't letting that meme die so soon
2:24 how did you just stretch the clip like that?
we need more randomize buttons in plugins
Do I need more plugins? Nyes
What software is he using? It it protool?
Can you make a video using the new Sampler Cr8 by Waves?
Reggards 😎
2:33
"almost make like a bassline" xD
Proper
Hello, First thank's for this video. So nice good things here, I mean it, it's really great. But I've a question, not relative to technical stuff. I'm french, so my english is just crap, but what mean buccaronies ???? Or buckaroonies ? buckaroo is kind of cow-boy ? What do you mean by this :) You will say this is a Music channel myfriend and this is true, but anyway, I will be delighted to know :)
Fred
No more cubase? Is bitwig good for sounddesign?
Outside doing scoring work and ad work I don't use Cubase that much these days. My plugins seem to crash it quite a bit, and Bitwig has gotten a lot more features that make up for what I used to use Cubase for. For video/picture work though, Cubase is still #1 for me. As well, for mixing, I still prefer the flow of Cubase.
Reverbing with Babish :)
👨🍳
I got an entirely different set of plugins in my free pack. Is this a US only thing?
Might want to reach out to their support if you're having issues downloading them. That's odd.
The free "freequel" pack is Sinc Vereor, Virt Vereor, and Ruina (two synths and a distortion mentioned a couple of times in the video). Bundle 1 (available for purchase) is Basimilus Iteritas, Cursus Vereor, and Desmodus (Percussion, synth, reverb). If you have any issues of with the plugins, please do get in touch!
