This is just beautiful. The way those two actors played their characters, it was so obvious how close they were in real life Lovely song, with beautiful images Little Joe forever Lynne
I remember watching that the first time it was on it was so wrenching it took me years to watch it again and to see it again it's just heartbreaking for the both of them...
It is very very touching!!!!! Thanks a lot for this great tribute to these two dears Cartwrights!!! Joe and his pa!! A great JPM of emotion!!!! Wonderful!!!!
This is a BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE a BEAUTIFUL SONG for one of the BEST father & son relationships ever on one of the BEST shows ever put on television and one of my all time favorite shows the song fits Ben & Little Joe perfectly and yes it's definitely the perfect fit to show the love between a father and his son and that is one of the many reasons I still love this show all these years later 💖 #1 Little Joe fan FOREVER
yes BnzaGal, I have been a fan of Bonanza since it started and of Mike Landon. Normally I have watched most episodes more than once but I found "Forever" the saddest one to watch and have only watched it once, I had to switch it off because I was crying so much.....it's also a testament to Mike Landon and Lorne Greene's acting.
i love all of the bonanza episodes i love the casts too it's one of the best westerns.a tribute to Ben Cartrights family and to the Ponderosa Ranch ka kite
El cariño y el respeto que se tenían era auténtico y real. No necesitaban actuarlo.
If you are a Bonanza lover sledge159, Forever is a MUST for you. It is the saddest episode at the end and I cried my eyes out. I haven't watched it since because I find I just cant watch the end again, it is far too painful.
Have you seen the David Dortort interview? He said Michael Landon found a father in Lorne Greene. Very moving. So the love you see between them isn't acting.
@sledge159 The very last scene is from Forever. IMO it was one of the saddest and most beautiful Joe/Pa Moment in the entire series. You can watch it here on UA-cam.
@ProvocativeKitty The Quest, Desert Justice, The Stranger, The Truckee Strip, A Rose for Lotta, The Firstborn, The Storm, Forever, Ride the Wind, The Gift, The Trap, The Fighters, and Marie, My Love. These are at least most of them.
@sledge159 It's from The Truckee Strip which you can watch here. I've also made a story in song to that episode if you want to watch it you can find it in my channel.
@KhaosTheoryx So very sorry I could not get back to you on this question before now but I have been in Africa for the past two months and unable most the time to get internet access! I believe both of the clips you asked about (2:56 and 3:17) are from "The Fighters". It's a good episode to watch-but of course I say that about nearly every Bonanza ep! 2:56 was a transition between the clip of "The Trap" and "The Fighters" so I wasn't sure... Hope I answered your question... I'll stop talking now
It is from Ponderosa Birdman, Season 6. It's a funny scene, because Pa tells Joe about how much faith he has in him, and gives this moving talk only to end up saying something along the lines of: "So I have great faith in you, Joseph, that you will get all these stalls cleaned" . The look on Joe's face is great!
If you still want to know the clip at 2:15 is from the episode titled ( THE GIFT ) not sure what season but the episode is called The Gift and the reason I know is because It's one of my favorite episodes . Great episode .
Sorry I took so long to get back to you. 1:52 is from... I can't remember! But considering what they are all wearing it has to be from one of the first seasons. Sorry I can't be more help :(
The Quest, Desert Justice, The Stranger, The Truckee Strip, A Rose for Lotta, The Storm, The Magnificent Adah, The Firstborn, Forever, Ponderosa Birdman, Ride the Wind, Denver McKee, The Newcomers, The Dowry, The Auld Sod, The Gift, The Fighters, The Trap, Marie, My Love, Cutthroat Junction and The Code
This is just beautiful. The way those two actors played their characters, it was so obvious how close they were in real life
Lovely song, with beautiful images
Little Joe forever

Little Joe was sooo sweet, sensitive, beautiful and sometimes funny and very sad, the hero od my childhood.TU 4 this!
You can see Michael Landon and Lorne Greene shaking in that last hug as they're crying over Dan Blocker.
I remember watching that the first time it was on it was so wrenching it took me years to watch it again and to see it again it's just heartbreaking for the both of them...

It passed from acting to real grief..they were both truly grieving on screen the passing of Dan Blocker who played Hoss.
Gotta love all the Pa and Joe tributes i do . They are the best & my favorites. ♡
