La vida de Michael London fue muy injusta con un ser tan sensible y único que mereció todo lo mejor pero, su espíritu soñador, luchador y perseverante le ayudó a encontrar en sus personajes todo lo que en la vida real, especialmente en sus primeros años no pudo tener. En Bonanza. Ver a Joe haciendo y siendo todo lo que cualquier joven hace y es, con el apoyo incondicional y amoroso de un padre como Ben y dos hermanos incomparables como Adam y Hoss que lo acompañaban, ayudaban, protejian y educaban desde el respeto y el cariño como base, debió ser un bálsamo para un chico que sufrió tanto y que durante 14 años vimos crecer y hacerse hombre, en parte grecias a la magia de la televisión y esas escenas tan únicas que le habrán permitido reir, soñar, lloran, enojarse y dejar fluir todas aquellas emociones que talvés su realidad no se lo permitió. Esas risas y esas lágrimas debieron ser un alivio para el alma. Creo que él veía a Lorne como el padre que habrá deseado muchas veces.Los abrazos, consejos, miradas, caricias, besos y hasta enojos que recibió de aquel señor que hacía de su padre, los habrá agradecido y disfrutado mucho. Y, creo que más de un televidente lo envidió por elo y habrá deseado también estar en su lugar.
