- I've been playing about with Power of the Daleks again and have decided to occasionally upload 1-minute clips at a time for this story in between doing The Celestial Toymaker and The Crusade.
With this minute I have been using existing off air Super 8 filmed recordings and have extended the scenes using AI. This scene doesn't have the sharpness of the others, however, I have enjoyed watching the super 8 scenes been brought to life.

Here is the playlist for The Crusade I have been working on.
• Doctor Who - The Crusa...
Thank you....
It's amazing what one man can do! I've seen another version of this online but this is obviously extended. Thanks so much!
We have a right to see his first story, us fans collectively. Particularly the regeneration scene!
Thank you, that’s so kind of you to say. Yes, we need to see that first Troughton story the best way we can. I do like the BBC animation though but I do appreciate the fact that you understand I am just a one man operation and can’t work miracles. 😊
Grate work you are improving a lot
Thank you. I think I liked the last one a little bit better as there was more to work with but it’s still fun to do and see the results. The next bit will be a bit more tricky. Will need to look at the scripts to see what is going on as the photos only tell part of the story.
Mate I love the fact you take.your time to get these right. The results show this.
Very cool.
Thank you. Appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I really enjoy doing them and sharing them. :-)
Yes. I've noticed that as well. If I was rich, I'd be throwing money at him to do the whole story and more! I love seeing talent on UA-cam!
Amazing work like always, a while back I saw you post these on Ian Levine's FB group (which was conveniently when I found your channel) and I was wondering if you have considered offering these reconstructions (edited together once done) to Ian so it will save him money? You don't have to of course but I believe it can save a bunch of time and money from him and his recon team.
Hi. I have been in talks with Ian. TBH Ian’s Ai Recons are so good and he’s very specific about how they are produced. They’re much more detailed than I have time to do. In the meantime my efforts are happy stop gaps till he gets round to them. But thanks for the suggestion. Always appreciated. 😊
Have you considered trying to use the animations in addition to the telesnaps to see what kind of results you can get?
I feel like the additional visual information from the animations could be useful in cases like these.
I can do animation however the process is very laborious and can be difficult to get right. AI speeds up the process incredibly. Admittedly, the results aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but the software gets better all the time.
@@kaptainuke I meant feeding the BBC animations into the AI as well as the telesnaps to help the AI reconstruct certain scenes.
@@MrTikitomboAh, I see what you mean. Never actually thought of that. Thanks. Could definitely be something in that. 😊
@@kaptainuke Hope it helps the process! I'll look forward to seeing the results
