  • In today's video I finish pulling the copper out of the massive rotors and stators. I took some work but we got all the copper out,. This was a learning process, I now know what upgrades need to be done to make the process more effective & efficient. Thanks for watching! #electric #electricmotor #recycling #scrapping #scrap #copperwire #aluminum #diy #projectshopfl #copperking #led #ledlights #lighting #generator #statorwindingmachine #electricmotor

    You might have viewer who is familiar with the various coating on the copper coils. In the assembly factory the coils are obviously in a prefabricated state then the entire unit is press fit ? Freezing might be a solution?
    Btw when your flame cutting and it’s dripping hot alloy.Hot molten alloy and water Do Not mix. Explosive. Just be aware, Maybe you know that. Keep it guys.

    I know that back in 2011 the state of Texas passed a law that said the scrap yards could nolonger buy burnt copper and they could not buy cut up A/C units anymore and that was to help cut down on the stealing of copper and A/C units.

    Dude that is awesome. But it was binding on top where you have it held. I think it mashes it down just enough. To keep it from pulling out. Otherwise you got it all at once.

    Hard work. Like the press. Have you considered a removable fence to go down in front of the material and maybe a safety chain around the press frame and your puller jaws. That thing could be deadly.

  • @alphonseroy421
    @alphonseroy421 8 місяців тому +2

    You really need to weld a turn buckle on the handles of the stator wrecker puller to get a better hold on the copper to pull it it out for sure !! That will
    Probably cut down on your processing time no doubt !!

    Tim from Canada watching your videos and you are having problems with your.. jaws of life they’re trying to pull out your copper plugs.. if your jaws or bigger, and a little longer, you might be able to get some more power but you were using a small pair of jaws to do a big work invest in a bigger pair of jaws for your work you were not getting the power you need because you were using a small pair of jaws on your motor mounts. He seems to be buying an off a lot of scrap maybe invest some of that money into new tools you sell and buy and buy and sell. Try to buy some tools that is going to help you and your work your next big paycheque go somewhere see if they have the equipment you need, when you are using for equipment to do your work, you were losing time and money? On these jobs if you invest a little bit of money in your work for whatever work you do said a little bit of money aside each time you go to the scrapyard five or 10% of your take home you do this five or six times if you get some good money, then you can invest in some good tools
