Well here it is Guys, the updated amount for the stack in 2024 which was a bit more than I expected. Now I go off current market value of the metals not scrap value. These are obviously worth more to me than current market value, but I just can't help myself and love stacking it up. & I'm very glad the floor is reinforced and has extra thick concrete. Anyway guys sit back relax Enjoy the video and I hope to see all your beautiful people next Friday. You could save a mountain of time cleaning up those ingots if you had a 2x72" belt grinder with a surfacing belt on it. It's basically a coarse scotch brite pad in belt form. I use mine on aluminum ingots i've cast and they come out looking incredible. Plus you don't get little metal wires stuck in you.
I have to smile every time you say it’s hot as hell. Our hot as hell this summer was between 110° and 118° and it was a long, long summer. Now at the end of our winter, 75° today, I’m not looking forward to another summer that hot.

You clearly do this for the enjoyment of it. That comes through with just about every video I’ve so far. Do you keep track of your time melting the metal? Or just have a round about idea on how many hours it took to accumulate and melt down your stash?
19 mins in "That's a sandwich" please excuse the "Crocodile Dundee" comparison. LOL Now you have all the bars cleaned up in the treasure room, you just need to attach the vice to the bench now. 😁 I still think melting the ice is one of my favorite parts. 👍👍👍👍👍
I’m looking to build my first forge this weekend, ran across this and I am stoked! Currently work with a lot of discarded plumbing copper, brass and electric motors, even high voltage contact switches, I have 300lbs of scrap copper and brass that needs melted, not many contacts/ breakers, but they come in every month and have silver buttons. I guess I even see circuit boards here and there, not sure how to separate the gold from those but I’ll find out. Really, I just need to turn it not ingots, so it stacks nicer then how it is now, taking up two large bins in the garage. Thanks for sharing!
For real, i love your videos, your editing skills are amazing, and i am absolutely addicted to your videos! I can spend hours watching your stuff and i enjoy each seconds. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us .

I know it sounds like im a terrible guy but know joke , nobody will buy this metal from you . Just try it out , go take in a batch and see what they say . Not being a jerk just warning you . Nobody will trust the bars are pure copper . Mixing brass is a bad idea it turns the entire lump useless to manufacturers

I love the fun and etiquette you have I like it because you haven't changed in years. This indicates that you are not acting, but rather it is natural and real pleasure. I was frightened the moment I pulled one small wire at a time. I thought it would end after a month. 😆 All the best to you, my friend 🖐 I have been following you for years from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Exactly right. If you were to do it the way I do you lose all profit in time and gas, but people don’t understand that for some reason. Apart from that scrapyards don’t even like ingots or coins, they want the raw material or they’re not interested.
Ever since you moved into your new house, the landscaping looks phenomenal! It does not look cheap!! I just spend a pretty penny on landscaping on my own home.. ooof. What a beautiful home! With that heat, I wonder if you have it in you to make a pool in your property haha.. or at least one of those portable pools to cool off a bit.
i just had an idea for a useful tool for your operation. have 2 slotted spools that counter rotate next to each other and when you feed in the insulation on one side and the copper strand on the other itll pull the 2 apart and spool them at the same time and when done you just slide off the spools and load the next wire and keep going. you could maybe incorperate a automated sizer type stripper that can slice and strip in a single operation. i bet you have the means to build such a machine, and im sure there are other improvements that could be implimented to save time and effort.
I know the heat wave in Australia has been a challenge, but frankly I'm jealous. I walked out of my house in Wisconsin this morning to 11 degrees F in the pre-dawn.
Yes we’ve got another few days just hitting us again. It’s just clicked over 40.5°C and they reckon it’ll hit 43 in the next few hours. Unfortunately theres a fire ban so I can’t start the furnace so I’ll just have to sit down and have a beer 🤷🏻♂️,
Value in money: 15000 Australian Dollars. Emotional value: priceless 😍 And those are some pretty tough shelves! Didn’t even budge with all that new copper 💪🏻
Yeah mate, in the video I put out must be over a year now ago I showed going to the scrapyard and buying the thick steel shelves while I was building the workshop but as they were so bloody heavy I needed to hire a small crane to get them off the truck but definitely worth paying the extra for the thicker pieces👊🏻😁.
#bigstackd you should seal your workshop up and slap an AC unit in there to keep cool. Run it off a generator so it doesn't bring your electric bill up.
I don't know what it is, but this summer's open workshop, with the atmosphere of absolute content and work that is also not a stressful necessity but a leisure, made me feel like I could breath this hot summer's air, this freedom, it made me feel at peace.
Sorry my comments are out of order, I’m watching your videos as they come up. By the way, I love the view from your work area, it’s beautiful, your own piece of heaven.
Wow, in that date was my birthday and I forgot to watch this video and I forgot to ask you to greet me on my birthday. It doesn't matter anymore. Beautiful copper and brass bars and it's good that you finally cleaned the copper ingots from the thousand tons of the goal. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
I don’t know if I’m hungry or what. But you started making the food and I completely forgot what the video was about until the molds popped up. The food looked good!
Now you’ve got me REAL curious - about how much you think you’ve spent on gas to melt all that metallic beauty?? That’s some real solid money you’ve got stacked in the vault and getting more valuable by the day!!
I worked it out to be close to about $2500-$2600AUD . But I’m not too concerned about the cost of gas as it’s very cheap hobby and I do this on my days off from my normal full-time job. That’s why I stack it all up and don’t worry about ever selling it👍🏻.
I remember watching some of your first videos and thinking, “oh hell yeah dudes rock.” Now you have this huge trove and I’m still thinking “oh hell yeah dudes rock.”
I just stripped my first cables and it was bloody aluminum cables from an old heater... but then I found a couple of dead extension cords. My hands hurt because I don't have a cable stripper yet. I can't wait to get my furnace and start melting!
You should be in the Guinness book of World Records, I bet you have the biggest stack of personally melted ingots in the world! Darn I missed the giveaway, haven't been able to comment for weeks tho I've been here! For unknown reasons when I tried to comment on UA-cam the keyboard would freeze up and not work it's still kinda glitchy, just UA-cam idky! I did want to mention, a couple of times in recent past videos the heads have come off your sledgehammer, this past year here in the US they were all recalled because of that happening, like 5-8 different common brands of sledgehammers all recalled, my husband had about 6 of them lol and they got replaced! I don't know if Australia was affected by the recall but you might look into it! Love the extra frenchie content too 👍💯
Wow this is amaizing 💯 I’m a new subscriber to your content and channel Your work shop and vault is nek level 👌🏽 Watching the time effort and final product is so satisfying Can only imagine how rewarding you feel when you add more bars to your amaizing collection Love the content keep up the hard work looking forward to seeing more videos/content from you

Unless he puts it under the trees or installs a canopy over it, he would more likely end up with a "hot tub" than a cooling pool.
First, when I came in, you only had less than 100k subscribers, and now you have 1 million. Nice work, dude. Keep it up!

As a RPG-Gamer, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Treasure Chest! 😍
Me in the post-apocalypse stumbling across the valt and it’s contents:
“THE ONE-PIECE! IT’S MINE!”
i just had an idea for a useful tool for your operation. have 2 slotted spools that counter rotate next to each other and when you feed in the insulation on one side and the copper strand on the other itll pull the 2 apart and spool them at the same time and when done you just slide off the spools and load the next wire and keep going. you could maybe incorperate a automated sizer type stripper that can slice and strip in a single operation. i bet you have the means to build such a machine, and im sure there are other improvements that could be implimented to save time and effort.
That sandwich looked damn good. All while melting scrap on a hot day with a frosty beer, super jealous
Unfortunately theres a fire ban so I can’t start the furnace so I’ll just have to sit down and have a beer 🤷🏻♂️,
Ooh Bro, thank you very much, including the Costa Rican currency from outside Central America, almost no one remembers us.
No worries 👊🏻😁
Value in money: 15000 Australian Dollars. Emotional value: priceless 😍
And those are some pretty tough shelves!
Pro tip. Use wirewheel in cheap drill press and move the ingots :)
20:12 hands down my favorite parts
This is indeed very nice. And the cart has been removed!
This was my first time watching your channel, now I am addicted, amazing work

Wow, in that date was my birthday and I forgot to watch this video and I forgot to ask you to greet me on my birthday. It doesn't matter anymore.
Beautiful copper and brass bars and it's good that you finally cleaned the copper ingots from the thousand tons of the goal.
Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Well, happy late birthday buddy 👊🏻🎂
@@bigstackD thank so much mate 🤗.
I'm still here watching the videos I missed.
Big hug mate 💪🏻

Big stackD is an underrated master of cuisine
Love the extra frenchie content too 👍💯
Congratulations on the 700K plus views on this video!
