i recommend using the back jaw for tramming a vice, since thats the reference face when your actually using it

I have found that on that big twisted stuff with the insulation in it a shingle cutting blade in a box cutter takes that outside layer right off

The left side of your stripper has copper strands in it{back roller] maybe this is causing some stress on the motor …just saying I like the videos and watch often …keep up the great videos!

Hey Derek, I hope you had a great Christmas and please pass my Christmas wishes off to Steve also. Great video last night. I was dying when you were cutting up that heavy duty flexible wire. I’m looking to make up a good set of jumper wires and I know how expensive that wire is purchasing it new.
Have you ever thought of processing the insulation instead of tossing it? You just need the machine that melts it and turns it into spaghetti and then chop it into nibs. I looked online and that stuff sells for $10 -$40 per bag. My head is always thinking of how to make money. Hahaha. I lived in Jersey too before relocating to Naples.

have you thought about doing an armslength jig. It could be as easy as hollow pipe on legs and having cuting at the end and something to hang them on at the end? like a big ring as the cather so you can use it as a feader for spaghetti or just a holder for fat cables?

Will it be a diy projekt or something you need to buy? if there is place under the striper machine maybe you can do a retractable table/drawer/box in the right lenght to catch all the wires so you can cut alot and not have to hold anything by hand while cutting. Then when done you would have the table/drawer/box as your "feeding station" for the stripper.

In one of the previous videos you said that you will make a new aluminum plate for the king of copper. Then why not make two holes for a smaller wire. I don’t think it’s as easy as making smaller holes. I think the cutting wheels need to be able to cut the small stuff. This is only my thought on it as I’ve never used a stripping machine in my life. Cheers to Croatia from Naples, Florida. ❤

I live in Indiana so I'm not your competition, but I was curious where do you get all that wire from? I find quite a bit out in the wild but is that coming from power company's, auctions, something like that? Or do you advertise and they contact you how does that work exactly. I'm wanting to expand just a little bit this coming year more than just going around to construction dumpsters which is risky 25% of the time I get kicked out then I gotta come back after hours.

I bought it used for $250 from a customer. It has no brand and is definitely made in china. It's also highly modded.
