Absolutely, not only do i wish to see the old crew again, but I still want some more background epsidoes for T`Lyn like when Tendi went to the marriage on Orion...but for her, meeting her very Vulcan parents, her being deadpan emotionally going crazy with just barely rising an eyebrow...such things. They did great with the show and every season was better than the one before. If they cann keep it up they should keep it coming.
It’s sad the show ended but honestly I don’t know how they could have made a more perfect ending. Everyone’s stories were wrapped up but also left open for more. Plus it makes sense to end it this way, considering none of the main 5 are Lower Deckers anymore. It’s like having a show called “freshman year”, once they graduate they’re no longer freshman. I do find it funny that Boimler & Mariner can act as Ransom’s shoulder “angel & devil” with their personalities. I can totally see a situation like they’re confronted with a ship & Ransom’s trying to figure out the next move. Boimler “Sir I really think we could just talk to them” Mariner “talk later, let’s ram ‘em!” (Insert Shax cheering in the background)

Haven't had a chance to watch the whole show (only the first few episodes) but can't wait for a complete Blu Ray release. When it comes out, i'm gonna take a day off and binge watch the whole thing. Thank you to everyone who was working in this show.

I just finished watching the show a week ago. I actually binged watched it through a few weeks. I’ll admit that it was a struggle giving it for the first season, but damn this show improved so much overtime. The characters grew, the story evolved, and while this may be the end, it is at least a nice one.
It's a shame all the good faith for the Star Trek franchise had run out by the time Lower Decks came around. I feel like most folks missed it because they weren't interested in Trek anymore after Discovery shat the bed so thoroughly.

It USED to be on Paramount, but Paramount canceled it just a few months before its second season was to air. Netflix immediately bought the rights and aired said second season exclusively. Highly recommend it. Best new Trek show easily.

I'm really hoping Strange New Worlds has a reverse time portal and Pike visits the Starfleet Academy cast who visit a live action Cerritos, even if its a holodeck recreation for something important to the plot. Future crew allow him to to be involved in the holoprogram and he recognises Boimler & Mariner but does not say anything initially and then they meet Tendi and Rutherford and one of the future crew says something like "In the future even Orions join starfleet" trying to impress Pike for Pike to return with a "This is Tendi i assume and if this is Tendi then this is Rutherford right?" And the future crew have an absolute look of shock about how t.f Captain Pike knows future people to him.

I get that continuity is difficult. But like the 'unreliable narrator' it's rarely used by quality writers and staff anymore. It's generally used as a 'shut up and don't think about it, you can't say we're wrong' shield/crutch. There's a reason Star Trek always kept their multiverse shenanigans to two-parters or occasional bits and not the main attraction. Building it in as the basis for the 'new wave of exploration' and making it semi-reliable effectively jumps the shark a bit. Bethesda constantly ruins their most interesting lore by retconning it on a whim and using 'unreliable narrator' as an excuse. Alternate universes and what-ifs should be treated as fun little side-stories, meant to provide a little extra to a season. Modern show seasons are too few in episodes as is to further water them down. If you get eight episodes a season, and each one is another reality fundamentally different from the last, it sort of ruins that sense of investment.
Exploring the multiverse isn't about exploring new thing, it's about exploring ourselves. You can tell great mutliverse story. I thought I hated multiverse stories too, but Lower Deck reminded me this is never a question of trope, but a question of execution.
