Hey Cob. Glad to see you doing Destruction pvp video's again bro. I have dubbed the Fel/shadow portal as the Sperm Cannon. Because when you get lucky with the RNG, and get 3. The enemy you can feel is in a panic! LONG LIVE DESTRUCTION! Because people might think it sucks. But when it is in the hands of the masters it is a sight to behold! >:) I need to start making videos! GG man!
The damage looks good. It's just that all the damn damage is tied to 3 boring charges of some portal ._. imagine if instead of creating a flat dmg dealing portal, the staff empowered a random damage dealing ability or some shit like that! for example: 1. your next 3 incinerate casts fire off 3 incinerates instead of just one (kinda like multistrike but better) 2. your next chaosbolt hits twice as hard 3. your 2 next immolates deal 3 times the normal damage and become undispellable that would keep the desired "chaos" of random effects that they clearly want to go for. But now it seems like they took all the dmg from the spec, and slapped it on these damn boring portals
That'd be a lot better than what it is now, imo, keeps Destro damage centered around it's core abilities instead of relying on 45s cd portals that have a minuscule chance of being reset (why was this nerfed?) and would maybe make a legitimate Chaos Bolt spec viable, even if only through rng procs.
I really like the portals as they are now. They could maybe give chaos bolt or conflag a high chance to reset the cd or something since conflate has a cd and chaos bolt requires shards.

Am I missing something or were you casting instant Incinerates at some points? :o Either that or I totally blanked the cast bar, but at the end of the vid with the DH (before the Mage comes in) you seem to be casting instant Incinerates and I don't see the proc on your bar? I might just be confusing animations here, Idk, but keep it up Cob ^^

Cob, i have a really really serious question here i came back to wow now, and i can't decide between Fire Mage or Shadow Priest D: Help me! wich one is doing better? In Pvp and PVE quesits
They both feel really strong at different things in terms of pvp. I couldn't really make the decision for you but SP is what I mean so I'm gonna vote for that. If you wanna do pve content though, fire mage all the way. And fire is still really good in random BGs (Flamestrike build is moronic right now).
Stop looking for people to make your decision instead of you, every class and spec has it's own beauty mate. In addition legion just launched there will be tweaks there will be nerfs so they bring all the classes on the same level not to mention that itemlevel scaling can turn around your whole dps meter . Remember WoD combat rogues ? After they hit 670-680 ilvl+ they went full nuts on damage meters.Play whatever you like the most if you master it ,you'll be a god, cheers !
Right now it's probably better to roll a melee, just objectively stronger because Blizz's pvp devs can balance jackshit. Rogues however will most likely receive a major nerf when 7.1 hits.
Chaos Bolts are not even worth casting anymore. They take too long, costs 2 soul shards, and the damage is completely lackluster. You're better off going with the shadowburn build, like Cob said; it's boring, but it's the best build.
Chaos bolt blows so much ass. I knew all the whiners would get it nerfed because "it does too much damaaaaaaggggeeeee!!!!!!" completely forgetting all the setup it requires to even cast, getting kicked and interrupted constantly.
