Everytime I see a cenimatic video about my country, Philippines, it just feels different, even if I was already at the location that was shown in this video, it just hits different, it feels like I wasn't even there in the first place.
Its been 2 years since this lockdown happened. At least, for sometime, Earth was able to breath freely, out of any toxicity and human activities. 2020 may seem to be so worst than we think, but it was memorable for most of us. Food shortages, rushing to buy consumables around May to June 2020 and so on.
When I heard this song, and watched this video, I easily got that nostalgic view of Manila during the pandemic, and got in love with Novo Amor's songs, truly fascinating. Now, it's been 3 years since when the pandemic began, and a lot has changed.
Intentionally searched for this video because these days remind me of the lockdown days. So much feels last year -- when we had to rush our mother to ERs almost every other week with empty streets, when we were deployed at the airport to assist OFWs around May, and so much more! Haaaaay! 2020 was so remarkable -- i could only recount the value of time, family and simplicity. ❤️ Super love this video in so many waaaays! Hope you could create more like this 🙂
This video gives a sense of nostalgia and peace, it really shows me all the beautiful places I've been to before the COVID-19 came to say hi. Man, I miss being outside... Bravo, Mr. Ascabano.

Manila is just sad without the crowded people, the horn and noise of the vehicles stuck in a traffic, people who are on their way to work/school, our favorite food trip spots and the music of this busy city when night comes.. it just feels... Empty...
