Decades ago, when I was about your age, I used to scuba dive all year around. I vividly remember losing control of my car on sheet ice driving down the hill to the bay for a dive. Great work Joe just looking at the snow falling on my boat all wrapped up for winter sure making me feel I should review the closed season. Unfortunately it takes 2.5 hours to get to the coast for me so conditions need to be Bob on before commuting to such a trip Happy new year and please keep them videos coming your inspiring my son and I

Hi Joe, sorry if this has been covered before but as someone who is just getting into spear fishing in Cornwall, I’m interested in what thickness your wetsuit is? I’m using a 5/4 surf wetsuit currently and looking to get a spearo one but fear 7mm is overkill down here. Great vids and looking forward to more, cheers.
I'm currently in an 8mm suit over the winter months. I wear a thicker suit because I'm boat diving. I strongly recommend 7mm top and 5mm bottoms if you are diving from the shore. If you need help choosing, call my good friend Barcley on 07918612234. He runs the local spearfishing store and will help you get started 😊

We both have a piece of bungee here to stop the weight belt slipping down when we dive down 👌
