Let me tell you all the story of how meeting Colt Cabana made people think I had autism. I heard that Colt was coming to a wrestling show in Oregon and I was so excited. He was one of the three ROH people I always wanted to meet (the other two being Kevin Steen and Davey Richards) and I knew I couldn't miss this opportunity. I made the four hour trek from Seattle with a few buddies and enjoyed the show. After the show, I finally got to shake Colt's hand and take a picture with him. I was so excited that I used my limited data plan to post the picture on a wrestling forum I frequented. The first reply? "Sorry about your autism." I thought they were just being mean, but then a couple other people posted similar things and I was so confused why they were behaving like that. Fast forward a few months later when I'm just mindlessly browsing around and come across my wrestling pictures, including the one I took with Colt. That's when I realized in the photo he's wearing a "Hope Ride for Autism" shirt in the photo. I was so excited to meet him I never even noticed it. Colt, I'm still a huge fan of your work, but I'll always hate you just a little bit for trolling me (and that it took me months to realize it).
I really want him to see it, but I fear it would make JR bad mouth NL to other people. "These assholes NewLehgaci, but me in a 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗚 in a gahtdawm videya game".
This is so cool that guys like Colt come hang out with nL and genuinely have a good time playing games and just laughing and joking. Really nice touch with the end game screen being a Winner is You cheeky OSW nod there.
Ive bought retromania, and its a breath of fresh air. It was HARD when I first started but now its pretty fun. Zach Sabre Jr. is OP in my opinion. His arm bar move is devastating.
This game looks like a lot of fun, but I can't really vibe with the weird caricature art style for the wrestler art. Very jarring to look at compared to everything else, lol
