As another young guitar player, it makes me endlessly happy to see Grace get all this recognition. Saw you and her both at Daniel Donatos Christmas Jam!!! I hope I can meet her in the future!
The tip on how to hold a pick is gold!!! Thanks Grace! This old dude had no clue!!! And thank you for the interview Marty! She has that "it" factor. Good to see the young carrying the torch!
Saw the hair and the Gibson and thought okay, this girl MUST be rockin. Dude, she's 17, playing a '61 Gibson SG. I cannot tell you how happy that makes me! She has a classic rock energy and I dig that. Gotta check out her stuff now!
@@upinsmokewego59 it's a boy with male genitalia and no female reproductive system or womb. Dressing like a girl and saying it a girl doesn't make u a girl
The greatest compliment I can give a guitarist is that they have their own style and sound. She plays with both for sure. Could listen to her solo for awhile.
It's insane (ly awesome to me) that a young lady's first riff was a song from 1963, and that she was so excited about a 1961 Gibson. Grace is the perfect name for her lol. She was born way after the 20th century ended!
it be like that sometimes.. she livin my dream.. rockin out gigging, jamming with legends and guitar gods.. im jealous.. but also happy that kids are rocking out..
In a world full of good guitar players there is something very special about Grace Bowers playing. It's hard to quantify. Her personality is so laid back, it seems to come through in her playing. There is something there that reminds me of the great players like Clapton, Santana, Page.
She has definitely got some Duane Allman Soul in Her style! Looking forward to to watching her grow and develop her sound! Kudos to er choices for band mates! The whole group is fantastic!
Just started to learn guitar. One of the more difficult things has been holding onto the pick. Glad I watched this video…I’m going to try it Grace’s way!
She's a keeper Marty. Her and Kingfish. Man is he big. Now if someone could convince her to say the words to a song into a microphone. Also like the way she follows the music the way she hears it.
I just started playing guitar a couple weeks ago, ive been singing since a was a little kid, and even tho ive always been in love with guitars i never picked one in my life till now, i regret it so much😢, im so sad and scared that im gonna be a good guitarist probably when im too old im 26 right now.....anyways congrats to grace, and yall should check out chris kingfish he is also an amziiiiiing guitarist he reminds me of bb king because of the way he plays blues
You're still very young. And you can always make up for lost time by putting in the work. Trust me. I'm a lot older than you and just started really taking the instrument seriously 5 months ago and I don't care! I'm going for it. I'm a singer too by the way. Good luck ❤🎸😊
We need to see Grace and her band tour up in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Winnipeg Manitoba. Edmonton Alberta. We have had Tina Turner . Cher , and many many more, people would go crazy ❤❤❤❤❤
That's such a low bar.....she is very basic, her solos reveals she doesn't know scales or mastery of the fretboard, but just old rock riffs shes trying to stitch together.....thats the sign of an amateur
Hey Marty I finally got up enough $$$ to buy your signature guitar. I have learned a lot from you. I bought your pedals, picks and I'll soon have your es 335. If you're ever in Buffalo, NY you owe me a lesson or jam session! 😊😂
Ive been playing 30 years and she is best ive seen in a long time. Theres some footage of her where she sounds better than anything ive heard for decades. I think a lot of men for some reason cant accept shes better than them. Shes gets spoken to like shes not at the level BUT SHES BETTER THAN THEM LOL. Shes had moments better than i hear from studio guys on you tube. Soul is the name of the game and shes beaten everyone right now. Oh think im wrong come on over and jam. I notice on these interviews shes spoken down to just a bit and shes actually better than the men and by a mile in some cases.
Grace is incredible and she plays the best guitar on the planet. I have been playing blues guitar for almost 55 years, the first 20 years on a Fender, then I tried a Gibson and the music just came together as nothing ever had before. I love Fender and believe they have their place, but when it comes to blues, Gibson is KING. Fender gives a clear, pure sound, but Gibson gives raw power and the true essence of the blues. Earthy and guttural, just as it should be.
Wow! Fantastic dedication to the instrument and music! I hate when older people crap on the young. I’ve seen so many young hard working people incredibly talented that it’s inspiring!
I have been a fan of Nancy Wilson since Dreamboat Annie was released in 1975. Every time I see Grace I can't help but feel like I'm looking at a young Nancy - except I believe she's going to be an even better guitar player. That should tell you just how good I think Grace Bowers is.
I like grace and I like that SG, I have an epiphone version of that in pelham blue. Grace reminds me of Samantha Fish but she don't sing. However! Anytime I see young people playing loud ass guitar I celebrate.
She is terrible! Not attention to harmony or melody. Just noodling. She is good at that for sure and staying in a pentatonic box. Marty must be desperate for views. A while back you interviewed Molly Miller, at least she can play.

Hooray . . we have another queen of pentatonic noodling up and down . . . .

Great interview with Grace Bowers!! Love her playing style.
You love noodling with no harmony or melody? To each their own.
we will be hearing and reading about this young lady for years to come!!
Sad but true. Mediocrity at its best!
Marty , you're such a cool dude man ! Thanks for all the lessons ,tips, tricks and awsome content over the years 🤟

That's what you care about that she is young and beautiful. Replace here with a 50 year old white guy and not a single person would praise her.
She's such a great kid, happy for her. She deserves all the praise she's been getting. Super cool to see.
Awesome interview Marty! She's a star already! Really like the interview stage/setup!
Marty Schwartz is the best bro got me from beginner to pro man I swear I started off his videos and now I look how he got me to earn all this
Thank you Grace and Marty for sharing the conversation and jam.
Great interview and awesome jams! Grace is super talented

Marty, I believe you have Grace's old youtube link in your description and not her current account. Great show as always Marty!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

She looks like a young Nancy Wilson!
Sort of reminds me of Peter Frampton’s playing. But she has her own style.
Can you do a video on burn by David kushner

Got a little Jerry Garcia vibe. Very cool
I’m thinking that perhaps she’s influenced by Derek Trucks
I've made similar comments. The minute she starts playing, the crowd and her surroundings seem to disappear. Very zen like, like Derek.
Dude I BEG U PLZ TEACH US MEXICAN SEAFOOD IM DYING TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY IT
Tal Wilkenfeld and Grace? ? ?___Not sure if they would fit into a small space together.? ? ? It seems inevitable they will meet up at some point.
If she is this good at 17, imagine 37.

That's "Pipeline" not "Wipeout". Cool video though
