Hopefully one of the last late night uploads! Been shooting 2 a days and then editing after so I have a few to edit. Should be able to fliip that schedule and get some midday uploads consistently for the rest of the time til baby comes! Appreciate you all! Enjoy the review :)
If you ever get a chance come play the course in El Reno, Oklahoma! It’s a decent course not very long at all and it’s what I play all the time because I live like 4 blocks away lol there’s a bunch of courses in OKC, one in Mustang and a nice one down in Durant as well. Norman and a lot of other towns have a bunch of courses too. Love your videos brother you’ve came a long way in a short time.
Fission Timelapse is money. got one in 168g and advanced in my max distance by 30ft instantly 😎 it kicked my stardestroyer out of the bag... never thought that would happen 😅
I love the new timelapses. Got two a 160g and a 169g, for a little different stability. They are so domey and glidey, for my armspeed they seem to just keep pushing even when I thought I didn't throw them well. I finally parked the practice basket at Coal Creek with one and almost 2'd a 520 ft par 4 today. Over the past week or so I've probably had 3 or 4 of my longest drives with them. It's hard to find sometimes a driver that will have a lot of turn but still a good amount of late fade, especially if you can't quite throw hard enough to force turn out of some drivers. For Denver altitude they are pretty money.
If I understand disc golf correct I think "Hyzer" refers to the left/ right wing angle (independent of nose angle). You might need a throw high in the sky counter more than a hyzer angle counter. And of course you already know the more nose up means more air pushing under plate = slowing down = less distance. Obviously you need to be a little high for the disc to have time to work but not SO high that you're killing the finish by it stalling out sooner or more than desired. Regardless of all that it was a fun video to watch, with good disc info & a relatable putting clinic.
Hyzer is angling the top of the disc away from you, anhyzer is angling the top of the disc towards you (independent of nose angle as you said). The nose angle of the disc should ideally be a few degrees negative, while the thrower adjusts the launch angle to add height. It's generally preferable to throw on hyzer because the wind will push on the disc evenly throughout the flight. Flex or anhyzer shots are more affected by wind
I just got back into disc golf while in Virginia for three months after not playing for about 10 years! That course was the first course I played since back in Colorado (native to Colorado) and I forgot how fun it was bombing open fields instead of playing tight and technical holes! Definition hooked again!
i have a baby arm but the fission timelapse is for sure the "peoples" timelapse i like it WAY more then the nuetron run i had the hand feel is definitely different and even my baby 330 arm i can still get it to flip up and go straight for a bit
My 166g fission Time Lapse is a straight up bomber! Goes 30ft ir do further than my 13 speed mayhem! I hope they release max weight so it can beat in to what the lighter one does and stay for a while before beating into oblivion.
Fission time lapses are fantastic! I got the opportunity to play cactus rock (Paul McBeth’s new course in Tuscaloosa) and it was a huge help considering that it is a 10000 foot course!
I have a GG Emperor that I throw as my water disc and my 161 Time lapse goes like 30-40 feet further effortlessly. It feels amazing, I need to get a back up
I’ve been watching you for a little over a year, I love your content and how much you’ve improved! 480+ ft is crazy, but it wasn’t as smashed as that McDonald’s straw 😂
Wicked excited for the newly announced fission defy! The time lapse is a little too big in my hands. I’ve always liked the feel of the defy but wished it had some actual dome to it.
Fission at 163g made this usable where my emperor is 167g and my Realm and Enigmas are 171g. Fission will allow you to go lighter weight and hold stability due to the lighter flight plate and resulting nearly similar moment of inertia ... if my college physics is holding up after all these years. :)
I just lost my fission time lapse this past weekend. It was the same pink and yellow combo that you are throwing. 167 g’s. It was a bomber even for my noddle arm. I could throw it 380-400’.
Whatever can't throw the fission version, it's way too flippy, the neutron is where it is at for me, goes to show THAT IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE THROWER
I don’t buy the fission acting like it’s heavier. I throw a neutron relay for hyzer flips all day. I bought a fission relay for something more stable and it was suuuppppeer flippy. It was the same weight as my neutron so it should fly like it was heavier and be more stable
Honest question.. why do you keep throwing Forehand up shots that are sub par when the backhand hyzer is open? I would understand if the answer was that you throw that shot better, but I think it's your most inconsistent shot by far.. just curious of the thought process! Love the content
@BodanzaDiscGolf I'm just asking bc it's something I see a lot of people doing. I've always heard that you have more "control" with a Forehand, but I haven't found that to be the case. I would suggest just trying your 200ft and in upshots backhand just to see! Couldn't hurt too bad 😉
Something that’s got me a lot more distance recently is holding the disc on a slight anhyzer in the reach back (it gets it nose down) and focusing on reaching out instead of behind me (I now average 470 and can get over 500). Also film yourself and compare your form to pros.

Great review, so glad they released the time lapse in this plastic.
I was literally setting my alarm 😭 gotta stay up another 25 minutes now
The 161 fission immediately made my bag!!!!!
It’s a great compliment to my wave…and less work than my photons!
Awesome disc❤
Kinda jealous of yours. My 167g is definately a roller disc. Flipper then most stock Waves

23:31 I really like the pink with yellow rim fission Timelapse 💯🤷♂️👍

As a DND nerd, itll be easier if you say "d6" or "dx" for whatever number if sides you need. Siri and google understand

I miss west creek.. when I lived in Parker that’s my first course I played when I moved up from Grand Junction..

I’ll be at badlands on Wednesday around 5… if you need someone to give that Timelapse to… 😂😉
My 169 gram SE fission and regular stamp fission time lapse are very under stable. Might be a difference in elevation I play Massachusetts disc golf

You can always give it to a subscriber 😉
Clipped and shipped
This is the kind of content I like from you. More reviews. Less tourney
I am hoping that there's a proton run of time-lapses that are flat and stable. Domey discs cause nose angle issues for me.

Just ordered a fission Time-lapse and it comes in tomorrow. This video is quite timely!
You eating that McDonalds straw?
@@SwordOfAndariel it’s tasty
A little better it’s 1:10 am this time
I'm stuck at a consistent 300-320ish distance. Are there any tips you'd recommend to help?

0:55 I haven’t finished the video yet but I would gladly accept a Fission TimeLapse if you do give one away 💯🤷♂️👍👏
Are you throwing one finger forehands?
