Omg I didn't know that you guys had a podcast and it's right up my alley. Keroro gunsou was my favorite anime as a kid! I used to watch it with my brother on youtube when people used to upload anime broken up in parts and with weird frame alterations.
Glad you all are back! I highly recommend Sengoku Youko. Manga and anime are finished and it is rather short with the anime just recently fully finished. It deserves much more publicity. Unsure if they've mentioned it before though. Dadadan is one hell of an anime drug. I'm excited to see where it goes.
Now that you guys are back, I would like to recommend Regressed Mercenary's Machinations. The story is standard time regressor stuff, but my god the flow of combat is so goddamn good, it's clear and flows in such a nice way from scene to scene, ntm the artstyle is also really fun to like, a bit more painterly than most manhwas.
Yeah, that's a great recommendation, though they seem to have changed some things from the novel to the manhwa adaptation. Also, the fighting choreography is great too, making every battle feel intense and well-paced.
Just the obligatory late message to say please don't buy cheap automatic cat litter boxes - do a bunch of research and invest if you want one. There are ones which can literally trap and kill your cat. Be careful!
They are back! I missed your podcast. I would like to hear Scarra's trash reads. Ngl I'm down that same rabbit hole too 😆.I would like to recommend Bad Born Blood, Star Embracing Swordmaster ,The indomitable Martial King, and Infinite Magic are the top of my go to reads now. Would love to hear your thoughts on these, if they are trash or treasure.
Slow moments are there for a reason to build characters and build the story, A LOT of people complain about a story being slow ... while looking at their phones so they miss core moments. you will have slow build up arcs in a lot of manga, anime and series that leads to a big climax or event but the road there can be hard but it's what makes some story moments so damn good! Less then 90 minutes ... I'm always surprised by the lack of attention span people have ! currently i'm only watching Apothecary diaries s2 , Sakamoto days and Shangri-la frontier s2
I've been in Peter's chat, bugging him for a second season. Good to know that it paid off. This is my favorite podcast. Love scarra n Peter yapping it up about whatever. 🔥 🔥 🔥
OMG HI WITH A SCHEDULE??? LFG!!! I honestly enjoy rewatching this podcast. "No more curses" 😂 New kitties?? How did I miss this Peter arc? Edit: Did you guys see that Riot wants to make a TCG? I started this romance manga called Pupposites Attract and it's adorable.
There is no way Peter brought up bad endings right after discussing the Sopranos and didn’t include it lol. The Sopranos ending is one of the worst their is
I hope you see this and you might have mentioned this, but if you haven't, I have recently started a pretty good action regression manhwa that would be right up Scarra's alley called "The Regressed Mercenary's Machinations" which has a slow start but has a very unique art style and the best combat art that I have seen in the last couple years. I also recommend on a much lower level, even though I am completely sure you have probably already gave it a once over, a title that is a little older called "Eternally Regressing Knight" another regression manhwa that has a very satisfying twist and handles power levels really well without making it seem ridiculous. I would love to hear your thoughts on either if possible. PS I want to start off by saying that I love the podcast by readers for readers but I kinda fell out of this podcast because I liked to first write down and later screen shot the recommendations that popped up on the screen for later but I usually only listened to podcasts in the background and I didn't realize that you guys also did Chinese and Korean stuff instead of just Japanese manga. That it took me until very recently to get caught up and I was wondering if you guys could put some text with the name of the recommendations because it would be so much easier to find the stuff for later. I you can do it than thank you and if you can't because it is just way more work than I apologize for asking.
Ichi's alright but not exceptional, but it's a huge success for Jump and the sales have been great for a first volume. Jinrui Shoko was pretty awful honestly, got axed and felt very unfocused. Hope You're Happy, Lemon is such a good romcom, I've been loving the recent developments. Monochrome Days is ok, more of a hobby series than a romance series.
Welcome back!... To answer your question whilst I definitely do fall into the camp of Lost's ending being bad I think Game of Thrones affected me more. Simply because the decisions of every character in the last season invalidates who they were or who they grew to become in the previous seasons. It was cast-wide assassination
APOLOGIZE FOR LEAVING OUT OF NOWHERE! Missed you guys
sorry 😓
@@FakeFansPodcast Only way we'd accept the apology is if next episode is done in maid costumes

Yeah, that's a great recommendation, though they seem to have changed some things from the novel to the manhwa adaptation. Also, the fighting choreography is great too, making every battle feel intense and well-paced.

I missed this so much 😭

happy to hear some talk about Hope You're Happy, Lemon !! this manga is goated. I'm intrigued about Kai-hen Wizards, so I will be checking that out!!
Love this podcast, to the production team, any chance you can bump the volume up? They're definitely quieter compared to other UA-cam videos
Lost became so bad that I never finished it. At least GoT I was able to finish it
Jack saint got a really good video on joker 2.

For a hot minute I thought they were going to be that one masterpiece of an anime that never gets a season two 😢
They're back!
WE MISSED YOU MY FAVOURITE PODCAST
Peter talked about Sgt. Keroro and I just had a flashback
Bro those frog aliens were fucking coomers LOL
Easy answer GOT ending is unparalleled how bad it is. Lost ending isn't even bad, somehow the people that hated it are very local about that one tho

Episode 7 of dandadan is where the show landed for me
