I almost deleted my account because of doing the most stressful quest in the rpg games history!!
I did this theme dungeon for the first time (blind) a few days ago, and I almost lost my mind XD. I only missed the silent boy and the old mans keys, which I had to use google to get haha
i'm at 7/12 keys and i used them on the locks so i can't tell what i'm missing, and since i just mash through dialogue i don't remember what i've even done so far lmao. i hate this theme dungeon so much
The dialogues actually tell you / give you hint on what to do, just not spoon feeding you like other quest. The first time i do this i didnt know there was guide online, i did it in like 3 hours, it wasnt the most efficient but it was fun solving the puzzle.
This questline took me hours because I kept doing the repeat questline and screwing up the day/night and the weather so I didn't realize there were quests that required certain weather and stuff.
I recently started playing maple again and your videos have been helping MASSIVELY. Especially this one! Thank you
You know what, I have been loving this theme dungeon since it came out because having to grind at Yu Garden for good but time limited totems is way too much of a hassle.
this quest was quite stressful for me, I thought I messed alot of stuff up because at times my game would look different than the guide, and i was thinking about resetting. Finished it finally, thanks for the guide.
I mean, this would be most hopeful for Xenon since they have three primary stats they use while other use one and Demon Avenger can't even get too much of a boost since they use HP.
I dont know what i would have done without this video. First time clearing Afterlands in 15 years of playing cause i always found it so confusing. Ty you good sir :)
It's like they purposely went out of their way to make these some of the most convoluted quests in the game. :x
Thanks, i've played this game for years now and even on my main lv 247 i never bothered doing it, cuz i remembered there was something weird about it. Was waiting for some totems to just be added, but all i ever got was goo totem from event. Now i finally have 3 slots equipped.
Thanks coppersan! Just did this 3x with your guide and on the third try, when waiting for the tomb stone, i had to wait 4 mins after finishing everything else cause of how much i was zooming through it🤣 i even clicked the other keys while waiting too

Hey coppersan! When you slay 100 treasure thief monstrosities, if you are lucky with the tasteful favours quest you can also kill 50 of them and get 1 gold nugget. Saved me 1/6 trips for Joel😊 Awesome guide

It’s so coincidental that I’m doing this quest now and didn’t even know about the awesome reward you get at the end!!! Can you do more of quests that give you really decent stat items??
Another one i recommand (even more if you are a reboot player) is mushroom shrine questline - lv 100 questline. Gives a good looking wing cape with high stats called wings of fate

Only reason I decided to do this quest today was cause I saw this video. What a headache it would’ve been without you CopperGod. That being said, I still messed up and ate all 6 Gold Nuggets to break the wall -_-“ haha. Such a walk in the park compared to prior tries though!

For anyone doing this in 2024 and is stuck at the gold bag part, this comment on reddit got me through it
"Just to insure. Make sure you go to the land of the fighters while raining. Then click the statue. If it does default dialogue try talking to one of the people to the left. The quest triggers by talking to one of the guys in the gold place. It doesnt have a quest marker to start you just have to talk to him. I've ran it 3 times back to back and never had a problem. But who knows this game is a plate of spaghetti with how messy it is."

I had no idea this existed!! I’ve been using old totems that give +1 luk for years 😭😭
Just had this issue of your Land of Warrior not raining. What fixed it for me was the following:
Make sure you’re in daytime/refresh thru the day/night cycle; make sure you have clear weather.
Make sure you’ve done the Meso bag and finished speaking with Louie/Hemblahblah.
Go to the Land of Warriors, click on the statue and it should have a prompt saying something other than the standard, “Looks about ready to throw spear”, saying something looks odd.
Speak with Edgar NPC and then click on statue again, should tell you it needs to be wet.
Go to Land of Innocence, eat the cookies/snacks next to Tina and break the toy next to Riley. Cookies make it rain, the toys make it thunder.
Go back to Land of Warriors. Click the statue again. It should now work and be replaced with a rose and a quest bulb should appear.
Go to Land of Riches and speak with Hemherrherrrrrr. Done.
Where do you get the cookies? I'm so stuck lol

I hate the getting 6 gold pieces part... I wish they'd cut it down to 2 (1 for each requirement). And maybe add a way to go to the other worlds instead of 1 by 1. Otherwise I'd do this more often. Amazing guide!
I accidentally used all 6 on before completeing the giant quest in the warrior area, where can i get more golden pieces?
@@PrinxceShavy Talk to the NPC with the repeatable quest in the land of riches, every time you finish it you a gold piece, and it can be repeated forever

I’m stuck at the gold bag. I didn’t everything as coppersan instructed but when I go to click the gold bag nothing happens. I tried using adele float skill and still nothing happened

I got stuck and probably locked out from getting the totems: Growing big didn't trigger vulcanelli, so I thought I had to do something else first. Did the whole breaking the wall thing, but then ended up not having the gold nugget things for growing big anymore, nor could I get them from Ben either.. so there's 2 things that now won't trigger:
I can't grow big anymore, before when I had nuggets and grew big, vulcanelli didn't respond to it at all (did have her quest for it) and also causing a storm never initiated the key in the tree stump.
I had this up before doing it and said to myself " This seems easy I dont need to watch the video" Almost three hours later Im back just finishing up.... True evil

Hello community, I need help: I tried to do the quest myself and failed with the golden balls that make you big. I'm still missing 3 of them and he doesn't give any more quests, is there still a chance to do something?

PLEASE HELP. I can't seem to be able to get key 9, the key you get from talking to the statue and then the spear turns into a rose. If I talk to the statue it says "that statue looks like its ready to throw that spear at any moment." And nothing more, no dialogue. It's my last key so if anyone knows how to fix it I'd much appreciate it!!
You need to eat the kids’ candy or break their toys to make it rain
This theme looks beautiful but its dark because everyone is dead especially the kids died innocently!
Hello, do you know if there's a way to get the key from tree trunk if i skipped it early? cause i got 11/12 and theres no way to break the tree without the lighting ;( ?

I love you man! I really hate this dungeon and you made it a breeze
I appreciate the story telling here and there but sometimes the joke makes the guide harder to follow. Would prefer a dry and clear instruction for these long and boring quests. Still 9/10, better than most guide out there.

It gives 4 totems but we can only equip 3 right? Is there any reason I should keep the 4th or can I trash it?
you can trash it, its so it covers all 4 stats so that no class is left out
I do all the quest and cant get more gold piece what can i do? i have only one and dont have the quest any more.

Can you tell me how you fixed it? I have all the keys except for key 9, which is the one you get when talking to the statue. If I talk to the statue nothing happens, i only get the message "the statue looks like its ready to throw that spear atvany moment." But no dialogue. Please help!

i cant find the last key and i dont know which one it is. because i did all you said except for the statue spear thingie. and i cant do that one for some reason. tried changing weather and everything
edit: ok, re-entered the dungeon and it worked

If you know what you're doing for example using this guide. Spamming through the dialog etc. Roughly 1-2 it's one of the lengthier theme dungeon. But the only that fills up the totems slot. Sorry in advanced if you knew it.

:( I wish they gave permanent totems for maplesea too. Over here they give us a badge, pendant, earrings. Basically nothing endgame.
man i spent a whole day trying to finish this dungeon
i swear i need help on this, somehow i forgot to to the quest until today lol so i managed to get 11 keys and almost at the end i realized i was missing out 1 (i was doing 1 behind) and this is because the second key on this video is not shown on the screen it is just mentioned (the one hidden on the stump). So after i finished all the keys i went back to the kids but no matter what i cannot get the stump to throw the key after the storm (tried day and night no avail) and now no matter what i do it is raining and with lighting and i cant move forward, the kids no longer give me a quest and the stump has no key. Any help?

I think I finished the quests and have gotten 11 keys, all but the one where the lock looks like a raven. Anyone know what I missed? Already defeated the yellow mage and killed the raven(s)

I think I had a full etc inventory when I fought the yellow mage cause I didnt get his key after I finished the walkthrough.

Shanghai totems are farmed to my understanding from any monster in the zone. 2 of them have fairly low drop the last one is abysmal. They're time limited. It's more like, choose your time investment thing

@@Ed360x those are dark lord totems from an event there’s 4 tries dark/gold/silver/ bronze maybe actually only 3 without bronze can’t remember

The only remaining quest left for me is the one that you need to eat this gold thing 3 times in front of the woman warrior, But by mistake i used all of them and now the quest that gives me the gold is unavailable. Anyone knows how can I complete this quest again?
it should reset each day, however i have heard people are stuck, but i had to wait a day for the reset and i could get more

*Joel's Gold repeatable quest has a limit. If you don't accept Mansa's quest before growing 3 times to break the wall down Joel will not give you more gold to try again.*
Well i spent the golds wrongly and now i need more 2 to finish god of battle part, but the quest wont appear. Guess im stuck forever and will not get the totems? xD
@@renancassiano143 same here. I just realized i screwed it up. It’s my last quest and now i’m forever missing one key. Apparently it’s a bug, and has been a bug for four years, and has never been fixed. I’m going to try and contact Nexon but i doubt they’re going to do anything about it.
