Really enjoyed watching this video, such a pretty area especially the daffodils and woodland. Love the enthusiasm and humour you both have, lovely couple... would love to see you do some more walks around the Kent or sussex area. Greetings from Australia
Lived in cranbrook all my life I completely forgot about that wall used to use it as kids to get to Bedgebury forest concerts I will definitely be walking it again this weekend for memories and to see the change 👍
Hi both, great walk. Btw it’s definitely pronounced Goudhurst as in ‘Crowd’- hurst. Not sure who you’ve been talking to re pronunciations. Ps Glassenbury is famous for Napoleons charger ‘Jaffa’ after Waterloo battle being brought back to live out his days there in the grounds. Happy hiking.
We've had conflicting information re that pronunciation. All I know is that one way or another, we've got it wrong... Thanks for the equestrian trivia, that's a new one! for sure...
take a compass ,fix the cardinal points on your map , if it's sunny use it ,look back at bends or dips in the road ,shout cooee , like aussies if desperately lost ,AKA close to tears ,or don't go watch a good film on the box ,
Thanks for letting us join you on this hike. I'll be following the same route soon and hopefully won't get as confused.
