Hey Pop! I’ve had two of those 12 volt refrigerators and they work great. Never had that particular brand. Just a word of caution don’t trust it for very long without starting your truck up to recharge the battery. They will run a battery down in vehicle fairly quick. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻
@lutherprince9304 thanks for the tip. This one has 3 different settings as to how far it will let the battery run down, before turning itself off. I will definitely keep in mind to check on the battery now and then when I'm using it in the truck. I also have some extra lifepo4 batteries that were used on the houseboat that I'm thinking about making a portable power station. Problem with that even though I have the batteries the cost of everything else that is needed adds up. Unless I just go super plain Jane
@@BoondockingCajunstyle That’s great! Mine doesn’t have that option. I understand what you’re saying about how everything adds up quickly. The 12volt fridge I’ve had worked really well for me. One I still use occasionally never really have had any issues with either other than battery consumption. But I still use it just have to remind myself not to leave to long without starting the vehicle. I believe y’all will enjoy it.
Used it once on a little bank trip and it was really nice. It really does make things easier when you are not digging through melted ice and freezing cold water
Pop That’s great, no need for all that heavy ice. I have them yeti style coolers , there to heavy and you lose half your space with the ice. Fill it up with fish now, take care.
@mrk2163 we have been using gator aid bottles filled with a salt water mix to keep things cool, in which last a long time. But with this thing no more ice or remembering to put the jugs back in the freezer
Nice lil update. I have the aj30 and love it. Ive been experimenting with a few frozen 16oz water in the bottom, set temp to 31-32 and they stay frozen without freezing you regular drinks aslong as you dont leave it closed longer than 12hrs.

We love off grid camp stuff. That looks real nice!😊
@HappyCamper1510 I've been wanting one of these coolers ever since they came out. This setpower cooler is very nice and it will also work as a freezer

@@nickpellegrin I've always wanted one. It's crazy on just how much you can put in them not worrying about ice
