That's where countries like ours go wrong as bad as our jails are the re offend rate is high but there are countries that approach jail like true rehabilitation their jails don't look like jails at all and they make them do something productive with their time and they don't have the same revolving door problem like united States. United States prison make criminals worse and they come back to the streets worse for the public. Now like the worst of the worst serial murders, rapist etc. Keep them separate but most people in jail come back out so why not try to make them better while they're locked up. Obviously our system doesn't work as crime gets worse even though we have the most people locked up in the world.
