- Rus: В файлах GTA Vice City ещё давно было найдено много неиспользованных в итоге вещей. Большую часть из них составляют телефонные звонки, которые получал игрок в определённый момент сюжета. В Интернете уже давно размещены все вырезанные звонки, но везде это подавалась как-то по частям, и я решил объеденить всё в одно видео, здесь я представил и звонки оставшиеся в папке Audio, и звонки, к которым нет звука, но текст которых остался в american.gxt.
Eng: In GTA Vice City game files a long time ago has founded a lot of unused things. Big part of them is phone calls, that player can get in certain part of story. All unused phonecalls already posted down at the Internet, but in small parts, and I decided put them all in one video, here I posted both phone calls from Audio folder, and calls without audio, but with text from american.gxt. (Bad english, sorry)
I kinda feel sorry that dates between Tommy and Mercedes were cut out from the game. I mean, it would additionally perfectly show how Tommy's lust for power started to get him too selfish, so Mercedes broke and went for other men.
That also would explain why Mercedes is whoring around the whole game. She were in love with Tommy, but since he more interested in taking the city that to court Mercedes, she trying to compensate loss of Tommy with a lots of other man.
I had a crush on Mercedes the first time I played VC... Back then I didn't know she was whoring the second half of the game lol I'd have loved to see more interactions with her

Wasn't Mercedes whoring around from the beginning? She even asked Tommy to take her to the Pole Position Club... so... was she just there as a customer and wanted a drink? Or was she going there as a stripper?

The phone call from Kent Paul telling Tommy about the Swat retirement fund should’ve been in the game. It didn’t really make sense to me that Tommy just decided to rob the bank after purchasing the Malibu.
Yeah. This call explains everything. At the same time, there is another call in the game that is confusing with its presence. After the mission Keep your friends close, Paul calls and says that he met some girl "Mercedes or something... ". As if neither he nor Tommy knew her. What is this for?
And it also didn't make sense that Kent appeared at the end of the heist acting like it was all his idea when he never once appeared in the questline beforehand

Back in the day, i was a kid playing GTA VC. When Kent Paul gives his last phone calls after the storyline, when he tells Tommy that he was with a prostitute named Mercedes that encountered in the streets of Little Havana, i knew it was Mercedes herself and i spent a lot of time trying to find her in those streets, lmao.

i feel like the ken rosenberg call about business would have been useful because from a blind playthrough perspective without any outside help it's not easy to figure out you have to go and buy several businesses in order to progress in the story
That's what stopped me from progressing for years. I just roamed the world doing as I pleased because I didn't know you had to buy and complete 7 assets, with Print Works being one of them.

I ve found unused call by cortez that he is killing mercedes fsther and another call from ken you can heard these two calls by using new vice city mod 2009
I think some of them kinda unnecessary
@@xqjahsakaja5514 the call about the bank should have stayed b/c it would have set up the Malibu heist b/c I never understood how tommy got the knowledge of the cops dirty $$ I had a feeling he heard it from Kent Paul but this would have made much more sense.

@nwo detox in these unused voice files, Tommy seems to mock "Kent Paul" by calling him "KENT", but in fact, his first name is Paul actually. Despite that, even the developers of the video game is labeling the person as "Kent", thus mocking the character.

The first call from Unknown person sounds he just ran out of energy
Half of these calls with audio are in my game and i can answer them, and hear them like they are part of the storyline(mostly the mercedes calls)
@@Nuuk_Nuke_Nook in the mobile version audio files that were suppose to be deleted will sometimes glitche into the game.
For example steve will call me and say that he can now buy his dad a home of his own and will thank me for working with him.

Fixing your English with DeepL: A lot of unused items were found in the GTA Vice City files a long time ago. Most of them are phone calls that the player receives at certain points in the story. The definitive edition definitely had a missed opportunity to flesh out some of this content that was never used. Maybe it wouldn’t have gotten review bombed as bad! lol 😆

The second business advice from ken rosenberg can still be triggered on my old crack PC vesion of Vice city yet the steam version don’t in any of my 10 playthrough.
I can promise i heard Umberto rubinha's unused phone when he offer us to see him as tommy vercetti ( not leo ) i think they cut it because the frinedly cuban/haition version

These cut things should have been in the Definitive Edition
These cut things could be even in Xbox or PC version. But Rockstar don't love touching projects that already ended.
But there is one situation when rockstar added cut content for game for other platforms.
Bully:Schoolarship Edition. Bully released in 2006, but after 2 years with another engine game released twice for PC and Xbox 360. Rockstar added to game 6 new missions, and all of them is about Christmas. Is obvious that rockstar added that missions for marketing purposes.
