I believe we e held off on QB runs/bash/option primarily to keep Lamar healthy. Last year he made a few comments as to be being beat up by the time the afc championship game came around. Going into the playoffs we have a fast and healthy Lamar and a Derrick Henry who is as healthy and fresh as he’s ever been from less carries and less contact (this year is his best year for yards before contact) I’m really just hoping we can get a lead and play from ahead because we’re unstoppable, the team gets so tight playing from any deficit because they believe the defense won’t hold. Praying for cleaning up the penalties and making a serious run
Yeah, I’m kind of worried about when we play the chiefs (I’m certain we’ll get there)-instead of starting with giving it to Henry back to back, we may we may have to run some quick RPO. I hope Monken is prepared for this adjustment.
Running trap/crunch, not blocking the DE and using Lamar to pull him as if it’s an option is so creative. You get the extra body for the run game and remove their best run defender without even having to block him.
It feels like the run game is finally built with Derrick in mind. Punishing trap schemes opening gaping holes for the king. Once he gets that steam it’s over
Great breakdowns, coach ! Hoping our opponents' defense coordinators aren't privy to your channel...😅 I can't wait to see how we shape up in the playoffs !
The defensive front from the Texans reminded me of The AFC Championship Game vs Kansas City…. The Chiefs showed multiple run stopping fronts and essentially made The Ravens one dimensional. And it looks like The Ravens have let The Chiefs and the rest of the AFC know they’re going to need to try something else! There’s a good look at it available at the 50:56 min mark on The NFL UA-cam channel.
“Teams are going to have up do a lot of film study to stop this”. No they aren’t- you guys are doing it for them. lol. But your content is still impressive and worth the follow.
Dang! What would this Jackson - Henry combo look like with we kept Zeikler!!!!!! How much better would Rosengarten be this season with a savvy vet next to him!!!!! Darn darn darn darn darn! (Not what l want say but...)
Thank you for letting me know. I am going to have to look at a fix. Few other people have been gracious enough to mention it. I will work on it this week. Thank you very much.
It looks like they are really victimizing defenses that attack the mesh point and don't commit to either Henry or Lamar. The 6 yard Henry run to get us off the one yard line was poorly blocked by Faalele at the point of attack, but the lack of back end pursuit is what made the downhill run possible.
I understand trying to prevent Lamar from running. If you are forcing a "give" read you are essentially saying you would rather deal with Henry running the ball. I have never understood that because he has shown through his entire career that can take any handoffs 80+ yards. While both Henry and Lamar are great runners, I think as a defense I would take my chances with Lamar running the ball over Henry. I am actually glad teams have been doing this because it has given Lamar more freedom. I feel that we used him too much running the ball. Not to mention his risk of getting injured.
Henry is putting more pressure on option by cutting back and towards the guys keying lamar. I love it
Keep up the the great work you have been doing.
@@scottharmon6241 thank you so much. This was amazing. I really appreciate it.
@@scottharmon6241 these are a lot of fun to produce. I am glad you enjoy them.

I am so enjoying the Todd Monken era.
@@oldwalter9573 agree. Would love to have him around for another season. But they might not be possible, depending on how things turn out.
Do we see Lamar’s Qb Coach (Tee Martin) being the next successor, should Monken move on?
I think mama Jackson became the offensive coordinator😂. She sent a spark to everyone when she called Lamar after the game. Check the stats since!

I just hope he doesn’t get away from it if chiefs go up by 7 or 10.
I agree, It’s like the coaches are finally realizing that our line is just not physically strong mainly our guards.

Looking forward to seeing more tape and you breaking it down!
I love your videos and I love option football. I was a college and high school coach for 30 years and for 15 of those I coached option offenses.
Happy New Year Coach, let's Go Ravens and hope the 2 teams You cover makes the big game.💜🖤🏈
We are extremely blessed that you’re a Ravens fan. 💯

Coach really love the video's.
I knew Monken had made some serious improvements. Thanks for detailing those changes.

Beautiful stuff
great analysis, this offense could be unstoppable

Really think bmore has developed a dangerous and unique run game.
With planetary level threats in the back field.
Ravens got the #1 Red zone Offense Loving it!!!!!!
I’m interested in how they can more effectively attack high end d-lines like the chiefs and eagles
No I agree the guards suck and I’m glad the coaches recognize they suck. So they been forced to scheme better
We have Brolly and Gohan in the backfield!

I wonder if the defense can counter the dual read by overloading the side the RB is on. Edge forces the read, blitzer takes the RB

I want to see this O-Line dominate in the playoffs. We won't have success if we can't win in the trenches.

Who thinks it’s not a duel read???
