I'd have to disagree, 10/10 every time I use them at night, all I see is night. Complete 100% pitch black night.

You didn't use the night vision correctly. You're supposed to turn on the green laser then wave it around to signal someone next to the object your looking at to turn on a light and illuminate it. You didn't have that other guy, so of course it didn't work. Love your channel ;)

I was subbed to this channel back when it was just in the thousands. So being 200x that now is pretty impressive to me. James just needs another bump from UA-cam by having his stuff more on the recommended page and/or homepage.
About a year ago he only had like 30k subs. He has grown pretty quickly and continues to do so.
Well, i subbed a while ago and im glad i did. Buy YT dont remind me often about his channel...

Nice review! Note that as of today, Sep 26, 2019, I just now saw an ad for these on Newsmax TV (great ap, by the way!) and they make it look every bit as good as some military commando equipment.

The tripod mount makes it nice. At least you're not being charged a stupid amount for the "night vision" feature.

I literally just saw these at the store today, and thought cool! Night vision on a budget, brilliant! But, I remembered your great reviews on other products that has saved me from my thrifty self, lol. So I waited to buy them till I came home and prayed that you checked them out, and my prayers were answered!!

are they ruby coated lens my reflex sight is and if i turn laser on on my ak i cant see it thru the lens
Is the laser adjustable? Maybe it's not lined up with line of sight of binoculars.

Hello from the Sunrise area of Las Vegas. Good info for non locals. If you visit Vegas and get lost at night look for the Stratosphere. I’m happy to see a Vegas UA-camr making some vids. Great ones by the way.

Hey! love these green laser binoculars,I went out into my back yard of my farm and use these binoculars in the dark, but I couldn't see shit until I turned my green laser on and pointed dead at some horses manure and it glowed in the dark while everywhere else was pitch black.Thank you so much for this product.Now I can see what I've been stepping in.

So, these are finally starting to be shown frequently on TV...it was on espn all day yesterday. They are selling 2 for $40, also they’re including the atomic-beam flashlight. Is it possible there made improvements?

Damn. It’s to be expected. Real military grade night vision goggles that don’t use infrared, but rather light sensing particles use analog rather than digital technology that’s been around almost a hundred years. It’s one of the few fields where digital has not surpassed analog yet.
Actually, digital technology works in favor of night vision optics because they can be used day or night w/o harm to the sensors. Analog NV optics will burn out if exposed to daylight.

I have a pair and my green light looks like a half green moon and a shadow of a rooster . but the regular vision seems ok just a little hard to adjust.

Actual night vision doesn't use infrared or a laser.
Actually good NVG do have infrared lights on them for use in total darkness.

Night vision detects visible light while infrared detects radiated heat. Night vision needs a little amount of light while infrared doesn't. Infrared is better for camouflaged targets than night vision. Night vision can be counteracted by bright light while infracted can counteracted by cooling.

I work at the Orange box and saw these for black Friday sale and had to do some product testing and knew within 30 seconds they were crap.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my dad on sale at Home Depot, we tested them that night and I returned them the next day. The laser on mine, even though it was actually a circle, was also defective. It was terribly calibrated far to the right of the field of view, and you can't adjust the sighting whatsoever without breaking the plastic.

Interesting that it is as high as 3R class laser. If you point that laser to a car driver or a pilot when you use the binoculars, you can actually flashblind them.

They performed pretty much the way I expected $40 night vision binoculars to perform, so I guess they lived up to my expectations. LOL
I bought one for my son, tried it but I thought I was using it wrong, went to your review and came to the same conclusion. A bit disappointed, I thought My son and I would have some fun seeing things at night. Thanks for your review.

I saw these at home Depot the other day. I was wondering how they would work. I was right about my doubts. They should at least make it with a system that uses infrared light or infrared laser.
Great review. I was interested in these. But I want to correct you. Infrared detects heat. Night vision uses what we referred to in the military as infra-green. There’s also an infra-blue.
I don't know how much money you've saved me with all your reviews but I want to thank you so much!
When you turn on the laser, the night vision effect is looking at something that's glowing green. When it's far away, the laser can not go far enough so you are just looking at the object with no laser. So I took a thin piece of glass and attached it over the 2 lenses and light, so the glass stops the laser from going any farther but shoots the light across the lens, making the lenses basically green and "night vision"

Hey! I bought one, and the green laser allow me to see in the dark.i pointed the laser down to the ground and the green laser turned my red tomatoes into a green tomatoes. Wow! thanks you Mr.Conman of these amazing binoculars,Your my Hero!
The pattern on that lazer makes me think this pair is defective. I wonder if another pair would be any better.

The quickest way to determine almost perfectly if a product is good or bad before buying is if the batteries are included. This is a truth of life.
I got that as a present. It sucks. the button on top gets hit and when you need it the batteries are dead! Doesn't work well at all!

I'm tempted to buy these just to rip that green laser out of it and build a green laser pointer. I don't have a green laser and you can only get the red ones. I tried making one from that star shower thing but I fried the green laser and I only have two star shower units.
I love that Bell and Howell lightbar. We lost power about a week ago and I brought it down and put it on the center island in my kitchen and it lit up the whole kitchen and dining room. I havent charged it since I first got it. I did mod it to charge on an old phone charger 5VDC.
