The Z Fold 5 from Samsung is the best of the best overall in the foldable phone world here in the United States. The OnePlus Open is excellent, but I think that the Z Fold 5 has a small edge over OnePlus, and the S Pen, and DeX go a long way in making it the best. The Z Fold 5 is also the best Tablet that Samsung makes, and I use it now almost exclusively over my Tab S9 and iPad Pro 12.9" that I have!

I think you bring up a good point Samsung just wants to sell you one device that does everything. Apple wants to sell you multiple devices to do everything and I love device that you can take anywhere. I have a phone and tablet. It’s pretty cool. ❤
I'm definitely impressed with my first venture into foldable phones ( fold 5 ). So far I've not had any reasons to doubt features on this phone. Especially going from a Samsung galaxy note 10+.

I've always been a flip guy, then the. Black Friday deal for the fold happened. I love this thing. I still use my flip mostly at work but once I get home and have chance to relax im all fold. Taking it on a trip soon as my main phone, not going to lie I'll miss the small form factor of the flip but on thebplane and chillin in the hotel I know I'd prefer the fold. I was on the fence about taking it untill I watched this video and you pushed me off onto the fold side when you said it is great to take on trips. Thank you again for another great video.
Went on a couple trips and can confirm I never want to travel without my Fold ever again
That One UI 6.1 update makes it feel even more amazing. The fluidity is just awesome. Traded my 14 Pro Max a few months ago for the Z Fold 5 and I'm still impressed.. I don't think I'll be going back to a slab phone anytime soon.

I can't imagine a phone without an integrated s pen anymore. I use it so much between my phone and my tablet that it's part of me nowadays!

As a S23u owner since new after finally putting down my OP7TPro McLaren which i still use daily on wifi but my s23u is my actual daily phone ive considered this hugh as phone screen

I switched from a Pixel 7 Pro to an S24U and I still don't understand the hype over the S Pen. It feels more like a "nice to have" than a "reason to buy" if that makes sense
That's a case to case basis. If you like to draw, doodle, write poetry or song or whatever, you'll appreciate it more.
I love this phone but HATE the adhesive so many case makers use because i like my phone caseless when I'm im not out and about. After finding a case with no adhesive, I can appreciate the design and thinness of the phone when im at home and pop the case off
good points having that big screen I could stop carrying my phone and a tablet.
The spen is a killer feature for me ..whats a point of a big screen without a pen as you said. Even if i dont need it , i still want it to be there for those times i need it suddenly. If other foldables include spens and where to store them , ill be buying them a s well but for now not any.
Not sure how they can fit it. Already pretty tight inside.
The S Pen is also a lot easier to carry than the Oppo Pen since it's slim enough to tuck into the case.

There is a comparison between zf5 and s24 ultra on another yt channel. And photos from zfold 5 look BETTER. So stop complaining about cameras.
@@Voltar78 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will destory it. Back when I was all in on Samsung the Note 4 was the BEST phone you could buy. It had the best of everything. Samsung has been sandbagging their “flagships” for reasons I can’t figure out. They are not giving the best of everything to these 2000 dollar phones and they should. Stop defending this terrible trend.

Basically not giving us their best upfront. Always holding back so they can have something to give out next year and the year after that. Not being bold enough to just put out the best product possible that they have the ability to for fear of having to wait a year or two to put something new out.

I love my fold 5 I think its lighter and screen is brighter ✨️ the crease I don't see it at all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have a flip 5 also and its amazing too.
I might get a flip 6 if nothing changes on the z fold 6 xD hoping the camera will be better.
The aspect ratios for foldables are generally still not good since most videos and games are made for 16:9 aspect ratios. I have fold 4 and the black bars are quite big. But very good for multitasking.
I wish how I knew how to fix my hinges, got little bit scratched and it hurt my eyes lol

U can get 5 for a good deal now for refurbished model. I got one, it's just like new, never been used. Then u can trade in for a 6 later. And if you can wait, price will always be better, and u will know u will get a 5 or 6.
I know I won't spend like 2000 for a 6, I m happy to have a 5 for 1000. Fe version not for as I don't think it will support s pen. So I go ahead for a 5, and I can trade in later if I want a 6
Sad reality. I bought an 8-inch tablet at the same time I bought the z fold. I would return the tablet if it wasn't covered by my provider. By the end of 2 years, I pretty much had the Movil connection for free😐
Might be the best foldable if you don't care about wasting money. I watched your video about buying a refurbished fold 3 video off ebay a year or two ago and pulled the trigger. Still going strong with my fold 3. I checked on ebay and you can find them for 300-600$ in very good condition. Not to mention you still get updates and security updates through 2026 (2+ years of updates). My only gripe is the battery life on the fold 3 since the snapdragon 888 isn't very optimized. I recommend the fold 3 still.
It's the best if you care about having the best. Buying a 3/4 at this point can provide a great deal with much better value, but it isn't "better".

Hi. Can you compare fold5 and s24u camera? Ive traded in my fold5 for the s24u, and im disappointed with s24u. Fold5 takes better photos in my experience

In terms of software yes but design hardware wise the z fold 6 needs alot of work

My only problem with the fold is when u showed your zfold 5 and that crease it was very viewable .this is why people like me assumue thats how the phone will look in time .even if you guys say you dont notice it
The crease isn't an issue, you'll forget it's there the day you get one. The lights he's using to film are reflecting more and making it stand out more. It's a foldable screen....we never would've imagined this could be possible 10 years ago.

the only issue I have with the fold 5 is the outside narrow display, it looks ridiculous. I hope they can make the outside screen a big bigger tho
It depends on what you want. If you want better camera, get Ultra. If you want bigger screen for whatever, get the Fold. At least for now
I have the 5 and im moving over to the oneplus open. This phone is meh and my battery life is horrid at this point.

The main reason the Fold 5 is the best is because of the software. The OnePlus Open is better otherwise.
I traded in my iPhone 14 pro max for it….. I kick myself for that now. Its a great phone but its so heavy. I went and bought a cheap iPhone 12 just to give my wrists a break from the weight of the ZF5.

I'm still rocking my zfold3. I find it hard to switch to the zfold5. I'll say for the fence sitting public to go get an older zfold and avoid the sticker shock.
I have the flip 5 man pretty nice pocketable phone that fits in your hand. Samsung is the best right now

I agree, the Z Fold 5 is the best foldable on the market. Samsung's ecosystem, watch, earbuds, and app optimization provide the best Android experience.The larger form factor is great for content while the slim outer screen is great for one handed use. Cameras are great. My only complaint would be the lack of the crazy 200x zoom
I just got the one ui 6.1 with the AI stuff. I will never ever use them and also they fucked up the navigation bar so I have to use goodlock to get back the old style. Samsung is dropping balls left right and center

I took a hard look at the Fold 5 and after trying it, walked away. Outside of the off kilter small display, it felt like two S22U’s tape together. Functionality was good, it was just too bloody thick IMO. It would be a much better device if Sammy found some way of making it significantly thinner.

The fold 5 is really bad.
The cameras are old and not good specialy the one behind the screen. It is like a 2008 webcam.
It needs so much time to adjust the colors and focus. You open it up in the twilight and it paints your face red, specially in low light situations
They copied the iPhone design and now it feels like a brick in your hand.
The colors of the screens are looking washed out in comparison to my old fold 2, so the display quality droped but the price took up.
Sometimes the Touchscreen is glitching and doing things on its own. Without activating the mode to use glows on it.
This dude is literally a Samsung fan boy and has used any Chinese brands
