Thank you so much. I put an old tape in, but it wouldn't play and I noticed there was a bit of mold growing on the tape in the reel. Nothing would play in the VCR after that. This technique got it working again.
already clean the head few times,but when put tape for play it will play few seconds and then no more picture only showing- problem head status-,what to do?
@@dvgamerepair3448 i found some on amazon if intersted. its ~$30 USD for 1 gallon. not sure if thats good pricing or not but its better than nothing and its 99.9%.

Does it help clean out the audio of the vcr
Should I use air duster to blast it out if there's a lot of dust inside?
Can you use a 1st aid antiseptic wipe to clean cylinder heads??

i luckily found some 99.9% IPA a few months back. when i went to get more it was basically impossible.
It's one of those things i put off until it was too late. When I finally started searching, I quickly realized the mistake I made. Hahaha
