    I love the fact that you are dropping all of this incredible history of these cars, buying and selling multi million dollar historically significant vehicles but are just hanging out in a ripped up pair of jeans. True car guy just like the rest of us but on a much larger financial scale.

      I understand where you're coming from here, but my suspicion is that they're most likely designer Jeans that came with rips in the first place. Not trying to say he isn't a car guy, just saying that I doubt those rips came from getting his hands dirty and wrenching..

    "I never got a phone call from you" - And would you imagine that? Totally deflecting the fact that phones work both ways...They wanted your deal to fail John so they could take the other one, but were too spineless to just tell you. Total negotiation and operation in bad faith on their end. I'd be naming and shaming that dealer, so hats off to you for being bigger than that.

    I saw this car parked in the center of Luxembourg a few months back ! It was parked in such a tight spot between cars i even wondered how the guy got out of the car! It did have the big SV stickers in the quarter panel and the giant wing! I remeber thinking that a guy that parks a Murcielago like i would park a citroen c1.... has to be doing very well in life! Sorry your deal fell through... but these people are "special" as hell! Imagine dealing with them on a daily bassis.....!!!!

      1) Scissor doors open upward, not outward. Makes parking tight between cars MUCH easier. 2) The cars probably parked AFTER the Lambo, boxing it in, as no one with a lambo wants a door banging into their car.

    John you did not close the deal as stated in contract. As a business man you know this. Closing the deal does not mean texting a screen shot that the money is sent on the contract expire date. Like the lady said you should have called her earlier in the week if you knew the contract would not be closed in time. You always twist the story to seem it was always the other person's fault while trying to sound sincere and genuine. Good on the lady for selling the car for the higher price and sticking to her word.

      I agree, by not completing on time he gave her a backdoor out of the deal. Also I don't know about US but if I send an international transfer, once I instruct the bank the money is out of my account I can no longer cancel the transfer. Perhaps it's possible in the US 🤷‍♂

    Yes, this car was on Oahu years back.
    The owner would drive it to Ala Moana and drink all night at the bars on the forth floor.
    At the end of his evening, he and his new chicks he met would catch a taxi home together and he'd have his guy watch over the car through the night: he had personal security for his Lamborghini.
    I was a bartender and remember he was very nice to everyone around and tipped generously. That was almost 10 years ago.

    This story sounds a lot like my first Lamborghini purchase years ago. The sellers started out being very nice, open & honest but soon things changed for the worse. It turned out the car was owned by 3 siblings who couldn’t agree on anything. I’m amazed they managed to even buy a car between them then I learned they inherited the car from their dad & its was just one small part of a very large estate their dad had left them. He should’ve left everything to charity because his kids were the most horribly spoiled,ungrateful sh1ts ever to have drawn breath.

  • @johnz8112
    @johnz8112 2 роки тому +8

    Nobody did anything wrong, they just wanted more money and saw the opportunity to make more. Unfortunately they were in a rush and did not even negotiate with John, maybe they wanted to avoid an awkward conversation. The real question is who is this person who magically makes a bid from Canada all of a sudden? It beg's the question if someone else found out about this deal in your circle and then reached out to this person and bought it under your feet.
