Lolo, Queenie V. Prof Ed3-M 2. The media shaped my perception of reality by assisting me in gathering information on a variety of topics as well as forming opinions and making judgments on numerous subjects. It is the media that keeps me/us updated and informed about what is going on in the world, and from which everyone may learn something. But sometimes most of us are unaware that we could be misled rather than informed. As a result, we must be well-versed.
Faelnar, Jezyl Ann A. Prof Ed 3 - K Media has influenced my view of reality to such an extent that it now plays a significant role in my progress and depth of understanding. For instance, it opened me to a lot of things that I am not aware of before. Like realities of social issues. However, let us also be careful in consuming media-related news because some might be sheep in a wolf's clothing.
Burlaza, Shenna Marie Prof Ed -K For me, everyday media influenced my view of reality like helping me to gain more knowledge about everything like possibilities, awareness and how to be a responsible user in terms of sharing, reacting and posting. This also help in developing my critical thinking and improving my 21st century skills. As I let myself be engage to this media, I realize that it is very essential to each and everyone of us especially to us students because it gives our life into different perspective and I can say that it also gives color to our dull life and world.
Generan, Ryan Paul I. Prof Ed 3 - K Media provides a space wherein differe t perspectives and multiple realities are presented to viewers of varying backgrounds. Because of this, media contributes in my view and understanding of reality. It provides me the opportunity to look beyond the things I know, learning and discovering new things and correcting the misconceptions and false information I had consumed. It helps me build a view of reality wherein I make modifications when needed depending on what I've learned. Media plays a role on how I shape my reality and my perspective.
Pedaria, Shaina M. Prof Ed 3-K Media affects us in many ways. One example is that on how it manipulates our decision and actions in life like by being deceived by what is shown in the internet. Most people do not look now on facts. They just believe on what they have seen. Well for me, as an individual who often spends time in social medias. I have observed that my thoughts are being driven to what I have seen in my news feed. I get to know many things. I learn and be updated on what is going on, not just locally but also international. I get a lot of ideas that helped me become prepared for what's coming and made me realize and think through a lot of how to apply those. I became aware of the reality. The way our world is now. And what are the things that as a student I can do.
Ganda, Benjamin M. BSED Filipino 2 (M) Throughout the decades, since the birth of Media, it has affected and changed our lives. It influenced our thoughts, manner, and the way we live in society. Some of the effects of media today is the prominent amount of fallacies in the internet. What we can do is to use media critically so that we can assure a great source of information. It is also important to have a good media footprints as it will guarantee better relationships and better impression to others in the global village.
Masayon, Merjulyn M. Prof Ed 3-K Media has influenced my view of reality in a way that is beneficial for my growth and knowledge. With the information that I see on different media platforms, it has influenced me to become an argus-eyed individual in viewing reality. It is indeed beneficial to become one since it will help me to not be easily swayed nor be one of the many who just simply agree or simply believe such issues without fact checking. Without media, I definitely wouldn't know how to be an argus-eyed individual since there are no much challenges that would stimulate me to be vigilantly observant on the things that I see.
Sabandal, Anaclito, Jr. M. BSED 2- Mathematics, Section M Media’s influence in my life has never been too shallow nor too corrosive yet its impact in how I perceive reality hits me too differently but in a challenging and complex aspect. Media can be vividly observed as authoritative and influential it is in paving one’s future. One clear example of this in my part is that media greatly affects my well-being that shaken my view of reality, from how it gives me relevant news that considerably boost my self-esteem and many tempting irrelevant news that agitates my control over my rationality. From unnecessary online posts that undermine my personal confidence, which causes me to criticize my own personal decisions in life, and it has been my personal flaw that has bound me from doing my best. Unnecessary online trends that puts many lives in danger, of which confuses me greatly and questions whether my reality has been already manipulated by people behind their monitor or was I literate enough to defend myself? Nevertheless of what is yet to be decided, it is apparent that the media is not only influential, but also frightening enough to exert unprecedented influence over our reality as a result of our very own conduct. If this pace of ignorance continues to sky-rocket, surely our future will be more than challenging for us to handle or should I say nearly impossible to handle.
Diez,Sandra N. BEED 2-J The Media influenced my view of reality in providing a basis for understanding and analyze all of the media messages that I've been encounter daily, equipping me to make the right choices about what I read, watch, and listen to. Media provides me with knowledge that expands my learning and awareness, causing me to wonder more about anything as well as to foster informed and critical thinking. It also assists me in becoming more knowledgeable and perceptive members of society. For example to examine information it is very critical to see if the main idea makes sense and to provide facts before I trust the information. Media has become an integral part of my life to question what I've seen and consider before clicking or sharing false information ,being responsible and educatable user of any media platform.
Adolfo, Elgiemae B. Prof Ed 3-K Media influences my view in reality by changing my view of life. Technology is widely spread to the entire world and so it's stylistic but then the media makes me see the deep knowledge of every perspective and understand every aspect of life. It is my way to comprehend my insight between my surroundings and the media in order to be aware of true or false information. The act of spreading ideas has always been widely tolerated throughout media and engaging on it without reviewing its data that maybe it’s from fake sources so it’s always been a hindrance for me to apply and learn because both will always be different but I have to choose wisely what should I resonate for myself in order to become a better person.
Lorica, Marie Assumpta G. Prof Ed 3-K Answer: My view of reality has been influenced by media due to the different contents which were formed through levels of perception from every individual. As a result, I always do my best to fact-check every data and information that I received on a daily basis. This made me changed the way how I see reality as people perceive things differently. Afterwards, I understand that everyone has their own reality and I have my own reality too. Nevertheless, it did not stop me to become more vigilant about protecting myself and my loved ones against misinformation especially these days - where anything from anyone can be posted using media.
Macul, Sharmaine T. Prof Ed 3 - K Media has greatly influenced my view of reality, to the point that it made me think that everything posted online is also the same with what is actually happening outside media. And for a lot of times, I have proven myself wrong. For once, I used to admire celebrity couples showing their love through posting sweet photos on social media. It made me think how happy they really are. But when time passes by, there comes the revelations of the different kinds of abuses mostly experienced by the woman, even before that sweet photos online. It somehow made me think that not everything we see is what it seems in reality. And abuses, in whatever form, should always and forever be not tolerated.
Temon, Sean Patrick BSED E2-K Media has influenced my view of reality by making me aware that media makes a huge contribution to a person’s progress and learning and deep understanding of things. It may be able to make the difficult thing easier but one needs to take into account the negatives it can bring.
Betonio, Robelyn BEED 2-J Answer: Media has greatly influenced my view of reality in such a way that it blocks the reality of life. For instance, social media. Honestly speaking, I always let social media define my self-worth. Back then, whenever I scrolled through my news feed, I became discontented and envious when I saw others accomplishing more than I. It's disappointing to know that I compared their online world with my offline world and I felt like I didn't measure up. I anguished also over the number of likes my posts received, and I let my online engagement defined my self-worth. At that moment, I realized that why should I let social media defined my self-worth? When in fact, my self-worth is beyond measure and even social media cannot measure it.
Magpatoc, Anna Marie A. BEED 2-J Media literacy is an expanded conceptualization of literacy that includes the ability to access and analyze media messages as well as create, reflect and take action, using the power of information and communication to make a difference in the world. If we have these media literacy skills, we are able to free our minds. We are able to make our own judgments and choices. And we are able to express our own views creatively and effectively. To me, having a media literate society is the essence of having a democratic society and a market-based economy. It is the essence of having the ability to both enhance and protect our precious freedoms. It presumes that we, the people, are smart and capable and responsible. It reinforces that expectation that, if we are responsible, others should exercise responsibility, as well. It assumes that learning is a lifelong process that doesn't just take place through textbooks or in certain demographic areas.
Certainly, Media influenced my view of reality and point of view by gathering and conveying plenty of information on a wide range of topics as well as make informed judgements and decisions, analyzing information whether credible or false so that we must be media literate in the 21st century
Cudera, Anne Margarete BSED-2E,M Media has influenced an overwhelming force of how things appear to me. Reality, just like media, is always unfair. And when it is unfair you don't expect things go usually on your ideals. Through media I was able to witness the state of the world as it is rather than what I might want it to be.
Padon, Manser Prof Ed3- J Answer: Media has a big impact throughout my existence in this incredible growing world. I discovered that the media expanded news, knowledge and information. Share information from a certain part of the world to another part. People learned their rights through the influence of the media. Media also helps to find a means of using our rights. Media work as a link between the government and the people. The various government policies and initiatives are transferred through the media. Media also help to personalize our personality. Media is very large and all the information is obtained in contact on electronic or periodic devices. Media also help to provide real events of all the news before you. And if there is no means of media, the world would have gone underrated without knowing anything.
Duarte, Ella Marie P. Prof Ed 3-L Answer: Media has a huge part in my life, initially. What we see online doesn't always mean that it is true or based on facts and that's how media influenced my view in reality. For example is the social media, specifically the misinformation and disinformation that made this "media web" an unsafe place where misleading and fictitious facts appear to be genuine to deceive people. Perhaps, we can fight this issue by being media literate. We also take part in what information we feed our mind. Therefore, always remember to fact-check and trust only reliable source.
Kirong, Camille Rosejoy BSED F2-M Answer: Personally, media challenges my reaction and perception of everything that it shows me. Media without a doubt provide us with indirect representations of reality and in this sense, I came to a point where I always compare what I see in media and what I really observe in the physical world that surrounds me. I confronted everything that I observe, I did not let it flow. Honestly, it has also tested how I care for my mental health. However, because of this real-life experience as my example, I learned how to react accordingly to certain news, and information, evaluate if everything that I see and read is legitimate, and able to analyze it. I may not control the adverse flow of information in different aspects of media, but I can control how I get access to it which for me is a matter of self-discipline. Thus, media change the way I think, interact and react in a better way. Now, I don't let the media destroy my peace anymore.
Susalta, Jessa Mae M. BEED 2- J Media influence my view of reality in both negative and positive side, but I will focus on the positive side that influence me as an individual. We can see alot of inspiration, motivation and different kind of things that encourage and enlightens people on media. Like for example, on TikTok I can see alot of students sharing their hardwork and success through media, which imparts a great influence for the unprivileged students who are not capable of buying everything they want to support their educational expenses. So this kind of video on media, encourage and motivates me to strive hard and never let the poverty hinders my success because I thought before it is very hard to reach your dreams without money but, I am wrong because the main thing that will let anyone to success is hardwork and determination. So I can say that, no matter how toxic some people on media, there are still people who influence and encourage people to strive hard and I am one of them who is motivated and striving hard for my dreams.
Grabino,Roxanne Marie Prof ed 3 -K Answer : Media influence my view of reality by making us aware just like how we react in life ,by the help of media we can notice more and search for bitter solutions im everything we ask for especially from the trend post .
Flores, Leah T. BEED 2-J Media influenced my view of in a way that I get to know which are the things that are right and wrong in reality. Comparing the things that are realistic or not. Somehow Media is an eye opener for me since through media i get to learn a lot of things such as knowing the reliable and credible sources in reading some articles. Knowing the things to do and not to do on social media. Media is an awareness for us to know the reality or not.
Jalique, Ryan R. BSED M2-M Answer: Media do influences my view of reality in the way that it helps me to view and to know the reality of what is really happening in today's world. As media has been bounded throughout my life, it is seemingly an important factor that it gives a shed of light towards the understanding of the uncertainties of reality and as far as I am concerned, reality is very too far to be understand with. Media also influences my view of reality as I am able to see the deep meaning through it and I was able to see the essence of being up-to-date today and it helps me to realize that what we see in the media isn't the reality itself but just a mere representation/ or a piece of picture subjectively based on how one percept on it for media is being governed with such fact truths but also distorted and altered truths. That is why, I do intend to be more thorough of the use of media but on a positive note, it helps me to become more reflective and directive towards understanding the real definition and essence between media and the real world today.
Jessica O. Cadavos BSED F2-M Medua influenced my view of reality because it enables students to recognize biases, comprehend context, and evaluate information so that they can use and express it successfully. It's a set of talents that can be applied throughout one's life, affecting one's schooling, job, political involvement, and personal life.
Betonio, Jerico D. BEED 2-J Answer: Media have influenced much about my reality perspective because as for me, they are the only source of information on what is the latest and the most updated happening in our society and those who are involved on it. Thousands of things are reported to us by media now and then realizing its important responsibilities like using them to construct meaning about political and social issues. Directly and indirectly, our views have been influenced for we believe to that media must tell us the truth, what really happened, as best as they can; that they may give us some interpretation of the events. Truly, our perception on reality is greatly affected by this powerful voice, however, I also realize that I need to weigh all the information I could get because media dont always give the real truth as many people spread fake news on this platforms.
Labrado, Reena Marie V. Prof Ed 3- L ANSWER: One thing of easily getting access to informations nowadays is through media and I admit the fact that when I miss a lot of happenings, and feeling a little bit behind of what's currently going on in our world, it is to the media I run to. However, because of countless cases of misinformations, I always make sure that the informations I get are from reliable sources. Through the help of media which is able to shape one's perpectives, although we have different views in life or the things we believe in, through others opinions and perspectives, I get to also shape my own perspectives. I don't ridicule what others say or think because it is their own perspective and what's mine is my own, so whatever the situation is, I just show and give them my respect. To be honest I was quite biased in the past about famous figures in our society, I will not mention them anymore, but more on about talks about whose truly right and whose wrong, but through media, and learning about different perspectives and gaining more trustworthy informations, I get to changed myself to not easily take sides, or make conclusions, because each one of us have different perspectives in life that deserves to be respected, but also we should be wary of people who tries to manipulate our judgements.
In my perspective, Media is powerful to manipulate people one's perspectives it's whether the person accesses information from their sources to analyze the information critically or not. That's why its really important to think wisely before we swallow the information in reality.
Acasio, Jenena M. ProfEd 3 - K The media influenced my perception of reality in such a way that I realized how pitiful we are as humans and how much we really need to be media literate. We live in a technological age where we can learn anything and everywhere as long as we have the means. The issue is that, despite our easy access to information, we have failed to be informed internet citizens. We never learn to distinguish between truth and bluff. Despite being taught repeatedly, we never learn how to verify information. A common example is that we criticize people, especially celebrities, on social media despite knowing nothing about them personally and having only read some news about them on social media, which is often biased and only spreads one side of the story. Despite knowing how much it may hurt and affect him/her, we still continue to make harsh and hurtful comments to him/her and spread the information to others. With this, it taught me that we believe things because we want to, not because they are true. That is why we, the young ones and future educators, must be media literate in order to control the spread of fake news and minimize its propagation.
Gaña, Anna Marie E. BSED-F2 (M) The Influenced of media has an effect on many aspects of human life, individual views and beliefs. Media also plays very a important role and has influence in virtually every aspect of our lives. Earth has become a global village due to media. We can know about any part of the world within minutes, through television and internet. Media is the best way to spread knowledge, information and news from one part of the world to the other.
Grace V Riego Media influence my view of reality by how i am affected by media platforms. For example, media influences me by comparing myself to unrealistic images on social media of what I believe I should look like. We are now sorrounded by media where everything we think and act media is involved. I often see media a tool to expose reality but somehow as times goes by i am being manipulated by it since media influences my own view of reality.
Carbonilla, Jessa Mae L. Prof Ed 3-L Answer: Media has influenced my view of reality by thinking critically on what is true and not. It plays a crucial role to me because through media I can know about news, issues, and information that can help on the progress of my learning. Hence, I am doing my best to be a media literate by doing fact-check because some information that I gained are biased and untrue. By doing this, it helped me to be attentive and responsible on an online world.
Porol, Rovi Ann S. Prof Ed3 -J Answer: Media influence my view of reality in a negative way, for example putting my self in a lowest degree of self confidence. Through media, we can see how people use to go with the trends and consider that as today's standards of being a youth. I'm not that active in latest trends because I have my own limits in stepping out from my comfort zone and that I felt like I was low and out of place when I am in crowded places. But, in reality I shouldn't be harsh to my self because the trends that I can see through media can never be the reason for me to regard myself as an outcast or late bloomer. Sometimes, we just have to be aware in what we see and get from media so that it could not lead us in harbouring negativities within ourselves.
Rosal, Vanessa. BEED 2-J Media really has an impact on my view of reality that it now plays a big role in my development and awareness. Media supplies me with the majority of awareness of what is going on in our social surroundings. Media particularly news media that use newspapers, television, or the internet made me aware of several things I was previously unaware of like societal issues' realities. However, when it comes to media-related news, we must be cautious about what is true and not.
Bibat Maretoni M. PROF ED 3-L Each social media site has its own personality and purpose, that social media has had a very deep impact on our lives. The media influences my view of reality because they are often the only source of that reality, reality that world that I see on Facebook and other social media sites is not a true and real world. It’s just a creation of people. But also, social media has established new ways of communicating and creating perceptions between businesses and consumers.
Amancio, John Carlo A. BSED E2 K How has media influenced your view of reality? Media influenced my view of reality by being aware of what is happening in the world. Media keeps me updated and help me to be aware of what is happening around us.
Cheng, Chezel Ann V. ProfEd 3-L Media influence my reality by being aware of my environment. Through media I was informed of the events that is happening in the society. I was able to be informed what has happened and how myself can affect the world. With many news in the media I stay informed and sharp, able to think critically and rationally of the turn of events.
Maureal, Rosemarie B. ProfEd3-K The media has influenced my view of reality by observing what is true and what is not. The media has changed my perception of reality, causing me to constantly think critically in order to see more perspectives and comprehend more of what is in reality. Every day, the media provides me with information and knowledge that has helped me grow into a much better person and improved my awareness of our surroundings because the media is one of our primary sources of information about what is currently happening in today's world.
Alaiza Surigao Cimafranca BSED-F 2 M When media refers to the mass media, it is sometimes treated as a singular form, as in: the media has shown great interest in these events. Many people think this use is incorrect and that media should always be treated as a plural form: the media have shown great interest in these events.
Rin, Riecy R. BSED F2-(M) The media influences my view of reality. It helps me become a better and more updated citizen. With the help of the media, it improves my knowledge and also helps me understand the situations that happen in our society. The media also helps me to act professionally in terms of giving comments on posts and identifying fake news and real news. It is important to engage ourselves in the media world in order for us to be updated and knowledgeable.
Español, Nikka T. BEED1-J Prof Ed3- J Nowadays, media has changed our lives since it enables us, as individuals, to think critically and to improve our skills and abilities, as well as media influences how people behave. The media has an impact on my perspective of reality. It helps me to become a better and more informed citizen. The media influences and enhances our knowledge, thoughts, manners, and comprehension of circumstances and how we live in a society with the help of the media. The media is a tremendous tool for influencing people all around the world. Through the development of media literacy, both teachers and students can profit from the role of the media in education. As a result, media literacy has a big impact, especially in the classroom, where teachers and students can quickly access and search for information when they need it. It also helps me learn to think critically and act professionally when it comes to commenting on media articles, sharing, reacting, clicking, and distinguishing between fake and real news. As a result, while media literacy is a vital and useful tool that we may swiftly employ, it is equally critical that we engage in the media arena to stay informed and current.
Almacin, Angelo S. BSED E2-L How has media influenced your view of reality? Give one example. - As years passed, media has been enhanced together with technology and It has been used to spread information and awareness. These past months, media has affected my perception of reality by influencing me to be insightful and be aware of certain information and events happening in our country and the world. Weeks ago, everyone has been looking forward to the election. Most Filipinos are very vocal about their presidential bets and I was still wondering who to vote for. With the help of media, I was able to decide who to vote among the candidates. Media helped me to see things clear and understand the differences among the presidential aspirants. It gave me reliable information that were useful for me to properly choose my bet.
Ibacitas, Julie Ann Mae BSED K Media has altered my perception of reality in ways that taught me to criticize media representation and discern fact from fantasy. For example, the influence of social media, I have discovered that social media possess a negative impact on my self-perception and mental health. It was triggered by comparing myself to unrealistic representations of what I think I should look like on social media. My doubts grow, causing me to be unhappy with my appearance, then I realize it is not helping me overcome my views of life, so I shift my focus to the main functions of media. Now I want to remind everybody to use social media in a good way. People should use it to inform about events, phenomena, processes, and developments in society to warn of impending danger, mediate between people, to be the medium of communication in society rather than using media to conceal real problems of society and as a concerned citizens, the change begins with us, let us cope with the significant challenges of everyday life using media.
TAHOP, MERJORY M. BSED-F 2 M 2. Media makes me understand the new generation , what kind of world I live in. It makes me realize that without the media we can't easily improve our lives because the media has the great role and impact to us. Media can be negative nor positive. Media can manipulate or influence the people in controlling the world , like i said in both positive and negative ways. The media also can cause in changing of human behavior , living style and moral thoughts and consequences.
Sacro, Rigil Ann E. Prof Ed 3- K Answer: The Media influenced my view of reality through, not doubted social media can negatively affect a person's self-perception and mental health. This is caused by comparing ourselves to unrealistic images on social media of what we believe we should look like. This can then lead to dissatisfaction with our appearance and perception of oneself. Also, it creates awareness among the common people and make them eighlightened citizens. It creates public opinion about the burning issues of the country, exposes scandals and builts the confidence of people. We learn about the working plans and programmes that the government is undertaken.
Ubos, Mera M. BSED-E2 K In today's world media has influenced into our lives because through media it helps us people in reality to think it critically and also it helps to enhanced skills, abilities as well as media helps how human behavior behave. Thus, media is a great tool in which people around the world are being shaped with the innovation and the development of media resources. Perhaps, media is one factor in which people could still use specifically in manipulating things to do.However, media plays an important role especially in the field education in which both teachers and students may able to use with the innovation of media literacy. With that, media literacy give big impact specifically in the classroom setting in which both teachers and learners can easily to access and to search it what are needed the most in order to get some information through the use of media. Therefore, media literacy is very useful and helpful tools in which we can easily used it specially if there are things that we might not yet know the possible solutions of our different problems that we take in our real life situation.
Bungcaras, Jann Perrie C. ProfEd 3 - L How has media influenced your view of reality? Give one example. Media influence my reality by making me aware of the things that becomes trending, fad and is happening. Through media I knew about what is going on in the world, the events that take place that might change the world and the developments brought by technological advancement. It makes me more involved in society which makes me more aware that the world doesn’t only revolve around me but to others as well.
Cris Ann Aus Gerong BSED F-2 M ✓The media has influenced my view of reality by being aware of what is happening around, as a result many have changed and issues have spread rapidly in our society. For example, the issues that are happening in our world that we see in the media, because of this, everyone has become more aggressive and become more aware of everything that is happening around us. But no matter what we see in the media, we must still think about what is good for ourselves and not affect the spread of unpleasant issues around.
Napuli , Shiela J. BSED 2-M 2.How has media influence your view of reality? Give one example Media influence my view of reality by being a media literate in which as a student we should be responsible in evaluating data. Given there is an information /news spreading in the internet or what we call "viral"in our millennial term. As a media literate, We should visit the site if it is reliable and accurate. We should not just shared it directly to our social media platforms because we don't even know if it is valid or not .Let us be responsible netizen . It is not always true of what we already seen. Not all the trends are always right.
Rodas, Shaina Mae A. BEED 2-J To be honest, the media has a terrible impact on my self-esteem and mental health. This is triggered by comparing myself to unrealistic ideals of what i think i should look like on social media. This might lead to unhappiness with my appearance and self-perception. But I also feel that I should should not be easily mislead by what I see in the media, because this is not reality. Therefore, I should learn to love myself.
Martizo, Jocelyn Mae L. BSED E2-L Answer: The media influenced my perception of reality in such a way that I can negatively affect a person’s self-perception and mental health. This is caused by comparing myself to unrealistic images on social media of what I believe should I look like. This can then lead to dissatisfaction with my appearance and self-perception. Comparing myself to others on social media may have become an unintentional habit I have picked up. However, it could be negatively affecting my mental health. So, I learn my lesson to what I see on social media isn’t reality. Images can be edited and staged, so don’t compare yourself to something that isn’t real. You never know what’s going on in their life. The person who you think is happy with their body image and appearance may not be in reality. It will only stall your progress. Don’t waste your energy, focusing on other people’s lives.
Integro, Karen S BSED F-2 M Media literacy has shaped my view of reality through which I have to do some research to know what exactly is true information because nowadays "false information" is relevant in this generation and numerous media users are victims and some are still blinded by reality.
Palingcod, Vera Marie C. BSED-F2 M 2. How has media influenced your view of reality? Give one example. • Media influenced my view of reality by having a negatively and positively affect to a person like self-perception and mental health. Example, My cousin's world is turning in media now that he has a computer. And he has a low percent of social interaction because he didn't know or he never practiced or experienced social interaction. He spends his time on media and has a lot of friends, but in reality he is very shy and afraid to talk to someone because he is always looking at his computer without interaction to someone even if his brother or sister. He has high confidence in the media but the opposite in reality. That's why we need to practice ourselves neutral living in reality and in the media to know the boundary and to awaken to the truth.
RONA MAE BAÑOC BSED-M2(M) 2. Media has influenced my view of reality by making me aware that media makes a huge contribution to a person’s progress and learning. Media has a great role and impact on our lives because through media we can have a connection and communication with our loved ones, family, and friends that are miles apart from us. Also, it helps us to improve our lives and learn new things.
COMAHIG, JAYNNE MAE T. BEED 2 - J How has media influenced your view of reality? Give one example. • Because they are frequently the only source of that reality, the media has an impact on our view of it. Media has become an integral part of our lives and has a significant impact on our daily lives. As new technology becomes more powerful, it has had an impact on our society and daily lives. The media has played an important role in educating the public and educating us about their basic rights and how to defend them.
Gutierrez, Melissa R. BSED F2 - M Answer: Media has a big contribution about my views of reality, because it helps me to become a responsible and an updated citizen. With the help of media, it improves my knowledge about things because of the articles and news that I read online or offline. As a result, I already knew about what, when and how to comment or act nicely with other people, especially in the digital world. Feels like "media literacy" just a fancy pseudo-academic way to pretend the "death of the author" concept doesn't exist. People drawing different conclusions from art has been normal for generations.
"viewing media from a single perspective is not media literacy. Media literacy requires the ability and willingness to view and analyze media from multiple perspectives" Media literacy is just one of many literacies. What's pseudo-academic about it? Technology is commonly used throughout the world, so it's creative, but the media also causes me to gain a thorough understanding of all perspectives and aspects of life. It is a way for me to obtain insight into my surroundings and the media in order to recognize accurate and misleading information. The act of spreading ideas has always been widely tolerated throughout the media, and engaging in it without first reviewing its information, maybe from biased sources, has always been a barrier for me to apply and learn, because both will always be different, but I must choose wisely what I should engage it for myself in order to become successful.

One of the social media applications that I have been used is Facebook. Most of the time Facebook is the only app that I access when I am bored and if I have nothing else to do. Facebook has a countless and endless information being posted and shared. The negative influences that it brought are; we knew that here are information that is fabricated and sugar coated to persuade the audience. And sometimes because of its flowery and fabricated words I get trick and believe the information I read and blocks me from the reality of what really the truth is. Because of so much information that freely available for us, sometimes I forget to evaluate and read thoroughly the information about a certain person or issues and end up giving bias judgement. This is common to happen that causes serious arguments. Another thing is that, it makes me away far from my the real world. Sometimes I forgot to look around and appreciate the world around me because of so much attention pour out to social media. So I realised that I just wasted my time spent on social media when I can have quality time with my family or friends without gadgets. It is the media that keeps me/us updated and informed about what is going on in the world, and from which everyone may learn something. But sometimes most of us are unaware that we could be misled rather than informed. As a result, we must be well-versed.

I have observed that my thoughts are being driven to what I have seen in my news feed. I get to know many things. I learn and be updated on what is going on, not just locally but also international. Media has influenced my view of reality in a way that is beneficial for my growth and knowledge.

Media’s influence in my life has never been too shallow nor too corrosive yet its impact in how I perceive reality hits me too differently but in a challenging and complex aspect.

It also assists me in becoming more knowledgeable and perceptive members of society. For example to examine information it is very critical to see if the main idea makes sense and to provide facts before I trust the information. My view of reality has been influenced by media due to the different contents which were formed through levels of perception from every individual.

Media has greatly influenced my view of reality, to the point that it made me think that everything posted online is also the same with what is actually happening outside media.

Media has greatly influenced my view of reality in such a way that it blocks the reality of life. For instance, social media. Honestly speaking, I always let social media define my self-worth. Back then, whenever I scrolled through my news feed, I became discontented and envious
when I saw others accomplishing more than I.

Media literacy is an expanded conceptualization of literacy that includes the ability to access and analyze media messages as well as create, reflect and take action, using the power of information and communication to make a difference in the world.

Media work as a link between the government and the people. The various government policies and initiatives are transferred through the media. Media also help to personalize our personality. Media has a huge part in my life, initially.

Answer: Personally, media challenges my reaction and perception of everything that it shows me.

Media influence my view of reality in both negative and positive side, but I will focus on the positive side that influence me as an individual.

Answer: Media do influences my view of reality in the way that it helps me to view and to know the reality of what is really happening in today's world.

One thing of easily getting access to informations nowadays is through media and I admit the fact that when I miss a lot of happenings, and feeling a little bit behind of what's currently going on in our world, it is to the media I run to.

The media influenced my perception of reality in such a way that I realized how pitiful we are as humans and how much we really need to be media literate.

Answer: Media influence my view of reality in a negative way, for example putting my self in a lowest degree of self confidence.

The Media influenced my view of reality through, not doubted social media can negatively affect a person's self-perception and mental health.

How has media influenced your view of reality? Give one example.

✓The media has influenced my view of reality by being aware of what is happening around, as a result many have changed and issues have spread rapidly in our society. For example, the issues that are happening in our world that we see in the media, because of this, everyone has become more aggressive and become more aware of everything that is happening around us. But no matter what we see in the media, we must still think about what is good for ourselves and not affect the spread of unpleasant issues around.

Media influence my view of reality by being a media literate in which as a student we should be responsible in evaluating data.

To be honest, the media has a terrible impact on my self-esteem and mental health. This is triggered by comparing myself to unrealistic ideals of what i think i should look like on social media. This might lead to unhappiness with my appearance and self-perception. But I also feel that I should should not be easily mislead by what I see in the media, because this is not reality. Therefore, I should learn to love myself.

Answer:
The media influenced my perception of reality in such a way that I can negatively affect a person’s self-perception and mental health.

Media literacy has shaped my view of reality through which I have to do some research to know what exactly is true information because nowadays "false information" is relevant in this generation and numerous media users are victims and some are still blinded by reality.

Answer:
Media has a big contribution about my views of reality, because it helps me to become a responsible and an updated citizen. With the help of media, it improves my knowledge about things because of the articles and news that I read online or offline. As a result, I already knew about what, when and how to comment or act nicely with other people, especially in the digital world. I am updated about the news and issues that are circulating online or offline and lastly, I can help other people to distinguish between fake news and factual news. That's why we need to engage ourselves in the world of media in order to know or to be updated about the happenings in our society or to the whole world.

Media has a negative impact on a person's self-esteem and mental health. This is produced by comparing ourselves to unrealistic ideals of what we think we should look like on social media. This might lead to feelings of insecurity about your looks and self-perception. Thus, we may have developed an inadvertent habit of comparing ourselves to others on social media. However, it may have a negative impact on our mental health.

Through creating a suitable precision of properly understanding text of internet that really can perceive or end up facing regular basis and to enlighten your ideas in picking what might be the categorical imperative in context of human communication platforms that have the same component like current events, entertainment, film, game, and And etc, media had also contributed massively to my vision of the world.Media literacy could also allow me to improve my expertise in the field in terms of understanding, analyzing, and exercising critical reasoning. It also portrays me as irresponsible and ignorant as a member of the community.Media provided me with a network that has always been up-to-date with what was going on in the world, as well as a foundation of facts or truths, knowledge, and trends, as well as a greater reliance and outspokenness toward journalism.Which is because I'm opposed to really using entertainment, but on the other aspect, it provides a clearer understanding about how to concentrate. immediately as in direction of engaging with the true essence of communication in the modern environment.

Thanks for reminding us @ahmednaguez7819! I agree that we should always use media carefully, according to higher values and principles, like those in religion.

Whenever something has multiple meanings it can often mean nothing.
I agree @play030. Just like in the famous saying, "a friend to all is a friend to none".
Feels like "media literacy" just a fancy pseudo-academic way to pretend the "death of the author" concept doesn't exist. People drawing different conclusions from art has been normal for generations.
You mean "relativism"?
"viewing media from a single perspective is not media literacy. Media literacy requires the ability and willingness to view and analyze media from multiple perspectives"
Media literacy is just one of many literacies. What's pseudo-academic about it? It always suprises me that people like you are out there, making decisions and changing the world.
Media is altogether not useful it has its advantages It is the treasure of knowledge the complexity under laying is the maze in applying for a job or scholarship it should be a simple format. Few people benefit
We beg to disagree salman frs. Media is useful in itself, and especially if its producers and users are media literate. 🙂

The media affects my perception of reality through itsinfluence on my view of life.

Media has been a part of my day to day life and is one of the factors that affects the way I think and behave. We should be a medical literate and at the same time always bare in minds that we should not let media consumes us.
